Five long years had passed since Miyuki issued those cold commands in that dark room.

During this time, the corridors of the White Room had witnessed the brutal new curriculum developed by Suzukake.

The children had not broken; instead, they had transformed into diamonds, growing sharper and more resilient with every strike.Full novel: Cote: White Room Harem — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

They were now fourteen years old.

In the center of the vast, futuristic waiting lounge, four teenagers stood side by side.

The standard white laboratory uniforms they had worn for years were gone, replaced by civilian clothes from the outside world.

For the first time, their hearts beat with a thoroughly human excitement, a stark contrast to the mechanical rhythm of the facility.

Professor Miyuki had promised them something they had never experienced before: to step into the outside world and live like normal people for an entire year.

Yuki could barely contain herself, her bright purple eyes gleaming with excitement.

She hopped into the air, her skirt fluttering around her.

“Finally!” she cheered, her voice echoing off the high ceiling of the lounge.

“We finally get to see the outside world, Kamiki-kun!” She quickly bounced over to Kamiki’s side and wrapped her arm around his.

The pure, childlike joy on her face was no different from how she looked five years ago.

The only difference was that she was now a taller, more mature, and strikingly beautiful young girl.

Shiro brushed her long white hair over her shoulders.

A familiar arrogant yet genuine smile tugged at the corners of her lips as she chuckled softly at Yuki’s childish outburst.

“Stop acting like a toddler, Yuki,” Shiro said, her blue eyes shimmering.

“We don’t want the people outside thinking we’re lunatics the moment they see us.” “Mind your own business, Shiro!” Yuki snapped back, though her voice lacked any real malice, filled instead with sweet anticipation.

She pressed her arm even tighter against Kamiki’s.

Meanwhile, Kiyone casually spun her mystery novel between her fingers.

Her amber eyes shone with an unshakeable calm, though even she couldn’t suppress a slight smile.

“Our adjustment period to the outside world will likely be challenging during the first few days,” Kiyone noted in a flat yet soft tone.

“However, Yuki’s abundance of energy might actually help accelerate our pace.” Kamiki silently observed the girls, his gaze deep, steady, and enigmatic as always.

Yet beneath his calm exterior, a profound wave of relief washed over him.

*Finally,* he thought.

He weighed the past in the depths of his mind.

When God had granted him this chance—when he chose to reincarnate into this universe—he hadn’t regretted it for a single second.

Confronting Miyuki, who existed as a ruthless woman in this world instead of the original timeline’s Atsuomi, and turning these three monster girls into his own loyal satellites had been a magnificent game.

But truth be told, he was getting rather tired of these white walls, the sterile scent, and the never-ending tests.

After fourteen years, his feet were finally going to touch free soil again.

And he had three genius girls by his side, devoted enough to give their lives for him.

Miyuki entered the lounge with her usual heavy, confident strides.

Her black pantsuit was immaculate, as always.

Behind her, Suzukake and Kintaro stood like silent shadows.

Miyuki’s sharp eyes scanned the four teenagers in their civilian clothes, taking them in one by one.

“You have all worked hard,” Miyuki said.

Her voice was ice-cold, yet carried a hint of approval.

“The time has come for you to see the outside world.” Yuki excitedly squeezed Kamiki’s arm a bit tighter.

Shiro and Kiyone instantly snapped into a rigid, perfect posture.

Miyuki crossed her arms over her chest.

“I am granting you a one-year respite.

Go and live like ordinary people.

Consider this a part of your curriculum.” Kamiki maintained his unshakeable mask as he looked into the woman’s eyes, but internally, he was laughing out loud.

Knowing the original plot and all the secrets of the White Room, Miyuki’s lie struck him as thoroughly amusing.

*Respite?

A part of the curriculum?* Kamiki thought, his inner voice dripping with mockery.

*She thinks we’re fools.* Kamiki knew the real reason behind this decision all too well.

This wasn’t happening because Miyuki suddenly felt generous; it was a matter of absolute necessity.

The government and opposing factions were on the verge of discovering the illegally operated White Room project.

To avoid losing the fourth generation—the most valuable diamonds of the facility—to the government, Miyuki had no choice but to release them temporarily.

She was going to seal this place for a year.

“Thank you, Professor Miyuki,” Kamiki said, his voice smooth and even.

“We will make the absolute most of this year.” Miyuki gave a slight nod.

“I have no doubt you will.

Especially you, Kamiki.

Keep an eye on the girls.” Suddenly, Miyuki’s gaze grew even colder.

