The wind blew gently across Paradise Island, where everything continued as usual. The women went about their respective duties, but at the Uzumaki residence, everything looked gloomy. Outside the house stood Hippolyta, Antiope, Artemis, and Alexis. The four women were worried about the blond. A month had already passed since Mito left with Diana, and she had never returned.
"We haven't seen him in two weeks..." the Queen said worriedly as she knelt down to gently touch one of the many flowers in the Uzumaki's beautiful garden.
"Then we'll get him out." With those words, Antiope walked toward the house and kicked the door, knocking it down. The other women followed her inside. Everything was dark and gloomy, but they quickly noticed the terrible smell. The Amazon general immediately went to the windows and opened them.
"How disgusting," Artemis commented as she covered her nose and frowned. There were several dirty dishes and unwashed clothes scattered around. Walking through the house, she couldn't find the shinobi, which puzzled the Amazons. After several minutes, they finally went to the Uzumaki's bedroom.
"Naruto?" Alexis called uncertainly as she noticed a shadow in the middle of the room. Everything was dark. Approaching one of the bedroom windows, she opened it, letting the sunlight enter. The women were surprised to see Naruto sitting in a chair, staring blankly into space. His eyes had an empty look, he was dirty, and he looked tired. He had even grown a short, unkempt beard.
"..." Calmly, the shinobi looked at everyone present. Lowering his head, he looked at a photograph in his hands. It showed him with a young Mito. Letting the photograph fall, he looked up at the ceiling. "Please leave," the blond simply asked, refusing to look at any of them.
"What happened to you?" Hippolyta asked, looking at the blond with pity. It was strange to see the usually cheerful and optimistic Uzumaki in such a state. However, her question went unanswered. The Queen frowned. "Why are you doing this to yourself?" Once again, she was met with silence.
"You're wasting your time," came the words that made all the women turn to see Kurama standing at the window. He had a serious expression as he looked at the shinobi. "Ever since that insolent brat left, he's just been sitting there... wondering where he went wrong..." Sighing, the Bijuu simply shook his head. "Apparently, he's done something I never thought he'd do... give up," the tailed beast finished before turning into chakra and reentering the Uzumaki. He wanted to rest. He couldn't stay outside the shinobi for more than a month.
"I hardly recognize you." Antiope roughly pulled Naruto out of his chair. Holding him up, she looked him in the eyes. "Are you worried about your daughter?" That question made the blond react, and he looked at the woman seriously.
"YES..."
"Then what are you doing here?"
"You don't understand... Whenever I get involved, something worse comes along. Power attracts those with the power to challenge it. If I show myself, someone will come, and maybe even I won't be able to stop them."
"And since when has that ever stopped you? You stopped and killed the gods who were going to cause chaos in the world." Lowering the Uzumaki, the Amazon held him by the shoulders and looked at him. "You've already saved this island... You can save the world."
"You know I don't agree with the rules of this new world. If I follow my principles here, I'll be pursued and hunted by the very heroes themselves."
"So what? You're not alone, Naruto. I know you won't stop villains just to send them to prison like Diana does. No, you'll do what should have been done a long time ago..." The Amazon gently hugged the blond. "...You're not alone. If you need us, you know where we are." After they separated, the blond walked across his room. Going to a corner of the room, he broke through the floor and took out a small box.
All the Amazons watched as the shinobi took out a dark headband with a metal plate. He looked at it for a moment before putting it on. Sighing with a tired smile, the Uzumaki stood up. "I think I've had more than enough peace and quiet for a while... It's time to return! Watch out, world! Naruto Uzumaki, the number one knucklehead ninja, is back!" Without thinking twice, the blond jumped through the window, breaking it.
"Take a bath first, idiot!" Artemis's shout could be heard across the entire island.
………
It was dawn. In the middle of the sea, a boat could be seen. Inside the small boat, we see an adult blond man rowing. In front of him was his inseparable companion, Kurama, who had a huge, strange grin on his face that made the blond uncomfortable.
"What's wrong with you?" the shinobi asked as he continued rowing. As for why they were traveling in a small boat when there were so many other ways to travel, well, the Uzumaki preferred this method. Besides, he wasn't particularly excited about reaching the outside world.
"I never thought that the stupid brat who used to shout nonsense would end up doing something like this..." The Uzumaki smiled at his words. Had he really changed that much? However, he was still confused when the Bijuu's grin only grew wider. "Having sex with four women at once as a farewell to the island!" The oar he was using almost slipped from his hands.
"What did I tell you about spying, you damn furball?!" the shinobi shouted as he tried to get rid of the blush on his face. However, his complaint went unheard. Instead, all he heard was the animal's mocking laughter.
"Spying? Idiot, everyone on the island heard the screams and moans coming from the house... I never thought I'd feel so proud. You've exceeded my expectations!" Kurama said, laughing mockingly as he wiped away a fake tear while showing how proud he was of his companion. However, it didn't last long, as he had to duck to avoid the oar that almost knocked him out of the boat.
"Just shut up..." It had already been a week since Naruto came out of his depressed state. After putting things in order, shaving, and getting himself ready, he decided to take a step forward and leave the island. He prepared everything he needed and got ready to depart, but he received a farewell surprise from Hippolyta, Artemis, Antiope, and Alexis.
And well, after spending almost an entire day without seeing sunlight, he finally left, leaving behind four happy and satisfied Amazons. It had been a few hours since he departed from the island. Now, his goal was to reach the outside world and see just how bad things were. Joining Diana and his daughter wasn't something he had in mind. He had to respect the ideals of his student and daughter.
Sighing, he continued rowing. As the hours passed, he came across several boats, whether they were fishing boats or simply wealthy people aboard large yachts. Shrugging, he continued rowing. When he saw a large green statue of a woman, he raised an eyebrow. Apparently, he had reached some city in America, if he wasn't mistaken. Rowing toward a port, he finally arrived. With a jump, he took a deep breath. Well, here he was.
