More than sixteen years had passed since Naruto faced Olympus. The reconstruction of the town didn't take long. Although few people knew it, the technology on the island was more advanced than anything the outside world had. However, the Amazons had little interest in it, as they were very attached to their traditions. But that had changed, and they had now become more modern, at least in their architecture and other luxuries that made their lives easier.
At the Uzumaki household, we see a relaxed Naruto meditating. He hadn't changed in the slightest. He was now thirty-seven years old but didn't look a day over twenty. Taking a deep breath, the blond relaxed in his garden, which was full of life. However, a shadow moved around him.
Hundreds of kunai appeared out of nowhere, but the blond calmly stood up and took his stance. "Kaiten!" Spinning around on his own axis, a dome of yellow chakra surrounded him. All the weapons bounced off the shield. As he stopped spinning, the Uzumaki still had his eyes closed. Moving to the side, he dodged a sword thrust, grabbed his attacker's wrist, and threw her to the ground.
"Ow, Oto-san!" complained the attacker, who turned out to be a fifteen-year-old girl with white hair and several red streaks scattered throughout it. Her eyes were blue, and her skin was pale compared to the Uzumaki's. She had an hourglass figure. The girl wore orange shorts, a black T-shirt with the red spiral symbol of the Uzumaki clan, and finally, an orange jacket that was a little too big for her. (Naruto's orange-and-black jacket from Shippuden)
"Not bad, Mito-chan, but you still have a long way to go," the Uzumaki said in an amused tone as he patted the girl's head, messing up her hair. The teenager simply smiled at this. Sitting down, the two enjoyed the peace of the garden. The blond could only smile as he looked at his daughter, Mito Uzumaki. She was named after one of the great shinobi and a leader of the Uzumaki clan, her great-great-grandmother, Mito Uzumaki.
"Oto-san, is Diana-nee coming today?" the teenager asked as she looked at the sky. At the mention of that name, the blond made a sad face. Several years had already passed since the Amazon princess left for the outside world to help humanity. Her visits to the island used to be frequent, but not so much during the last two years. Whenever she did come, she spent a lot of time with his daughter or her mother. The blond barely had a chance to talk to his student, who was now a recognized heroine in the world, leaving her with little time to spend with him.
"Yes... In fact, she's coming to see you. Apparently, she has a surprise for you," the blond answered calmly. Slowly, the two stood up and headed into their home. The shinobi went to the kitchen to prepare something for lunch. As he passed through the living room, he noticed a photograph.
It was Persephone. The Amazon was standing in front of the Uzumaki's current house. Her belly was swollen, showing that she was pregnant. Beside her stood Naruto, lovingly holding the woman in his arms. Years had already passed since his wife died. Giving birth to Mito had been something the white-haired woman's body couldn't withstand, and it was also the day Naruto felt completely useless. He tried to use his sun mark to heal her, but it didn't work. She simply died.
Apparently, it couldn't cure illnesses, or at least that was what he thought. The death of his beloved had affected him, but he now had a daughter and shouldn't dwell on it. Of course, he had received support from all the Amazons on the island, who supported him and helped raise Mito. Coming out of his thoughts, Naruto served the food at the table. The two Uzumakis sat down and began eating.
"Dad," said the teenager, who had finished eating. She nervously looked at her father, who gave her a curious look. "Diana-nee told me she would take me to the outside world." Silence fell over the kitchen.
"I see... Well, have a good time. You remember our talk, right?" he said with a smile as he began picking up the plates. Before the girl could respond, they heard something outside the house. Confused, the blond went outside and saw a strange jet/spaceship. Its lower doors opened, and Diana stepped out. She wore her usual red and blue outfit, with her lasso at her waist and a sword on the other side.
"Wow, nice place." Behind the Amazon, a yellow blur appeared and moved all over the place at an impressive speed. Another was a black-haired young man wearing a black T-shirt with a red S on the front. There was also a boy wearing strange clothes and a mask that covered his eyes. The last boy had dark skin and white hair. Strangely, he had gills on his neck.