The temperature in the room seemed to drop instantly as she tightened her arms across her chest.

“Shiro, Yuki,” Miyuki commanded, her voice falling like an executioner’s axe.

“The two of you will return to your respective families.” The joy in the room evaporated instantly.

The vibrant smile on Yuki’s face froze solid.

Shiro’s arrogant posture collapsed in an instant.

Both girls stood paralyzed in sheer shock.

A deathly silence enveloped the lounge.

Yuki’s purple eyes widened in bewilderment, her mind turning into a chaotic blur.

*A family?* She had a family?

People who loved her, people who were waiting for her?

If that was true, why had they sent her to this hell in the first place?

Why had she endured fourteen years of agonizing torment?

Tears welled up in Yuki’s eyes, threatening to spill over her eyelashes.

Her lips trembled.

A colossal sense of betrayal swelled in her heart, but the White Room had taught her never to show weakness.

She grit her teeth, forcing herself to hold back the tears.

She clenched her fists so hard that her nails dug deep into her palms.

Shiro was completely shattered.

Her face turned as pale as her snow-white hair, and for the first time, a profound despair surfaced in her blue eyes.

The word ‘family’ meant absolutely nothing to her.

Her only family, her only sanctuary, was the friends in this room.

She felt utterly abandoned, her flawless logic ripped to shreds by this sudden blow.

Instinctively, both girls took a step toward Kamiki at the same time, as if he were their sole salvation.

“I’m not going to them!” Yuki cried out, her voice choking back a sob.

“I want to stay with Kamiki-kun!” “I’m not going either,” Shiro said.

Her voice was cold, but masked a deep panic.

“I don’t have a family.

I’m staying by Kamiki-kun’s side.” Miyuki remained entirely unfazed by their reaction, not even blinking.

“This is not a request,” she stated flatly.

“Until the government investigation concludes, you must appear in the outside world under your real identities.

The system requires it.” A single tear escaped Yuki’s eye and rolled down her cheek.

She quickly grabbed onto Kamiki’s sleeve.

“Kamiki-kun…

please,” she whispered, her voice completely desperate.

“Don’t leave us.

Don’t send me to them.” Shiro stepped to Kamiki’s other side, her eyes locked onto his expressionless face.

“Kamiki-kun, say something.

Don’t let this nonsense happen,” she pleaded, her tone more vulnerable than ever before.

Kiyone stood silently to the side, a deep melancholy flickering in her amber eyes.

She pressed her mystery novel tighter against her chest.

Seeing their anguish reawakened a strange, heavy pressure within her.

She cast a resentful glance at her mother.

Kamiki felt the girls’ pain acutely.

Though his mask didn’t slip, his mind was working at breakneck speed.

He had anticipated this move from Miyuki.

He needed to prevent the girls from breaking entirely; their bond was the most critical piece of his grand plan.

Slowly, Kamiki placed a hand on Yuki’s shoulder while his other hand gently clasped Shiro’s trembling fingers.

This small gesture of contact was enough to make both girls catch their breath.

“Calm down,” Kamiki said, his voice smooth and reassuring as always.

“This is only temporary.” “Besides, we are allowed to visit each other on the outside, aren’t we, Professor Miyuki?” Kamiki asked.

His tone was calm and calculated as he locked eyes with the woman.

Miyuki nodded slightly.

“Yes.

I do not expect you to sever contact entirely.

You may meet in the outside world.” Yuki quickly wiped her tears away, snapping her head up.

“Then where will Kamiki-kun stay?” she asked impatiently.

“Whose family is he going to?” Miyuki lowered her arms.

“Kamiki has no family to return to,” she replied evenly.

“Therefore, he will reside in a house I have arranged.

Along with Kiyone.” The lounge fell silent once more, but this time, the shock was entirely different.

Upon hearing this, a faint smile played on Kiyone’s lips.

A sudden spark ignited in her amber eyes as she lowered her book slightly.

This was the perfect opportunity to pull ahead of the other two.

She would be living under the same roof as Kamiki, completely alone with him, for an entire year.

Kiyone’s silent smile of victory was enough to make Shiro and Yuki’s faces sour instantly.

The wave of sorrow from moments ago was immediately replaced by pure, unadulterated jealousy.

“What?” Yuki gasped, her purple eyes narrowing in fury.

“With Kiyone?

That’s not fair!” Shiro clenched her fists, glaring sharply at Kiyone through her white bangs.

“Don’t get too ahead of yourself, Kiyone,” Shiro threatened, her voice dropping to a freezing register.

“We will visit every single day.

