Queen Freja was what most people think of as a stunning work of art.

Her hair was perfectly cut and flowed with the wind coming through the open window.

Her elegant dress served some gratitude towards her well-kept figure elegantly.Full novel: Divine’s Infinity: Hell without severance — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

She could have been the most beautiful girl in the entire world.

But there could be other options that you and I don’t know about.

Rhys: [Whoa…]

He himself was taken aback by her immense beauty.

Not knowing how or what he felt about her.

Ms.

Hollow: [My pleasure of meeting you once again, your majesty.]

He quickly bowed her head, which made Rhys follow hastily in her footsteps.

Queen Freja: [Is that the dreaded angel that’s been circulating throughout the capital?]

Ms.

Hollow: [Indeed yes!

This is the Angel!

His name’s Mogi!]

Rhys gave a shaky and awkward wave.

Not knowing what to do against someone with such power is this world.

Rhys: [Hey… Your Majesty Freja!

I’m Mogi, and that’s Wolf!]

He pointed at Wolf, which made her stand out like a sore thumb.

In which was not something Wolf was too keen about.

Wolf: [Woof!]

Queen Freja looked the two of them over for a little while.

Each second dragging on and on, giving the impression that either of them might get tortured or killed for annoying her.

Rhys was sweating bullets after still being bent over for way too long.

Freja: [Oh, can you PLEASE stop bowing, Mogi!

Let me look at your face!]

He does so without a second thought.

Feeling as if she were staring into his soul.

Freja: [Wow… what an angel you are…]

Rhys: [Um… Thanks… could you please stop that though…]

Freja: [Y’know… you are the only angel that I’ve seen so close… every other one has been too dangerous for me to get near them.]

She then adjusted herself on her crystal throne.

Which really juxtaposed the rest of the calm, minimalist stone room.

Freja: [So, what have you come here for with the angel.

I only said to bring him into custody.]

Ms.

Hollow: [Well, why I brought him here, my Queen.

Is because I believe he’s the key towards the angel that has been terrorising our country for years!]

Freja: [Really… This one can beat Divine’s Wrath?

And you’re the strongest soldier I’ve even seen.

And even you can’t do it yourself.]

Rhys: Holy shit… how powerful is this chick?!

Ms.

Hollow: [I’ve witnessed firsthand the level of power that Mogi possesses.

And since we know he’s an angel, just like our problem.

Then that means we don’t know his actual potential…]

Rhys: ME?!

Freja: [Not every angel is the same.

Some are beautiful, some are hideous…]

Rhys felt the jab go through his heart.

Freja: [Some are weak, and some are more powerful than us normal people can understand.]

Rhys remembered how quick and how strong that thing was.

He remembered his bones and organs shattering from just a single punch to its face.

Ms.

They’re, for all intents and purposes, the same!]

They all listened.

Ms.

Hollow: [He is strong physically.

That much I can say.

And he has a rule that we don’t know about.

Which would help us massively!]

Queen Freja’s eyebrows squint for a second.

Ms.

Hollow: [Another reason for me coming here, your majesty.

Is to get permission to evacuate everyone in Svarda.]

Queen Freja: [That is something that you need to take up with the people, not me.]

Ms.

Hollow: [W… what?!]

Freja: [I’m not going to forcefully tell everyone to leave just so their homes and city can be destroyed.

That would ruin my image if I did such a thing.]

Ms.

Hollow: [C’mon your majesty!

I’m telling you this is important to my plan!]

Her demeanour was slowly shifting.

Freja: [Alright, where are the people supposed to stay?

In the wilderness?

No other city would be able to temporarily house everyone living there.]

Ms.

Hollow: [We could set up some sort of camp outside of the village!

That way the whiny pieces of trash can go and not bother anyone else!!]

She was getting more and more jittery by the minute.

Queen Freja: [I’m not going to sign off on this!

Not please leave my home immediately!

]

Ms.

Hollow was going to argue further, but she could feel the stares from both Rhys and Wolf pierce her face.

So she backed off.

Ms.

Hollow: [Godammit!

Freja!

Help me out here!!

I have it all figured out!

I swear!]

The tone she was showing off to the Queen of all people horrified Rhys.

Ms.

Hollow: What a fucking leader you are…

I could’ve just gone over there and delt with it myself if I wanted to…

What would any of you have done to stop me…

She left without another word.

With Rhys and Wolf following lately in tow.

Freja watched as they all went on with the rest of their days, and felt an aching feeling within her chest.

If only she could dream.

They make it out of the Ancestral Home and back onto the streets.

Ms.

Hollow seemed to be a lot more hollow than she was before, which somewhat made sense.

Rhys: [I thought…

He gives her a minute to answer; after a while, he stopped wishing he allowed it.

Ms.

Hollow: [Nope!

I thought my argument would work out!

But I guess not!]

Her tongue felt bitter and harsh.

Almost as if she was throwing around acidic vomit every time she opened her mouth beyond this point.

Rhys: [So…

what do we do now?

Where do we go?]

Ms.

Hollow: [Where do you think?

My house of course!]

Tom’s head turned quicker than light.

Rhys could feel his hatred and fear emanating from his eyes onto the back of his head.

Rhys: [Your house… why?]

Ms.

Hollow: [Because I have some personal things I need to discuss.

Now follow me so I can show you the place!]

Ms.

Hollow heads east, deeper into the crowds of citizens.

Rhys and Wolf both follow her once more from behind.

Tom could feel the jealousy tighten within his heart.

This emotion could be described as a hunger for closure and possibility.

Tom: Godammit!!!

His anger and jealousy rose quicker than one might imagine.

The other guards around him watched as his aura felt bitter and cold rather than the fear that he usually had.

Rhys and Ms.

Hollow quickly made it through the streets and alleyways of Solsidan.

They could both feel the pressure and fearful thoughts and feelings the people around had for the two.

Rhys’s blood boiled with the disrespect he was getting.

He so wanted to tell everyone around himself off for judging their plausible saviour.

Rhys: [Hey.

How much longer until we make it to your house.

Also, where did all of the guards go?]

Ms.

Hollow: [My house isn’t that far, and they usually stay around the Ancestral Home when we’re done with work.]

Rhys: [Wait.

You can just tell people when you’re done working.

Isn’t that a little weird?]

Ms.

Hollow: [Not when you’re as powerful a magic user as myself.

Around my rank, you have a lot more freedom than others.

Like serving right under the Queen.]

Rhys: [Are there more of you?]

Ms.

Hollow: [I’m a direct assistant, which means I can order whoever around while I’m working.

I can also be the Queen’s right hand if I choose.

I’m the direct assistant of Solsidan because I’m the most powerful of this nation.]

Rhys: [Jesus!

If you’re like this, then why not rule the country yourself?]

Ms.

Hollow: [Because I’m not fit for such a role on such a peaceful country.]

Ms.

Hollow was not wrong in the slightest.
