His warning was almost useless because several servants had already begun scrambling away from the table, while the guards stationed around the dining room instinctively reached for their weapons, their movements revealing just how quickly fear could override discipline.

I watched them with growing unease, wondering whether anyone in this room was actually foolish enough to challenge Kianda after everything I had already seen him do.

Every weapon in the room suddenly snapped apart.

The sound of breaking metal echoed through the dining room as the weapons shattered in the guards’ hands, their pieces falling uselessly onto the floor.

One of the guards stared down at what remained of his weapon, his face completely drained of color, before slowly lowering his hands as though he had finally understood that there was absolutely nothing they could do against the man standing before them.

Kianda smiled.

“I wasn’t finished talking.” Kieran took a step toward him, his expression filled with fury as his eyes remained fixed on his uncle.

“You don’t scare me at all.” “That’s rather unfortunate.” The words had barely left Kianda’s mouth when he disappeared.

I didn’t even see him move.

One moment he was standing in front of us, and the next, Kieran’s body was violently thrown across the dining room as though an invisible force had seized him.

He crashed through the wooden partition behind him, splintering the expensive structure apart before hitting the floor with enough force to send broken pieces scattering across the room.

“Supreme Alpha!” Ann screamed as she rushed toward him, but Kieran was already pushing himself upright.

Blood trickled slowly from the corner of his mouth, staining his lips as his red eyes burned with fury.

Yet Kianda was already standing beside the table again.

His suit remained perfectly neat, his hair hadn’t moved, and there wasn’t even a sign that he had crossed the room.

He looked completely composed, as though throwing the Supreme Alpha through a wall had been nothing more than an insignificant interruption to his breakfast.

“Uncle…” Kellan said cautiously.

Kianda turned his head toward him.

“Sit down.” Kellan immediately stopped where he was.

There was something about the simplicity of those two words that made everyone understand he wasn’t asking.

Kianda then turned his attention back to Kieran, who was slowly rising from the wreckage.

“I don’t care who you think you are,” he said, his voice unnervingly calm.

“You will not insult what belongs to me.” My heart began pounding the moment I heard those words.

What belongs to me?

I stared at him, unable to understand what he meant, but before I could even gather enough courage to ask, Kieran suddenly lunged.

His claws extended as he crossed the room with terrifying speed, his entire body driven by anger, but Kianda simply raised one hand.

Kieran stopped in midair.

I could barely believe what I was seeing.

He remained suspended several inches above the floor, his claws hanging only inches from Kianda’s face, his body completely frozen as though an invisible force had wrapped itself around every muscle.

For one terrifying second, nobody moved, and then Kianda slowly lowered his hand.

Kieran’s body was slammed violently into the floor.

The impact shook the entire room, cracking the surface beneath him as the sound of the collision echoed through the dining area.

Blood appeared at the corner of his mouth again, and I watched in stunned silence as Kianda began walking toward him.

He moved slowly, almost casually, as though he hadn’t just stopped the Supreme Alpha in midair and driven him into the floor with a single gesture.

“You have power,” Kianda said as he approached, his voice carrying effortlessly through the tense room.

“You have authority, and you have an entire family willing to kneel whenever you speak.” He stopped beside Kieran and crouched down, looking at him with a calmness that somehow felt more threatening than anger ever could.

“But you still haven’t learned the difference between possessing power and knowing how to use it.” Kieran glared at him through the blood running down his face, refusing to look away despite everything that had just happened.

His hands curled against the cracked floor as though he were preparing to attack again, but Kianda simply watched him with an almost amused expression.

“Perhaps I should teach you.” “Kianda.” My voice escaped before I could stop myself.

His head slowly turned toward me.

I swallowed hard as I suddenly became aware that every person in the dining room had turned their attention toward me.

Even Kieran looked toward me from where he lay on the cracked floor, and for a moment, I wondered whether I had just made the biggest mistake of my life.

“Enough,” I said quietly.

The single word seemed almost insignificant compared to the power surrounding us, yet somehow it was enough to bring the entire room to silence.

Kianda simply stared at me.

I couldn’t tell what he was thinking, and I wasn’t sure whether he was going to laugh, become angry, or simply ignore me.

After everything I had witnessed since arriving at the Kessan estate, I honestly wouldn’t have been surprised by any of those possibilities.

Instead, his lips slowly curved into a smile.

Then he laughed.

“Hahaha…” He rose from beside Kieran and began walking back toward me, leaving the injured Supreme Alpha behind as though he had already lost interest in him.

When Kianda reached my chair, he took hold of the chains around my wrists and gave them a gentle tug, pulling me closer to his side.

I didn’t resist.

I simply stared at him, my heart still pounding as I tried to understand what kind of madness I had somehow become trapped inside.

Behind us, Kieran remained on the cracked floor, blood still visible on his face, while the rest of the Kessan family watched in silence.

And somehow, I had a terrible feeling that this was only the beginning.

“You’re becoming troublesome, Rida,” he murmured, amusement slowly returning to his voice.

“But I like troublesome things.” I remained silent, my heart still pounding as I glanced toward Kieran.

He had already wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, but his eyes remained fixed on me, and there was something in his expression that I couldn’t understand.

I couldn’t tell whether he was angry with me, confused by what was happening, or simply trying to figure out why his uncle had suddenly taken such an interest in a woman who had been brought into their family as his bride.

For the first time since I had arrived at the Kessan estate, I realized that there was something far more frightening than being hated by the Supreme Alpha.

Somehow, without even intending to, I had become the one thing his uncle was willing to fight his entire family over, and judging from the way everyone around that table had gone silent, they knew exactly how dangerous that could become.

I slowly looked around the dining table, and something immediately felt wrong.

Nobody was eating anymore.

The servants who had been moving around only moments earlier had completely frozen in place, while the members of the Kessan family remained seated in an uncomfortable silence, their attention constantly shifting between Kieran, Kianda, and me as though none of them knew what they were supposed to do next.

Even the atmosphere seemed different now, heavy with an unspoken fear that nobody was willing to acknowledge.

I lowered my gaze toward the food in front of me, then cautiously looked at Kieran before turning my attention to Kianda and finally back to my plate.

Why did I suddenly feel like I had started a war simply by sitting down for breakfast?

Kellan was the first person brave enough to break the silence.

He leaned back in his chair and looked toward his older brother, who was still standing near the damaged section of the dining room with blood staining his face.

“Well…” he muttered, rubbing his chin thoughtfully.

“That went surprisingly well.” Kieran’s eyes immediately snapped toward him.

Kellan raised both hands innocently.

“What?

I’m just saying.

Breakfast has never been this entertaining.” “Not another word,” Kieran warned.

Kellan’s lips twitched as though he was struggling not to laugh, but he wisely decided that provoking Kieran any further was probably not worth losing his life over.