I won’t give the two of you any alone time in that house.” “You are welcome to visit as much as you like,” Kiyone replied, her tone entirely nonchalant.

“But at the end of the day, I am the one who will be sleeping under the same roof as Kamiki.” “You…” Yuki flushed red with anger, squeezing Kamiki’s arm even tighter.

“Kamiki-kun!

I don’t want to go.

Please let me stay in that house too!” “The rules are absolute,” Miyuki intervened, her voice leaving no room for argument.

“Yuki, your family is waiting at the gates.

Shiro, your car is ready.” Watching the tension escalate between them, Kamiki smiled inwardly.

This fierce rivalry would keep the girls from growing soft in the outside world.

“It’s fine,” Kamiki said, looking at Shiro and Yuki.

“Kiyone is right, you can visit whenever you want.

I’ll send you the address.” Shiro took a deep breath, tearing her gaze away from Kiyone to look at Kamiki.

“Promise?” she asked.

“Promise,” Kamiki replied.

Yuki pouted.

“I’ll come every single day, Kamiki-kun.

I’ll be at your doorstep every morning.” Miyuki checked her watch.

“Move out,” she ordered.

“Time is short.” At Miyuki’s final command, the guards in the corridor stepped forward, guiding Yuki and Shiro toward the exit with a polite yet unyielding firmness.

Even as she passed through the doors, Yuki kept looking back at Kamiki with tearful eyes.

Shiro, on the other hand, shot one last venomous glare at Kiyone before walking out with sharp, decisive strides.

When the massive steel doors shut with a heavy thud, only Kamiki, Kiyone, and Professor Miyuki—standing a few paces away—remained in the colossal waiting lounge.

Kamiki narrowed his eyes slightly while maintaining his enigmatic, unshakeable mask.

In the depths of his mind, he silently activated his private system interface, shifting his gaze directly toward the blonde girl beside him to check her current data status.

> **[Kiyone – Current Status Analysis]** > *Loyalty and Affection Level: 83%* > Seeing that massive 83% glowing on the screen, Kamiki’s sense of internal satisfaction deepened.

Compared to the dull, emotionally detached girl who was completely disconnected from human relationships in the original world, Kiyone had transformed into an entirely different entity.

Instead of being crushed under his leadership for fourteen years, she had chosen to reshape herself around him.

The antisocial girl from the beginning of the original story, who operated solely on commands, was gone.

Thanks to Kamiki’s strategic guidance, she laughed more, made subtle jokes when the timing was right, and knew exactly how to utilize human psychology not just as data, but as an active weapon.

Her lack of social skills had been entirely eradicated within the walls of the White Room.

Miyuki observed the silent harmony between the two for a moment.

The click of her high heels echoed through the empty hall once more.

She didn’t slow her pace as she walked down the corridor.

“I have also arranged a butler for you,” she said coldly.

“He will handle the household chores.

Follow me.” Kamiki and Kiyone followed Miyuki without a word.

The long, white, sterile corridors were left behind as heavy security gates opened one after another.

When the final, massive steel door slid open, the outside world revealed itself in all its majesty.

Stepping outside, they saw that the White Room was actually hidden deep within a dense, mountainous forest.

The scent of fresh earth and the breeze from the pine trees washed over their faces.

Sunlight filtered through the clouds, warming their skin.

Kamiki narrowed his eyes slightly.

This was his second life.

He remembered the outside world, the sky, and nature perfectly from his previous existence, so he wasn’t surprised.

Behind his unshakeable mask, he simply took a deep breath and relished the taste of freedom.

Kiyone, however, was experiencing something entirely different.

For the first time in her life, she was seeing something other than artificial lights and white walls.

Her amber eyes darted around in pure curiosity.

She analyzed the leaves on the trees, the movement of the wind, and the grandeur of the mountains with immense focus, rapidly processing this new data in her mind.

“This place…” Kiyone murmured, a hint of awe in her voice.

“It’s far more complex than the system simulations.” “That’s reality for you,” Kamiki said, stepping up beside her.

“It contains too many variables to ever be truly simulated.” Miyuki pointed toward a sleek, black luxury sedan parked on the asphalt road ahead.

Waiting by the car door was an elderly man dressed in an immaculate black suit and white gloves.

Upon seeing them, he bowed deeply with profound respect.

Miyuki extended her hand in a sharp, commanding gesture.

“This is your butler, Matsuo,” she declared, her absolute authority echoing even through the mountain air.

“Your new life begins now.

Do not disappoint me.” Hearing the name Matsuo, a small spark ignited in Kamiki’s memory.

