“I managed to make basic spear skills into body reflex together with javelin throwing, and also the mind palace was just completed a moment ago.

In just three months!

“Silver muttered repeatedly to himself as he really could not believe it himself.

“It must be because of that phenomenon that I discovered while building my mind palace. My learning speed started accelerating as I got halfway through my efforts in building my mind palace. I might not be as good as Bell’s aunt, Alfia, but I should be better than most people just in terms of learning speed.”

‘Now I am going to start my learning montage!

‘ Silver cockily with a grin.

– two days later –

Clang!

Clang!

Metal collision sounds can be heard loudly coming from inside a simple smithy with a very hot temperature.

Two figures are currently busy about in front of the burning-hot furnace.

“You know, kid, I am actually not called Old Smith because I am a blacksmith,” an old man suddenly blubbered as he breathed deeply while assisting from the side.

“I am called that because I have a surname, and my surname is Smith! As for how I got it, it was my great-grandfather who greatly contributed to building our port town. No blacksmith would want to be too far away from civilization because they would not be able to use their skills in that kind of situation. But my great-grandfather wanted to establish himself, so he came here with nothing but his smithing skills and a hammer! ”

“Uuggghh!

Old Smith!

Can you please stop it already? Read this novel at g.com for the best experience.

You have been telling me this since yesterday!

This is only the second day since I’ve known you, and I am already this annoyed!

You must be doing this on purpose because your kid did not want to inherit your skills, so you are alone, right?

“Silver shouted in so much frustration that he even stopped hitting the raw metal on the anvil, and then he pursed his lips as he stopped because he saw the sad look on Old Smith’s face. ‘Alright, I’m sorry for being rude, Old Smith. Sigh… It’s just that, if you want to talk about something, can you please not talk about a topic again and again? You have been talking about this topic so many times that I could not even remember the exact number of times, and I have a very good memory! ”

The old man just snorted before saying, “Alright, brat! I will forgive you because you listened to me ramble on and on for the longest time. Hmph!”

“Alright, old Smight,” Silver said with an eye roll as he thought of the fact that he only endured listening because he was learning the old man’s skills.

“You only want to have some of your blood to inherit this old smithy of yours, right? Well… I think I have a way.”

As he spoke, Silver continued hitting his metal while Old Smith also continued pumping the air-blowing device to assist.

“You have a way?!” The old man exclaimed, but then he snorted again.

“I don’t think it’s going to work. My son has already gone to be his man of the sea.”

“Who said it had to be your son?” Silver retorted with a snort.

“I don’t have any other relatives, and I only have one child, you brat!” The old man said with irritation.

“What about a grandson?!” Silver asked loudly as he stopped hammering to check the metal.

He had already learned everything that old Smith could teach, which was really just the basics for making simple metal tools.

He even knows more from the scattered information from his memories of his previous life about steel smelting and smithing that he watched on various videos and shorts.

“Grandson?! Damn it! That’s right! I don’t need that ungrateful brat at all! I will just teach my grandson!” Old Smith said loudly with an excited look as he smiled joyfully.

Although Old Smith is called old and Silver even calls him old man,e truth is, Old Smith is just in his late 30s.

Everyone just started calling him that when he finally fully inherited this old smithy when his own old father died because his own father was called that before him.

This is the only smithy in the port town because the needs for metal tools are not great.

The nickname ‘Old Smith’ can be considered a title for someone who inherited this old smithy.

“You can also urge your son to have more kids. If his wife can’t handle more births, then have him get another wife! As long as there are more children, there will definitely be at least one who inherits this old business of yours, right? ”

“Good! Great! That’s right! As long as I have more grandsons, someone will always inherit this place! Your idea is great, kid! ” The old man said excitedly.

“Wait, that would be unfair to my daughter-in-law. She is a good wife and mother, so I don’t want to wrong her.”

Clang!

Clang!

The metal colliding sounds kept ringing as they talked.

“Your son is a man of the sea, so he must not be always at home, right?

She must need someone to help her.

You can also plead to her that you really need someone to inherit your family legacy.

She could also ask a frifriend if had one who needed someone to rely on.

Besides, the sea is so dangerous.

Making your son have more wives to have more children is definitely something that had to be done.

What if something happens, right?!

It is just right to have more descendants in your family, isn’t it?

“Silver eloquently handed out various valid reasons as he fished out what he was working on from the quenching water. ‘Here, old man, look at this.'”

“Alright, I will follow what you said,” Old Smith said before wearing protective gloves to take the metal piece.

“It seems to be good?”
