Seo Dohyeon layered his hand over Go Igyeol’s where it was wrapped around his belly and quickened the rhythm of his thrusts.

SMACK, SMACK.

The force with which he drove in was powerful enough to crush the flesh of Go Igyeol’s hips. Go Igyeol lowered his body and lifted his waist higher, changing the angle Seo Dohyeon was digging into him.Full novel: Divorce Contract — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

It was an instinctive movement.

“Nh, hngh, ah…! Hhk, ah—ah…!”

Seo Dohyeon gripped that slender waist, so thin it looked as if it might snap if he put just a little more strength into both hands, and his eyes gleamed dangerously as they filled with the sight of hair swaying, wet with sweat. A drop of sweat gathered on the bridge of his nose and slid down in a curve.

“Ha.”

“Nh, Seo Dohyeon, ah, wait, just a second. Hh, no.”

“I’m going to knot, so don’t move.”

“Please, please, hhk, no…!”

Go Igyeol reached a limp, strengthless hand behind himself and pushed at Seo Dohyeon, but it was already too late. The organ inside him swelled. Go Igyeol’s eyes flew wide, and his mouth fell open. Pain that even the pheromone shower could not deceive kept bringing tears to his eyes.

Seo Dohyeon covered Go Igyeol’s swollen lower belly with his hand and kissed his wet cheek. The sight of him begging not to be taken so deep today had made him dig into Go Igyeol’s body like a madman. Whether that ass was searching for an angle that did not hurt, or an angle that would let him in even a little less, Seo Dohyeon could not keep his head whenever it swayed in front of him.

“Does it hurt?”

“…Hh, nnh, it hurts… it hurts.”

“What are you going to do if you cry like this from the first day?”

“Just a little… make it not hurt….”

Seo Dohyeon silently stared at the face that turned back toward him, the corners of its eyes reddened as if they had been rubbed against the pillowcase, forgetting what he had been about to say. Go Igyeol, who had been wiping at his own face with trembling hands, sensed something strange and met Seo Dohyeon’s eyes.

“Why… why are you looking at me like that?”

“Making it not hurt will be difficult, Go Igyeol.”

“……”

“But I’ll try to be gentle, so don’t cry.”

Go Igyeol knew Seo Dohyeon, who was kind only during sex.

Especially during his rut, he became kinder than on other days. His tone, the way his hands touched him, the gaze that checked from time to time whether he was all right, and even the caresses that poured over him as if they might melt him.

Go Igyeol knew none of it was Seo Dohyeon’s sincerity, but an alpha’s instinct toward the partner he was knotting, so he told himself not to misunderstand, not to mistake it for something else, over and over in every moment.

Even then, it was not easy.

Whenever Go Igyeol faced Seo Dohyeon like this, it felt as if the ground beneath his feet were collapsing.

The kindness that did not push him away even if he reached out to be held or took Seo Dohyeon’s hand first, the warmth of lips meeting his softly, the hand that stroked his hair wet with sweat.

Even knowing none of it was sincere, his heart was helplessly wounded.

Because even while knowing it was not affection, but sexual desire, just as Seo Dohyeon said, Go Igyeol was giving his heart to Seo Dohyeon one space at a time.

*****

Seo Dohyeon’s rut, which had seemed as if it would never end, finally subsided.

Even with suppressant injections administered in between, the dominant alpha’s rut cycle had filled an entire week. Go Igyeol was certain it would have lasted longer if Seo Dohyeon had not used suppressants.

Go Igyeol blinked as he looked at the IV connected to his arm. He barely had any memory of leaving the bed. The only thing he remembered clearly was trying to eat while still holding Seo Dohyeon inside him, failing to continue properly, and crying beneath him.

“Haa…”

It felt as if someone had trampled all over his body, slowly and thoroughly, and even turning over was difficult.

By the way, what day was it?

It felt as if time had been cut away in chunks.

Go Igyeol tried not to, but he kept letting out sighs.

When he had first experienced a dominant alpha’s rut after getting married, he had thought everyone had sex like going to war.

Without time to rest, without time to eat, even human dignity laid aside, he had thought they simply mated like beasts.

After several repetitions, Go Igyeol sensed something was strange, and while receiving an IV one day, he suddenly searched the internet for information on dominant alpha ruts. Through the sea of information, he saw posts saying that a dominant alpha’s rut was sometimes handled by several omegas rather than one, or managed with medication, and he looked back on the sex they had been having.