Since he knew the original story inside out, he instantly recognized the man standing before him.

It was Matsuo—the loyal, trustworthy butler who had aided Kiyotaka in the original universe.

Following Miyuki’s introduction, Matsuo bowed at a perfect ninety-degree angle, showing immense deference.

His white-gloved hands were clasped in front of him.

His face bore a warm, humane, and fiercely loyal expression—the kind of expression one would never see on the cold instructors of the White Room.

“Kiyone-sama, Kamiki-sama,” Matsuo said, his voice exceptionally polite, smooth, and full of reverence.

“This way, please.” Matsuo stepped backward, gracefully opening the rear door of the luxury black car.

Kiyone fixed her amber eyes on Matsuo.

This was the first time a human being had addressed her in such a manner—completely devoid of fear, yet carrying absolute respect.

For a mind accustomed to being addressed only by numbers or as a test subject in the White Room, the title “Kiyone-sama” was entirely new data.

“Thank you, Matsuo,” Kiyone said, her voice as relaxed and refined as a young noblewoman’s.

“I look forward to your company.” Matsuo bowed his head slightly at Kiyone’s unexpected politeness, a genuine look of satisfaction appearing in his eyes.

He had assumed the children emerging from the White Room would be nothing more than emotionless machines, yet the young lady before him conducted herself with absolute grace.

Just as Kamiki was about to step into the vehicle, he paused.

He turned his body back toward Miyuki.

This slight, sudden movement caused a momentary tension in Matsuo’s hands as he held the door.

Kamiki locked his deep, unyielding gaze onto the woman’s icy eyes.

“Just a moment, Professor,” Kamiki said, his voice perfectly smooth and level.

“We are heading into the outside world.

But what names will we be known by out there?

In other words…

what are our surnames?” Miyuki didn’t hesitate for a second, as if she had been expecting the question.

She crossed her arms over her chest.

“For your legal status and bureaucratic procedures in the outside world, you have been assigned surnames corresponding to your official identities,” she stated, her voice as clear as a computer recording.

“Your full name is Kamiki Shirogane.

And Kiyone’s full name is Ayanokoji Kiyone.” “Ayanokoji?” Kiyone murmured.

Standing by the car door, the blonde girl narrowed her amber eyes the moment she heard the name.

She let the words roll off her tongue, testing the name like a melody.

“Ayanokoji Kiyone…

Ayanokoji…” Kiyone instantly recognized the noble weight and prestige carried by the surname.

A highly satisfied, almost triumphant smile graced her face.

“Kamiki Shirogane…” Kamiki whispered to himself.

He repeated the name in his mind a few times.

*Shirogane.

Pure silver.* Sharp, brilliant, and unbending.

The knowing, mysterious, and satisfied smile on Kamiki’s face grew even more pronounced.

“A fitting name,” Kamiki said, looking at Miyuki.

“Shirogane.

I like it.” “I find the name Ayanokoji quite agreeable as well,” Kiyone added.

Miyuki gave Matsuo a slight nod.

“Matsuo will hand over your new identification cards and all necessary documentation inside the vehicle.” “Understood, Miyuki-sama,” Matsuo replied, bowing ninety degrees once more.

When he raised his head, his warm, paternal expression returned.

“Everything is prepared, young master, young lady.” Kamiki nodded slightly and finally settled into the luxurious leather seat of the car.

Kiyone sat down right beside him, smoothing out her skirt and resting her mystery novel on her lap.

“A new name, a new life,” Kiyone said, turning toward Kamiki.

Her amber eyes danced with excitement.

“This game is getting better by the minute, Kamiki Shirogane-kun.” “We’re just getting started, Ayanokoji Kiyone,” Kamiki replied.

Matsuo closed the car door seamlessly and took his place in the driver’s seat.

Glancing at the two teenagers through the rearview mirror, he pulled two thick, elegant leather wallets from the glove compartment and handed them to the back.

“Here you are, Shirogane-sama, Ayanokoji-sama.

Your new identifications, bank cards, and all legal documents for the outside world are inside,” Matsuo said politely.

Kiyone immediately took one of the wallets, pulling out the glossy ID card to examine it.

As Kamiki spun his own card between his fingers, the car sped away into the silence of the mountain road, leaving the shadow of the White Room far behind.

Author’s Note: Since there are 4 of them, I’m thinking of placing each of them in a class.

Kamiki to class A, Yuki to class B, Shiro to class C, Kiyone to class D.

I can also put them all in one class if you want.

Write me your ideas.
