The two of them arrived at Building 1.

This building was mainly for teacher dormitories. Since high-level gifted students were rare, one entire building had been designated for their use.

Each unit had two rooms and a living area, with a private bathroom. Cang’er had originally thought she might have to share with several students, but the conditions were actually quite good. One gold coin was worth it.Full novel: Confirmed: The Strongest Wage Slave in the Interstellar Age — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Mia chose the room directly across from Cang’er on the same floor and bound her student ID to the system. She then took a large package from her storage ring and placed it in Cang’er’s room—it was a back-to-school gift. Being the most favored young lady of the Gewulia family, Mia naturally had her own storage tools.

Cang’er had wanted to go check out the cafeteria with Mia, but her light-brain kept vibrating with notifications. Glancing at the messages, she hurriedly got up to leave.

“Oh no, the head of the Healing Department has been waiting for her all morning.”

“Take it easy!” Cang’er laughed, bending over as she watched Mia’s panicked expression.

Opening the package Mia had brought, Cang’er found bedding, pajamas, a water cup, toothbrush, and other daily necessities. She was slightly surprised, then felt a warm rush of emotion swell in her heart.

She had been in this interstellar era for nearly half a month, always feeling adrift and unsettled. Now she could finally take a breath.

She had friends: Mingya, Monk, Mia, and Master Ji. The warmth of their friendship filled her heart. For the first time, this strange and magical world made her feel a sense of belonging.

Formal classes would start three days after new student registration.

During these three days, Cang’er moved back and forth between the dormitory and cafeteria, studying the books Master Ji Feng had given her. Whenever she encountered a creature she had never heard of, she would search for it on her light-brain. If she couldn’t find it, she would mark it down and ask her master about it in a few days.

She had developed an unusually strong interest in mecha design. Whenever she got hungry, she drank nutrient solutions. Each time, she would exhaust her spiritual power completely before resting.

Finally, the first day of school arrived. Cang’er and Mia followed their light-brain schedules to Comprehensive Teaching Building 107. Most of the students were already seated, so they picked an inconspicuous corner.

However, over the past few days, news about Cang’er had gone viral on Taman City’s Star Network. Keeping a low profile was impossible.

This class was a combined course, attended by students from all four academies. A teacher in a white shirt walked in. He was slim, gentle in temperament, with smooth chestnut short hair neatly falling on his head.

“Hello, everyone. I’m Ivy Nuo, you can call me Teacher Ivy. Over the next year, I will guide you in understanding your talents.”

“Although you are all carriers of gifted powers, most of you don’t yet know how to use them. Take red talent as an example: those with red talent are naturally stronger in strength and balance, serving as the key combat members in a team. Within your cells lies power that others don’t have. Your task is to sense this power, fill every cell with it, and unlock countless possibilities of your body.”

“Next is yellow talent, which is similar to red in terms of combat. Yellow talent users are also combatants, but unlike red, you can control your own weight and that of objects, sense weight, and use wind and gravity to move more lightly and quickly. You need to master speed, agility, and surprise attacks. Beyond combat, you also serve as assault and reconnaissance members.”

“Blue talent users are different. Your ability is mainly concentrated in the mind—we call this mental power. By concentrating mental power, you can manipulate various materials into desired shapes. Those with blue talent must learn mecha creation and mental projection to help the team scout the surroundings.”

“But a very small number of people have extremely powerful mental energy, capable of materializing consciousness. They could snap a tree or even a person’s neck, and you might not even know when their mental power strikes your heart or mind. Therefore, in combat, you must guard not only against combat and agile soldiers but also against those controlling mental power.”

As Ivy said this, Cang’er sensed that his gaze lingered on her face for half a second. Others also glanced at her intentionally or unintentionally.

“Ahem, let’s continue with green talent,” Ivy adjusted the pace, noticing the attention drifting toward Cang’er.

“Green talent users are unique among the four groups. You primarily perceive the life force of the universe and use it to regenerate cells. In team combat, you serve as essential medics. Other members must protect you in battle, while you must learn to apply life force strategically to heal teammates who are injured during combat.”

…

“All right, that’s it for today’s lesson. In the next class, we’ll discuss team combat strategies.” After saying this, Ivy left the classroom first.
