“Everyone, stay where you are!” said a man dressed in gear similar to military, except it was all black.
More of these individuals came in behind him, carrying better weapons and equipment.
The guards immediately lowered their weapons once they realized they were outmatched by the men in black.
While the supposed officer was speaking, Zak immediately looked away and thought: We have to escape these bastards… but how?
They’ve got better weapons and equipment.
There weren’t many exits.
It seemed like we really were going to have to listen and obey whatever these bastards ordered.
After watching for so long, Zak finally spotted another exit to the outside where everyone could escape… But what was the point?
There had to be even more of them out there.
Who knew how many of these guys there were?
Out of nowhere, the sound of something big moving and coordinated footsteps came from outside, until one of them shouted from out there: “Formation B!
Hurry up, soldiers, there are still civilians!” Gunshots followed right after.
Conveniently, it seemed the real soldiers had finally arrived.
In the room, the people who’d been scared before felt a little calmer.
There were even murmurs, but that didn’t last long before the man in black fired into the air, angry.
“Everyone shut up, now!” the furious man ordered as he signaled his men with his hand to watch outside.
After that, the men left the room, leaving him alone.
Zak couldn’t stop looking at the door that led to the outside.
But there was the risk that if everyone ran out, there would be a massacre killing civilians.
Something that wasn’t cool.
He turned his head to look at the guard, who also looked at him.
Both understood each other nodding.
They had drawn up a plan.
Without more, Zak sighed and finally spoke: “Hey, what is it you want from us?” Zak asked as the man turned to look at him.
“What do I want?
Now everyone follows us because this is a kidnapping, idiot!” the man responded while the guard approached discreetly.
“And what do you plan to do with us, huh?” Zak asked while the man simply laughed.
But in that instant of distraction that the guard took advantage of, he threw himself at the man beginning a struggle.
Zak, without hesitating, also threw himself.
Between both they managed to take the man out of the room while another guard moved a shelf toward the entrance, blocking the door again.
“Everyone get out now through the hatch!” the guard ordered while throwing his security card.
A family man caught it and opened the hatch to the outside, that for some reason had a lot of security.
After a moment, finally the last hatch began to open while the light of day was reflected from below these.
The people began to get out without wasting time, while Zak and the guard stayed holding the entrance of the room.
The door began to threaten to crumble while the men struggled from the other side.

“Open it, pieces of shit!
Wait until we manage to enter, we will quarter you one by one!” shouted the man from the other side of the door, clearly angry.
Zak and the guard were faltering under the pressure of the struggle.
“Shit!
If we keep like this they will enter and they will make filet of us” commented Zak while sweating, leaning against the shelf that was jamming the door.
“I know, hold on a little longer.
Maybe the military will arrive soon,” added the guard, who was also sweating cold at the idea of being left made filet.
Finally, all the civilians went out to the streets while people ran terrified toward the soldiers who were helping them.
“Help!
Help!” shouted a woman while she ran toward a group of military that was around the zone helping the civilians.
“What happens, miss?” asked the oldest military while calming the girl.
“There are two men holding an entire group of weird men with weapons and equipment in the supermarket warehouse!” explained the girl.
The soldiers, without wasting time, moved toward the location mentioned by the girl with a large group of personnel.
“Those bastards again…” muttered the oldest while more soldiers followed behind him holding their rifles, ready for action.
“Shit!
Hang on, old man, don’t faint yet!” Zak asked while faltering more and more, watching the guard who was almost unconscious.
“Go, kid!
Run, look for help!
I’ll be fine!” said the guard while he made more effort to keep his strength.
“I won’t let you die here!” Zak replied while he was sweating more.
“I’m old already, you’re still young!
Live your life, boy!” the old man insisted while he was making more force to keep the shelf against the entrance.
“What good is it for me to live in a shit world?
If I die, it will be with you.
Didn’t you hear the code of a man who never abandons another?” Zak declared while each time he seemed to lose more strength.
The situation didn’t seem to paint anything good for the two men.
But before it got worse…
“I won’t abandon him, sir Mitch!” a guard said while he was joining the resistance to keep the shelf.