"Yeah, it's amazing." Curious, the Uzumaki noticed a flying teenage girl with green skin and orange hair. She was looking around excitedly, especially at his garden. Following her, a blond girl dressed in green finally appeared. The teenager carried a bow as her weapon. Before the Uzumaki could say anything, his daughter nervously came out of the house.
"Hi, guys," the white-haired girl greeted them as she walked over to stand in front of the strangely dressed teenagers. Turning around, she saw the stern expression on her father's face. "Oto-san, I—"
"Diana." Ignoring his daughter, the Uzumaki looked sternly at his student, who had a serious expression. "I thought I told you not to drag her into your stupid game of playing heroes," he said in a serious tone as he crossed his arms. These words made all the teenagers look at him, and their reactions were immediate.
"What do you mean, playing heroes?" Superboy repeated as he stepped in front of the shinobi, who ignored him. "Hey—" Before he could continue, the shinobi sent him flying with a simple flick of his fingers against the brat's forehead. All the teenagers watched in disbelief as their strongest friend, in terms of brute strength, went flying all the way into the sea.
"I didn't force her into anything. She made this important decision herself," Diana said as she stepped in front of her sensei, who frowned at his student.
"Maybe... but you filled her head with stupid dreams about this hero business..." Taking a deep breath, the blond tried to calm himself. This time, with a more hurt expression, he looked at Diana again. "I asked you not to involve her in this," he said in a low voice.
"I know... but she has so much potential and the spirit for this. If you only knew everything she's done, you'd be proud of her," the Amazon replied, looking regretful.
"I am proud of her, but I don't want her to be part of this." Looking away from his student, he walked toward his daughter, who was surrounded by her friends. "You're staying here," he scolded, pointing at his daughter, who lowered her head.
"But—" Before she could argue, she fell silent under the shinobi's gaze.
"Wait, she has the right to choose what she wants to do." The Uzumaki looked at the flying green-skinned girl, who stood in front of him. "She's a great friend. As her father, you should care about her happiness."
"And her safety," Naruto replied quickly as he continued walking, passing right by Miss Martian. "If I'd known you were going out to do something this stupid, I never would've let you leave," the Uzumaki said harshly as he walked toward his home. However, he stopped when he heard heavy footsteps. Moving at supersonic speed, Superboy tried to knock him down with a right-handed punch, but in the next instant, he found himself being held by the throat.
"Hey, let him go!" Artemis shouted as she fired several arrows at the Uzumaki, who caught them all with his free arm. Crushing them in his hand, he looked at the blonde, who stepped back to fire more arrows. However, she was surprised when her bow was broken by a kunai thrown by the shinobi. Meanwhile, Aqualad saw the Kryptonian beginning to turn pale from lack of air and attacked with his water swords.
But he didn't get far before Superboy's body was thrown at him, knocking him down. Naruto stood with his arms crossed, but suddenly raised his right leg and struck Kid Flash, who had tried to punch him. Without hesitation, he grabbed the speedster by the head and slammed him into Robin, who was trying to attack him from above with his metal staff.
"Stop..." Megan whispered as she rose from the ground as if she were a ghost. Using her telepathic powers, she hoped to stop her friend's father, but was surprised to see that he wasn't affected. The alien didn't expect the faint glow in Naruto's eyes. In the next instant, she fell asleep.
"Father, stop!" Mito shouted as she pointed her sword at her father. Tears could be seen in her eyes as the girl looked at him angrily. "I want to be out there helping people! I don't want to spend my whole life here as an Amazon or a shinobi who just stays here doing nothing! I want to save the world as a hero!" she shouted with determination. Naruto's only response was a serious look.
"Your mother and I lived that way, and we were happy... I'm sorry you're not." With those words, he turned his back on the white-haired girl and walked toward his home. Without another word, he entered the house and closed the door. Still holding her sword, Mito lowered her head. She slowly walked toward the ship, followed by the defeated teenage heroes. Meanwhile, Diana looked at the door of her sensei's house for a moment. Sighing, she walked toward the ship and went inside as well.
