It was so delicious she almost swallowed her own tongue.
Her heart filled with satisfaction. ’If I can eat what I want this often, and if my living conditions improve a bit more, then living in this Beast World wouldn’t be so bad.’
The two of them roasted piece after piece. They ate all the meat from the two Unicorns, but Bai Wanwan still felt it wasn’t enough.
Xin Feng noticed this. He smiled, stood up, and slowly went back into the cave to get another piece of meat, this one a perfect mix of fat and lean.
The Stone Knife seemed less clumsy in his hands now; the slices of meat he cut were surprisingly thin and even.

Every time Bai Wanwan was about to finish a piece, he would place another in front of her just in time, while also putting a new slice on to cook.
After eating for a while, Bai Wanwan finally noticed how smoothly he was handling everything and couldn’t help but give him a thumbs-up.

Xin Feng picked up a piece that had just changed color and placed it on the Stone Plate in front of her. The uninjured side of his face looked as gentle and smooth as jade.
"If there’s anything else you want to eat in the future, you can teach me. I’ll make it for you."
Bai Wanwan didn’t notice the tenderness that appeared in his eyes. She was too busy stuffing her face, nodding like a chicken pecking at grain.
Finally, when she was absolutely stuffed, she contentedly patted her bulging belly.

A huge smile spread across Bai Wanwan’s face as she stood up and walked in circles inside the stone cave.
For over ten days since arriving in the Beast World, she had dreamt of feasting on delicacies every night, drooling all over her pillow.
But waking up every morning to the sight of the bare stone cave left her with nothing but sorrow.
"If you like it, we can eat like this every day."
"Eating this every day will be too much. I need to find more ingredients so I can introduce you to all kinds of different foods."
The more Bai Wanwan talked, the more excited she became, her little mouth chattering nonstop.
Xin Feng didn’t dampen her spirits, chiming in from time to time with a curious question.
The two of them continued to chat in this harmonious way.
Finally, after her stomach felt less full, sleepiness began to set in.
Yawning, she forced herself to wash up. The icy water made her gasp.
"No way. Tomorrow, I have to use a stone basin to heat the water before washing."
