Chapter 25 Provocation

Class Creator:I Can Create Infinite Classes

"I actually have a special class. I think I might be the only person in this world who has it," Lars explained. He was standing while looking at Max, who was sitting beneath the shade of a large tree inside Caucasus Field.

"A special class? What can it do?"

"With this class, I can equip multiple classes. Not just one," Lars explained.

"Multiple classes? That’s actually very cool! Where did you get it? And how many classes can you equip?" Max became excited.

"There was a special dungeon where I got it, but it’s already gone forever. As for the classes, right now I only have less than ten," Lars said.

"Is that so?" Max looked slightly disappointed. He had thought that maybe he could obtain the same class as Lars.

"Does anyone else know about this?"

"No. You’re the first person I’ve told."

"Is it really fine for you to tell me about this? I mean, this is actually a big deal. If someone other than me finds out, they surely won’t let you go," Max said.

"That’s why I’m only telling you. We’ve known each other since we were kids. There’s no one else I can trust besides you right now."

Lars planned to tell him only part of the truth. He didn’t want to reveal the main ability of his class yet, the ability to create classes. If Max knew about that, Lars was afraid he would be too shocked.

"Besides, I’m telling you now because I actually have a deal for you. How about you work together with me from now on? We raid dungeons together and share all the loot we get."

"Hmmm... that’s actually a nice idea. But if it’s only the two of us, the loot will be divided in half. I think I will earn less than what I usually get."

"Don’t worry. Raiding dungeons isn’t the only way we can make money. I have these." Lars brought out several Class Books from his inventory and handed them to Max.

Max’s eyes widened as he looked at them.

"No way! This is... Phantom Magus. This one is Blazing Archmage. And this one... War Templar! These are some of the most sought-after classes in the South Region right now. Where did you get them?" Max looked up at Lars.

But Lars wasn’t finished yet. He then brought out another dozen Class Books and placed them on the ground.

Looking at all of them, Max’s jaw dropped. Then, a realization suddenly hit him as everything connected.

"Don’t tell me... you’re actually..."

Lars nodded.

"Yes. That’s me!" He folded his arms proudly.

Max placed a hand on his head. He never expected that the most popular person in the region right now was actually his old friend. He needed some time to digest all this information.

After a while, Max finally managed to calm down.

"You know that you’re being hunted right now, right? All the top companies want to know who you are."

"I know! That’s why I’m in a pinch right now. For the past month, I’ve had no problem selling all these Class Books. But now, I can’t do that anymore. That’s why I’m telling you all this. I want you to sell these books for me."

"Are you serious?! Don’t you think that’s dangerous for me? What if I get caught?"

"Don’t worry. From what I’ve observed, VolcaCorp is only checking IDs before someone enters the Auction Hall. Once you’re inside a private Auction Room, they won’t know which ID you’re using." Lars then handed him his ID.

Max looked at Lars’s ID before looking back at him.

"I want 50% of the profit."

"30%."

"What?! That’s too low. This job is too risky for me. I still want 50%."

"40%. Last offer."

"60%. If you don’t want it, then I will refuse."

"Why did it become higher?! Tch! Fine. 50% it is. We will divide the profit equally." Lars finally surrendered.

"Deal!" Max shook Lars’s hand.

This moment marked the beginning of a legendary partnership that would one day shake the entire nation.

"Gulp!"

Max swallowed hard as he pulled at his collar. He was currently queuing to enter the Auction Hall. Soon, he arrived in front of a VolcaCorp member.

"Your ID!"

Max showed him his own ID. After scanning it, the man looked at Max.

"What do you want to sell?"

"I want to sell... err, some weapons," Max replied.

"Hmph! Go!"

Max walked past him before letting out a relieved sigh. He quickly searched for an empty Auction Room, choosing one at the very back. After finding one, he brought out Lars’s ID.

He looked left and right first before logging in.

Ting!

The door opened, and he immediately entered.

"Finally! I did it!" Max clenched his fist. Now that he had entered the room, no one could disturb him anymore. He immediately brought out the Class Books.

Lars had told him to sell three Class Books at the same time. It was his way of responding to all those people who thought they could catch him.

After Max completed all the procedures and entered the seller note, he was ready to leave.

At the same time, hunters throughout the Dungeon Hub were stunned. Because right now, Anonymous214 was bidding once again.

Bid: [Triple Deluxe!]

Class Books: Phantom Magus + Blazing Archmage + War Templar

Seller: Anonymous214

Starting Bid: 50,000 Zents

Current Bid: Nil

Seller Note:

Do you think you can catch me?!

"He’s back again!"

"This is what I’ve been waiting for! I will bid with all my life savings!"

"He’s selling all three classes at the same time?! This is totally a provocation!"

The situation quickly became hectic as hunters started placing their bids. Even those who had no intention of using the classes wanted them, planning to resell them at a higher price later.

All of this made the VolcaCorp members furious. Anonymous214 had slipped right under their noses.

"Check the location where he posted the bid!" one of the VolcaCorp members shouted.

However, amid all the commotion, the Mazeltov group was finally making their move. They were scanning each private Auction Room using the special app created by Emma.

[I found it!]

Sarah suddenly shouted through the walkie-talkie.

[Where?! Tell me!]

[Private Room 94!]

All the members quickly made a run for it. They didn’t want any other people or groups to notice their movement. After a few minutes, they all arrived in front of the room.

"Is this the room?" Oscar asked.

Sarah raised her phone, and the screen was flashing red, meaning it had detected the ID of Anonymous214.

"Good. Now, please come out quickly. We’ve been waiting for far too long." Benn Strong cracked his knuckles.

Suddenly, the door started to unlock.

Click!

Then, it slowly opened.
