Exactly ten days had passed since I transmigrated into this world.

I was sitting in a wooden chair in the middle of the farm’s backyard, carefully holding Brandon and John in my arms.

The two babies were unusually calm, their large eyes fixed on the spectacle of lights and thunderous impacts unfolding right in front of us.Full novel: DC: Reincarnated with the Superboy Template — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

About fifty meters away, the air vibrated with a terrifying violence.

Two figures, one blonde and the other black-haired, moved at speeds that defied the laws of physics.

Their bodies were barely blurry streaks as they clashed against each other, generating shockwaves that made the leaves of the nearby trees tremble.

Superwoman spun through the air, throwing a punch directly at Power Girl’s face.

The blow carried enough force to split a mountain, but Karen reacted in time, blocking the impact with her crossed forearms.

The collision sounded like a dry clap of thunder.

The resulting shockwave kicked up a curtain of dust and grass around them.

Without wasting a second, Karen used the momentum to launch a spinning kick, which Laurel dodged by rising a few meters into the air, allowing her opponent’s foot to slice cleanly through the wind.

“Tsk…

not bad,” I murmured in amazement, adjusting the babies on my lap.

From the very first day we set foot on this planet, both the girls and I had awakened our powers immediately.

It only took us a couple of hours to adapt to our new strength, speed, and the overwhelming flood of super senses under the constant radiation of Earth’s yellow sun.

The sparring match came to an end when the two women separated with a leap, floating a few inches above the ground, their breathing barely altered and competitive looks in their eyes.

In perfect synchronization, the two beautiful Kryptonians turned toward me, crossing their arms as they waited to see what I would decide for the next round.

It was my turn to train.

“Well…

I’ll fight Laurel,” I said timidly, scratching the back of my neck as I carefully set the two babies down on a padded blanket spread across the grass.

To be honest, I didn’t really care which one I fought.

I had a feeling that no matter which of the two I chose, I was going to lose anyway.

And, as it turned out…

I wasn’t wrong.

A few minutes later, I was lying flat on my back at the bottom of a small crater, staring at the blue sky while my mind spun and every inch of my body ached.

Although ROB had given me flight, heat vision, and had unlocked my tactile telekinesis ahead of time, my complete lack of real combat experience made me easy prey against two seasoned Kryptonian warriors.

Laurel floated gently down to the edge of the crater.

She looked at me with a warm, compassionate smile and extended a hand to help me up.

“Don’t worry,” Laurel reassured me sweetly as she pulled me to my feet.

“Since you arrived here first, and compared to the primitive humans on this planet, everyone is far too weak.

So it’s only natural that you neglected your military training a little.

You just need some practice—you’ll be fine very soon.”

“Sure…,” I muttered under my breath, brushing the dirt off my pants and forcing a smile.

After cleaning up the mess in the yard, I returned to the rocking chair on the porch.

As I watched Karen trying to make funny faces at baby Homelander, who stared back at her with complete indifference, my thoughts drifted back to the events of the past week.

During those ten days, I had used my free time to casually visit our neighbor, Mr.

Jonathan Kent.

I went under the pretense of borrowing farming tools and talking about local crops, but my real objective was investigation.

Thanks to those brief conversations on his porch, I had discovered something extremely interesting.

Apparently, Jonathan and Martha were still living their quiet routine as a childless couple.

There were no hidden spaceships in their barn, nor any miracle baby secretly adopted.

The Superman of this world had not yet arrived on Earth.

I stared toward the horizon, where the sun was slowly sinking behind the hills of Smallville, illuminating the endless cornfields.

‘I wonder when he’ll arrive…,’ Conner thought, feeling a mixture of anticipation and mystery in his chest.

‘Maybe the meteor shower isn’t far off.

Just in case, I need to be prepared for the day our little Superman arrives along with the meteor shower.’

Zap!

Suddenly, the blazing flash of several red beams startled Conner.

The heat grazed the porch and scorched one of the wooden railings.

When he looked in that direction, his expression immediately darkened.

Sure enough, it was little John.

Baby Homelander had just fired a couple of laser beams completely at random from his eyes.

Curiously, nobody on the porch seemed surprised by the dangerous incident.

After all, Conner was already fully aware of the child’s potential, and the girls had witnessed his peculiar abilities in the crib some time ago.

“Sometimes I wonder why his powers are the same as ours,” Karen joked, while her own eyes briefly glowed with a threatening red light, amused by the infant’s imitation.

“Do you think he’s a little Kryptonian fathered by one of our explorers who visited Earth in the past?” Laurel casually commented, also joking as she crossed her arms.

“Who knows…

or maybe he’s actually one of Conner’s lost children,” Karen continued, throwing me a playful look full of hidden intentions.

Conner rolled his eyes, having absolutely no intention of paying attention to the blonde’s teasing.

He shifted his gaze toward the other baby, Brandon, who was resting peacefully.

Although little Brightburn had yet to manifest his own alien powers, Conner knew that sooner or later he would.

“Well, we need to keep John away from the other one so he doesn’t accidentally hurt him with those burning eyes,” Karen continued, picking little John up in her arms as he looked at her curiously.

“Well, then John can sleep with you tonight,” Conner immediately suggested, taking the opportunity to organize the household logistics.

Then he turned to Laurel and added, “And Brandon can sleep with Laurel…”

Although during the first few days the girls had been very direct about having children of their own and the supposed “divine mission of repopulating the species,” Conner had decided to employ the old reliable tactic of pretending not to notice.

He acted as if he had never heard that conversation about the hundred women, and fortunately, the girls had not brought up the subject aggressively again during the past week.

Thanks to that, the three of them slept peacefully in separate rooms.

As for the children, during those first ten days they had taken turns making sure the babies slept under the supervision of one of the three adults each night.
