The man who had tried to touch Zhuzhu was still clutching his shoulder, wincing in pain.

All three of them now stared sharply at the silhouette in the darkness, their steps slowly retreating without realizing it.

Show yourself if you dare!” their leader shouted, his voice trembling despite his attempt to sound fierce.

The figure stepped forward slowly.

The dim streetlight began to touch his face — yet his expression remained unreadable, cold and sharp as a blade.

“Leave… before I change where my next throw lands.” His voice was low, yet terrifyingly steady, carrying weight that made it clear this was no empty threat.

The three thugs exchanged glances.

Meeting that piercing gaze, they knew this was no ordinary person to mess with.

Without another word, they grabbed the bag they had stolen and fled in panic, disappearing into another dark alley.

Silence returned.

Only Zhuzhu’s heavy breathing could be heard in the quiet night.

The figure turned slowly toward her.

And in that moment, Zhuzhu stared in disbelief… THE CHALLENGE OF THE SAVIOR (part 2) Hearing those words, the three thugs did not fear — they grew even angrier.

One of them drew a gleaming dagger, its edge sharp under the dim light.

Another pulled out a gun, aiming it straight at the figure in the shadows.

“Don’t play the hero!” their leader shouted, waving his weapon.

“We have sharp blades… and this!

Do you want to die right now?!” Zhuzhu’s eyes widened in terror.

“Be careful!” she cried out softly.

But the savior did not flinch even slightly.

His gaze grew colder, sharper — as if those weapons meant nothing at all to him.

“I do not like repeating myself,” he said calmly, yet his voice carried a heavy, commanding weight.

“Let the girl go and leave… or you will regret it for the rest of your lives.” Impatient, one of the thugs lunged forward, swinging his knife straight at him!

THE FACE FROM THE DREAM(part 3) The leader of the thugs sneered.

“Hah?

Are you threatening us?!” The mysterious woman replied calmly, her voice soft yet unshakable.

“I am not threatening you.

If you let the girl go, I will not harm you.” “Arrogant creature!

Attack her!” their leader shouted.

Two thugs rushed forward, swinging their sharp weapons straight at her!

The woman did not run, did not step back for even a second.

Instead, she stepped forward slowly, and the moonlight finally fell fully upon her face.

Zhuzhu’s eyes widened in disbelief, her breath caught in her throat.

It was her!

The girl who had nearly been hit by a taxi just days ago!

And even more shocking… that face was exactly the same as the figure that had appeared in her dreams for all these years!

She wore a pristine white Hanfu, adorned with soft gradients of pale green.

The fabric billowed gently in the night wind as she stood, gazing at the three men with a calm look that radiated unimaginable power.

Zhuzhu stared, frozen, unable to blink.

She did not yet know this girl’s name — but deep in her heart, she felt as though she had known this person for a very, very long time…
