Before I could argue, he began leading me out of the bedroom.
We entered the long corridors of the estate, and the moment the guards and servants noticed him, everyone immediately stopped whatever they were doing and lowered their heads respectfully.
The atmosphere changed wherever he passed, as though his mere presence was enough to command absolute obedience from everyone around him.
I watched them for a moment before turning my attention back to the man holding my chains.
“Can’t you at least tell me your name?” I asked.
He continued walking for several steps before finally answering.
“I’m Kianda,” he said calmly.
“Supreme Alpha.” I nearly stopped walking.
“Supreme Alpha?” The title echoed in my mind as confusion settled over me.
Kiaren was the Supreme Alpha.
At least, that was what I had been told.
So how could this man also be a Supreme Alpha?
And if Kianda was a Supreme Alpha, then what exactly did that make Kiaren?
More importantly, after everything that had happened, one question suddenly became impossible to ignore.
Who was I actually supposed to marry?
I went along with him as he moved his hands from the chains to my shoulders, holding me close in a way that was strangely intimate.
Under normal circumstances, I would have pushed him away immediately, but there was something about his presence that made even that simple act feel impossible.
It wasn’t exactly repulsive, yet I couldn’t bring myself to resist him either.
My body seemed to have lost whatever strength it needed to fight him, leaving me completely powerless whenever he was near.
“What are you thinking?” he murmured, a quiet giggle escaping him as he continued walking beside me.
“Planning your escape?
That won’t work, Rida.
I don’t mind hunting, you know.” I remained silent, following him through the corridor while trying to understand where exactly I was and what was happening around me.
We hadn’t gone very far when we came across the woman who had been lying unconscious in the room I had been locked inside.
Ann.
My eyes widened when I saw her standing there, awake and walking, although a servant was supporting her by the arm.
I couldn’t help staring at her because only a short while ago, her body had been so cold and lifeless that I had genuinely wondered whether she was dead.
Seeing her standing in front of me now felt almost miraculous.
If only she had been a pure wolf, perhaps she wouldn’t have suffered from that strange genetic disease in the first place.
“Uncle Kianda…” Ann stopped when she noticed us and immediately bowed respectfully before lifting her head again, her eyes settling on Kianda with an unmistakable look of admiration.
I raised an eyebrow.
“Ohhh…” I muttered sarcastically.
“A woman in love?
Don’t tell me you’re using me to make her jealous.” At this point, I honestly felt as though I had somehow been dragged into the middle of a ridiculous love triangle.
Was Kiaren in love with Ann?
Was Kianda also interested in her?
Was that the reason I had been brought here and kept captive while everyone else seemed to know something I didn’t?
“Me?
Her?” Kianda suddenly scoffed before casually kicking Ann aside, sending her stumbling away from him.
“You know how you’re supposed to call me.
Don’t ever call me so intimately.” His eyes narrowed as he glanced at her.
“My beautiful Rida here might become jealous.” He gave a quiet snicker, but the moment his aura spread through the corridor, the entire atmosphere changed.
Every guard and servant nearby immediately dropped to their knees, their heads lowered as they struggled beneath the overwhelming pressure of his presence.
I wasn’t spared either, and my knees nearly gave way beneath me, but Kianda’s arm remained firmly around my shoulders, keeping me upright.
I swallowed hard as I realized that he hadn’t even seemed to make an effort.
For the briefest moment, he had simply lost control of his aura, yet that alone had been enough to force everyone around us to their knees.
“I didn’t know you were this weak for me,” he whispered near my ear, his amusement returning as he guided me forward.
“And what do you think happened when you were locked in the same room with her?
They might come looking for you once they discover the truth.” My heart immediately began pounding.
The moment he mentioned the room, my mind returned to those strange blood droplets that had fallen onto Ann’s face while she was unconscious.
I remembered the way her skin had suddenly flushed and those strange bumps had appeared across her body.
My face slowly lost its color.
That couldn’t be the reason, could it?
If my blood had somehow caused what happened to Ann, then what did that make me?
The thought of becoming nothing more than a blood bank for someone else terrified me.
“Uncle… What’s the meaning of this?” Kieran’s voice suddenly echoed through the corridor, and I looked ahead to see him approaching quickly.
His expression was dark with anger as he moved toward Ann, who was still being supported by the servant.
Kianda stopped and turned around with me still tucked against his side, his expression completely unconcerned as he looked at Kieran.
“You’d better take care of your lover,” he said casually.
“I don’t like the way she calls me, and I certainly don’t like the way she looks at me.
Next time…” His smile disappeared, leaving his voice cold and unsettling.
“It will be the eyes.” With that, he tightened his hold around my shoulders and walked away, taking me with him while Kieran remained behind with Ann, his furious gaze following us down the corridor.
We soon found ourselves walking through a huge sitting area before finally reaching the dining room.
The space was enormous, with expensive furniture arranged perfectly around the room, but despite its beauty, I barely paid attention to any of it.
My mind was still trying to understand the situation I had somehow found myself in, especially with Kianda’s arm resting so casually around my shoulders as though we had been walking together like this for years.
Behind us, I could hear footsteps approaching, and when I glanced over my shoulder, I saw Kieran and Ann following several steps behind.
The moment we entered the dining area, however, the atmosphere changed.
“Kianda…” The name left someone’s mouth almost in disbelief, and I quickly realized that everyone at the table had been caught off guard by his arrival.
Their surprise only deepened when they noticed me walking beside him, chained and held closely against his side as though bringing a stranger into the family dining room was the most ordinary thing in the world.
Kianda, on the other hand, seemed completely unaffected.
“What’s the matter, my dear brother?” he asked casually as though he couldn’t understand why everyone was staring.
He pulled out a chair for me with exaggerated politeness, gesturing for me to sit before taking the seat beside me.
I lowered myself into the chair, still trying to process the absurdity of the situation, while the enormous dining table remained filled with people who were now watching me as though I had suddenly appeared from nowhere.
“Uncle…” A beautiful young woman finally broke the silence.
“What’s the meaning of this?
You can’t just drag unknown filthy woman into our family dining table!” I turned toward her.
She was undeniably beautiful, dressed in a way that immediately told me she had grown up surrounded by privilege.
From the confidence in her voice to the way everyone around her remained silent, I could tell she wasn’t some ordinary member of the household.
Before she could say anything else, the cutlery lying in front of her suddenly dropped from the table and crashed onto the floor.
She froze.
A thin scratch appeared across her cheek.
I stared at her in shock.
“When was the last time you saw your Uncle?” Kianda asked, his voice deceptively calm.
“Can’t you even show a little respect?” He tilted his head toward his brother with an almost mocking smile.
“My dear brother, what kind of children are you raising?” The servants immediately began placing food in front of me, moving with such nervous precision that I could practically feel their fear.
They had no idea who I was, but judging from the….
