“The Demon Slayer Corps?
Too bad!
That attack posed no threat.
The wound will heal instantly!” The demon touched its neck, slashed by Shin, and said with a mocking expression.
Shin wasn’t surprised at all.
He was well aware of the demon’s regenerative abilities.
Ordinary weapons couldn’t kill them.
Only specialized weapons were needed, like the Nichirin Blade used by Giyu Tomioka.
Nichirin Blades were the weapons used by most Demon Slayer Corps members.
Only a few special Demon Slayers possessed unique weapons.
Shin’s Demon Slayer Sword was superior to the Nichirin Blade.
After all, it was a gift from the system, and even a freebie must have something special about it.
“Oh~ Is that so?” Shin feigned sudden realization.
Just as the demon was feeling incredibly smug and preparing to heal its neck wound, the next moment, the demon’s expression turned to horror and astonishment.
“What happened?
Why isn’t your wound healing?”
“I forgot to tell you, I have the ability to inhibit wound healing,” Shin said leisurely.
“Even if you’re a demon, a cut from my blade won’t heal instantly.”
“How is this possible!” The demon was shocked.
For a demon, this was not a good thing, because excessive blood loss meant that even if it didn’t die, it probably wouldn’t pose much of a threat.
Although its wound couldn’t heal now, the amount of blood loss posed no threat to it.
Soon, it noticed signs of healing in its wound, albeit very slowly.
However, compared to a human, this healing speed was still quite fast.
Upon discovering this, the demon immediately revealed its arrogant and mocking expression again, then said to Shin, “I was almost scared!
Although your blade has the ability to suppress wound healing, it only suppresses it.
I can feel my wound healing on its own.
It just needs some time.”
Hearing this, Shin didn’t show much surprise.
The Demon Slayer Sword’s characteristic was just as the demon said.
It only had a certain suppressive effect.
Faced with the demon’s own super-strong regenerative ability, the Demon Slayer Sword couldn’t completely prevent the wound from healing.
“So what?
My blade can hurt you, and it can certainly kill you!” Shin remained calm and coldly told the demon.
“You should know that my Demon Slayer Sword is already thirsting for blood!”
After speaking, the demon blood on the Demon Slayer Sword’s blade was instantly absorbed completely.
This was also a characteristic of the Demon Slayer Sword.
It could absorb demon blood.
The more it absorbed, the more lethal the Demon Slayer Sword became to demons, and its own characteristics would also be enhanced.
For example, its ability to suppress wound healing.
It now realized that the man before it was not someone to be trifled with.
The demon abruptly glanced around and immediately noticed Tanjiro standing at the entrance of the Buddhist hall.
Without hesitation, the demon shifted its target to Tanjiro.
The demon was incredibly fast.
Before Shin could catch up, the demon was already in front of Tanjiro, grabbing both Tanjiro and Nezuko by the throat and lifting them up.
The suffocating sensation brought Tanjiro back to his senses, but by then, any resistance was futile.