“Me neither I will abandon you, sir!” said another guard that also was joining.
Three more guards arrived that leaned against the shelf while everyone was making force to keep it firm against the pressure.
Out of nowhere, an explosion crossed the door, making the shelf fly and that everyone shot out in different directions.
“Damned bastards!” the man said while in the smoke behind him more of them entered, clearly irritated.
But before they did something, one of the men was shot down and then another.
“Stop right there!” an old military ordered while at his sides the military moved with precision in direction toward the men in black, who without thinking twice opened fire at point-blank.
The guards dragged themselves across the floor avoiding the confrontation while the oldest guard was hit by a bullet.
“Sir!” said Zak dragging himself toward where the wounded guard was.
“Get out of here, kid!
This place is no longer safe!” the man ordered insisting for Zak to withdraw.
Zak didn’t respond and simply from the shoulder began to drag himself with the guard in the middle of the gunfire.
Finally both managed to get out to the exterior, where helicopters and tanks were already seen mobilizing.
A medical group immediately saw them and ran to assist them.
“He’s bad, a shot hit him” said Zak while the doctors helped the guard taking him in direction to the ambulance.
“Are you okay?” asked a doctor, a man of about 28 years with doctor coat and brown hair.
“Yes, I’m okay” responded Zak while he was following the doctors to make sure that the guard was okay.
Arriving at the ambulance, Zak saw how the guard was on a stretcher being attended by a doctor who took the bullet out skillfully to then begin to bandage him.
“If he had not arrived on time, he would have died” explained the doctor while he finished bandaging the guard.
“You did good, kid” he mentioned while the other got up to the ambulance.
“Thanks, kid” the guard thanked from the stretcher.
After that the door of the ambulance closed and it headed to the hospital.
Zak sighed relieved knowing that the guard was okay; otherwise, he would have carried the guilt of not having been able to do anything.
He walked through the streets while military moved through the zones affected by the descent.
He noticed how the people began to open their shops again and the affected shops were immediately reestablished with more security.
The affected products were brought by a truck that had the logo of a bird with a shield.
It was the insurance of the P.Q., an insurance that, if you had it and had suffered an attack in your shop or home, they backed you up.
Without a doubt, something similar to car or motorcycle insurance.
After a good while, Zak arrived at his building, he simply went up the stairs heading to his apartment.
Upon arriving, he took the keys out of his pocket and opened the door.
Once more, that vaguely familiar smell received him, but with a slight change because of the sweat he had on him.
“Wait…
Damn!
I forgot the groceries” said Zak angry while at that same moment his stomach growled from hunger.
“Hurry!
Catch them all!” ordered the voice of a military while more military moved following two men in black who ran through the aisles of the supermarket.
“Shit!
We should have left, idiot.
Now we have the whole army surrounding us.
On top of that they already took all our men” commented the angry man with what seemed to be his captain.
“Shut up and stop judging me!
Just run!” responded the man while they arrived at some stairs that led to the roof of the supermarket.
Both immediately went up the stairs while a helicopter was already waiting for them.
“Hurry up!” ordered a man while another at his side shot at the soldiers that were following them.
Both men jumped and arrived at the helicopter, which immediately began to rise.
With each turn of the propeller it shook the wind to finally disappear in the air.
“Shit!
They escaped…” spoke a soldier while behind more soldiers arrived at the place where the helicopter had been before.
“We have to notify the general” spoke another soldier.
While they were leaving, they stepped on something that sounded like a crack under the soldier’s boot.
“Eh?” said the soldier while he lowered his head and moved his boot slightly.
On the floor there was a kind of strange memory card with strange patterns and symbols.
“What did you find, friend?” asked another soldier while he looked in the direction where his companion was observing.
The soldier knelt on one knee, took the card in hand and stood up observing it with curiosity.
“What do you think it is?” asked the soldier.
“I don’t know, we have to take it to the general.
He will know what to do” said the other soldier while he scratched the back of his head.
“Good idea” agreed the soldier while he put the card in his pocket.
Finally, both soldiers left.
Inside the pocket, the card simply began to spark with some sparks of a strange purple color while the symbols blinked slightly until turning off…
