A new chapter is up.

Come in, get comfortable, and let’s see what kind of trouble waits this time ❤️ ✦ What did the gods love most?

To any other Familia, that makes him an enormous investment waiting to mature.” “The moment those people realize he has only just started, they may be desperate enough to launch a War Game against you.” Hephaestus raised a hand to her forehead.

In her mind, she could already picture the gods outside forcing their way in.

Even if they did not know Nolan’s true ability, the scene outside was enough for them to understand one thing.

This child was absurd.

They were going to fight over him until someone bled.

“No.” “He is my first child.

I finally have someone in my Familia.

How could I let anyone steal him?” Hestia was the first to cling to Nolan.

This was her Familia.

After finally finding one child of her own, watching someone else take him away would be enough to make her die of anger.

Nolan looked down at Hestia hanging from him.

At barely four feet seven, Hestia looked tiny against Nolan, clinging to him like a koala wrapped around a giant toy.

He genuinely enjoyed being held like this by a beautiful woman.

Unfortunately, the situation did not allow him to enjoy it.

“What if I go home for now and wait until things calm down?” Nolan offered the idea.

He had only come here to awaken his potential.

Somehow, he had triggered the equivalent of a citywide alert and turned himself into everyone’s target.

He knew what gods were like.

Beings who had lived for who knew how many ages could come up with any bizarre stunt imaginable.

If that was the case, going home first and regrouping sounded better.

“That’s right.

We can go home.” Hestia had been anxious, but the moment she heard Nolan mention going home, her heart leaped.

Home.

Which home?

What other home could it be?

Of course it meant the place where Nolan lived in his own world.

The thought that he could go back, and that she might be able to follow him there, made her excitement nearly fly out of her chest.

‘Yes.

Home.

We’re going home.’ ‘Another world, here I come.’ Hestia was so excited the corners of her mouth were already rising.

Unfortunately for her, Hephaestus knew her far too well.

Seeing the excitement that her divine friend could no longer hide, Hephaestus reached out and clamped a hand down on Hestia’s head.

“Hey.

Where do you think you’re going?” Hephaestus stared at Hestia, who was clearly preparing to run away from the battlefield and leave the aftermath to her.

“Were you planning to dump this mess on me?” “If you have the nerve to run, you had better have the nerve never to come back.

The moment I see you again, I will expose everything.” Hephaestus was so angry she almost ground her teeth.

Of course Hestia would take all the benefits.

Then, when trouble came, she would leave it behind for someone else.

That was low even by divine standards.

“And you.” “Were you seriously thinking of running too?

Are you even going to try to be an adventurer properly?” “If you have any sense at all, sit down and stay here.” Hephaestus would never let her own Familia be dragged into danger over this.

The problem had started because of Nolan, so Nolan had to help solve it.

Nolan sat back down.

“Yes.” He immediately reined himself in.

He was not the type of person who ignored common sense.

As someone who had grown up in a peaceful modern society, he was still used to listening when an elder scolded him.

Seeing that Nolan obediently stayed put, Hephaestus felt slightly more satisfied.

‘He really does seem like a child from a peaceful country.

His presence and behavior are completely different.’ Not everyone could read.

Not everyone understood civilization.

Among adventurers, seven out of ten were illiterate.

Without Falna, some of them might not even know how to write their own names.

Nolan’s movements were polite.

He carried a strong sense of restraint and embarrassment, like someone uneasy in an unfamiliar place.

He was an adult, but compared with the young people of Orario, he seemed even less hardened.

That attitude, the ability to actually listen, was exactly why Hephaestus felt Nolan could still be shaped.

“Nolan.

From now until this meeting is over, you are not allowed to have any conversation with the other gods.” Hephaestus spoke seriously.

“Wait.

Nolan does not speak this world’s language.” “Even if he opens his mouth a little, they will notice.” Hestia interrupted Hephaestus and pointed out the most fatal problem.

Nolan’s language belonged to a civilization completely separate from this world.

Unless divine authority stepped in, no one here could understand him at all.

“Then keep him beside you and handle it yourself.” Hephaestus thought for a moment, then decided to leave that part to Hestia.

Then she continued.

“We cannot hide him forever.

If Nolan wants to live in Orario, he will eventually have to interact with other people.

It is better to present him openly.” “Nolan, with your ability, this world is likely the first world you have experienced.

You will probably stay here for a while.” Hephaestus understood that Nolan’s future path would not stop in this world forever.

For now, however, he was almost certainly going to remain here.

If so, staying in Orario and slowly learning could be worthwhile in its own way.

“I understand.” Nolan thought about it.

He realized Hephaestus was right about his current situation.

He could not simply remain in his original world forever.

With a power like the World Gate in his hands, how could he ever sit still?

His curiosity would gnaw at him.

In the future, he was certain to visit even more worlds.

“Good.” Hephaestus was about to give him more instructions when Tsubaki Collbrande’s voice came from outside.

“Lady Hephaestus, I cannot hold them back much longer.” “Please hurry!” Tsubaki deliberately shouted as if she were already losing control of the situation.

The gods outside were probably close to tearing each other apart.

If Hephaestus did not come out soon, Tsubaki really would not be able to stop them.

Of course, her shout had another purpose too.

It was a warning.

Hephaestus heard the reminder from her child.

“I will handle it.” She sighed.

Those people had completely run out of patience.

If not for the strength of the Hephaestus Familia, they would probably have forced their way in already.

“You two wait here.” Hephaestus stood and walked out.

The moment she pushed the door open, noise spilled in from outside.

Even with the room’s soundproofing, it could not block out that many gods.

They were jumping around like a crowd of lunatics, as if they were about to tear the place apart.

CREATORS’ THOUGHTS AuroraVale Thank you for reading.
