I am going to be honest with you, my precious readers.
I really need to show some results here so that I can honestly write with peace of mind.
I need to have at least one paid member, or I will be bogged down by something IRL.

PS—This is an early update just so everyone could see this note, because I really need it right now.
As I said, I am currently updating 3 chapters a day in there, so no one has to worry about getting the short stick.
-Chapter starts here-
“Magical beast, huh…” Silver murmured softly as he squinted his eyes from becoming more focused and serious.
‘That is something new!
Season one of the Danmachi anime that I watched did not mention anything like that!
‘ Silver thought with a slight urgency and alertness.
“That’s right, magical beast. Magical beast is also one of the main reasons why the deep ocean is so dangerous. Some magical beasts gained the ability to cast magic, some became more physically able, and some became gigantic, like most of those in the ocean. There is a common consensus, though; no magical beast seems to gain the ability to be as smart as us sentient beings. Maybe this is why the gods do not care about them very much, which is also why there is not much information about magical beasts. Magical beasts were also mostly categorized by strength and are vaguely divided into low-, mid-, and high-level magical beasts. Everyone only vaguely categorizes them because if they wanted something more concrete, they could just compare it to adventurer levels. No god bothers those magical beasts in the ocean because not one of them is stronger than that monster called the leviathan and also because those magical beasts never move away from their habitats. Most magical beasts are territorial creatures,” the hunter explained patiently and enthusiastically.
“Right!
You do not know yet, but this little guy in my pocket definitely has some magical beast blood.
Dire wolves are very strong themselves, and they live in groups, so it should be easy for them to take down some goblins.
Well, at least that merchant said that the lineage of this little one does have magical beast blood.
It’s a pity that magical beasts do not birth magical beasts; I do not know why, and having magical beast blood only increases the chances of becoming one.
I have not heard of any other effects other than that.
I do not want to gamble on this little guy’s life, after all.
We already treat this little guy as family, so if something happens to it, the first one to be worried would be my wife.
She said this little guy will grow with our child.
And if it really had direwolf blood, then it would definitely live longer than an ordinary dog.”
As the hunter made his lengthy explanation while stroking the nervous little guy in his pocket, the battle between the wolf and the goblin was about to come to an end.
“Do we do something?” Silver asked with squinted eyes as he focused most of his attention on the battle.
“We wait for one side to die, then we kill the other one still alive,” the hunter said as he observed with sharp, glinting eyes.
“Well, you kill the wolf. It is very obvious that the wolf will definitely win. Monsters might be the most ferocious creatures, but ferociousness does not directly translate to strength. Goblins are just too weak alone.”
“Alright,” Silver responded in affirmation as he got ready to shoot, going into his most relaxed shooting posture and starting to aim.
The wolf finally took the goblin down to the ground, lying down, and then it quickly broke the goblin’s neck with a strong bite. Get faster updates on g.com.
“Awooo-!”
Tood!
The wolf was shot in the head before it could even finish howling to declare its victory.
The mantis was stalking the cicada, unaware of the oriole behind.
A perfect presentation of the saying.
This is just how it is in the forest.
The law of the jungle is the most natural law of the world.
The goblin then dissipated quickly, leaving behind a piece of stone.
“Well… there is no drop item. It seems we are not that lucky. Haha!” The hunter joyfully said as he quickly grabbed the magic stone, looking at it with a bit of excitement.
“It does not matter though. A goblin’s drop item is not even as valuable as its magic stone, at least in our place that is. There is no one in the town who knows mixing, so no one would be able to use the drop item. All the town’s medicine is just ordinary products produced from herbs and other things. The town also does not have a healer, just an ordinary doctor. People usually buy the potions brought by merchants when they get injured, just low-level ones. But this thumb-sized magic stone is different. There are many magic stone devices in the town.”
“So how much will we get from that?” Silver asked curiously as he took care of the wolf carcasses, which had very little damage on their fur because the goblin only used a big branch as a weapon.
“I do not know much about the price of magic stones because I am poor, and I definitely haven’t used a magic stone device for my entire life up until now,” the hunter said self-mockingly.
“Well, it will definitely be at least more than a hundred. I heard some people in town say that this price is already the lowest one.”
“Yeah, me too. I also never used a magic stone device before,” Silver commented with an equally self-mocking smile.
“I also heard something like that. Well… Goblins should be the weakest monster in the dungeon, right? So, it should be right to have the lowest price, I guess. Let’s go! I’m done here for the day. What about you, brother hunter? Are you staying longer to hunt more? As for this wolf, I should just bring it back to old Butch too so you can just get your share later when you come back.”
“Oh! Alright, you go. I am still going to continue hunting here. Right, here, take this magic stone too. This thing is too small; I might just drop it by accident. That would be a huge loss. Just take it to Old Butch; he should also have a way to get rid of this thing.”
“Alright, stay safe,” Silver said as he waved goodbye after fitting the wolf carcass into his basket and carrying it on his back with a heft.