Was Seo Dohyeon truly the sort of person who would bring in several omegas for his rut?

Go Igyeol shook his head.

At least the Seo Dohyeon he knew would never have an orgy with several people. If he were the sort of person who had relations with multiple omegas, he would have put that into the contract from the start.

If Go Igyeol left, Seo Dohyeon might call another omega to relieve his rut, but Go Igyeol could be certain that Seo Dohyeon would not call another omega into a rut he was spending with him.

When Seo Dohyeon was in rut, he became excessively sensitive, and once sex began, he behaved so sweetly that it felt as if he would melt the other person down and eat him.

As long as the contract continued, Go Igyeol did not want to share that side of him with anyone else.

His thoughts linked one after another, then snapped off at the buzzing vibration of his phone. Go Igyeol reached out and took the phone flashing with light into his hand.

「[Web Message]

(Appointment Notice)

Hello, Go Igyeol!

This is Wizmiz Obstetrics and Gynecology.

You have an appointment scheduled today at 11:00 a.m.

with Dr. Park Mikyung in obstetrics♥

Inquiries: 080-2023-1017」

Go Igyeol checked the text message and rubbed his eyes. He could not believe two weeks had already passed. His gaze grew anxious as he looked at the IV bag, still more than half full. Seo Dohyeon would not be home, right?

It was an enormous relief that he had not received a message like this while they were together. His hand shook as he deleted it.

He needed an excuse to go out, but nothing in particular came to mind.

That was when his phone vibrated briefly again.

「It’s Na Seonwoo. What are you doing today? Want to have lunch together if you have time? Is this too sudden?」

“Ah…”

The timing was good.

Seo Dohyeon knew that he had happened to meet a former college classmate, and that this person was Na Seunghee’s cousin. Even if Seo Dohyeon disliked Go Igyeol meeting anyone, this would be better than using an excuse about going out to meet a friend Seo Dohyeon did not know at all.

Go Igyeol hesitated for a moment, then sent Na Seonwoo a reply.

「No, lunch is fine. I’ll go near your office. What time should I be there?」

A reply came almost as soon as he sent the message.

「Oh, I was going to go to you. Then should we meet at 12? How about that bus stop from last time?」

「See you then.」

「I’ll buy you something good lol. There are so many great places around here. What do you like?」

Go Igyeol did not reply to Na Seonwoo anymore and pulled out the needle inserted into the crook of his arm. He pressed hard on the spot where a bead of blood had formed with an alcohol swab from the bedside table, then got out of bed.

Judging by how quiet it was outside, Seo Dohyeon did not seem to be home. Even so, Go Igyeol had to check.

Had he stepped away for a moment, or had he gone out entirely?

When he left the bedroom, he saw a laptop, a tablet, and several document files on the table in front of the sofa.

Had Seo Dohyeon been home and simply stepped out for a moment?

That would not be good.

Go Igyeol immediately turned back and headed for the bathroom attached to the bedroom. He checked his bloodless face in the mirror and washed for a long time in warm water.

He could not understand why Seo Dohyeon had not gone to work, and anxiety unsettled him.

Could he go out?

Would Seo Dohyeon believe him if he said it was fine?

That worried him.

But more than anything, the sharp, aching pain in his lower belly, which he had not been able to feel while lying down, frightened him.

He turned off the water, took out a dry towel, and wiped his wet body. He roughly shook the water from his hair and went straight into the dressing room.

To hide the red marks scattered over the nape of his neck, he put on a white cashmere turtleneck and light beige slacks. After even putting on thick socks, he checked the time.

The lack of any presence outside made him even more anxious.

The thought that it might be better to leave while Seo Dohyeon was gone even crossed his mind.

Go Igyeol pushed back his hair, still wet enough to leave heavy dampness on his hand, and pulled out the first coat he could grab.

When he came out of the dressing room, Seo Dohyeon, who must have entered at some point, was tidying up the bedside.

“Ah.”

“I thought you were simply washing.”

“…I have lunch plans with a friend. Since no one was here… If I’d known you were here, I would have postponed it.”

There was nothing sincere in his hesitant words.

Seo Dohyeon noticed it easily, checked his wet hair and cheeks flushed from the hot water, and nodded.

“Go and come back. You’ve been asking for nothing but pheromones for days, so if you couldn’t get up today either, I was waiting to take you to the hospital.”

“……”

“Let’s have dinner together.”

When Go Igyeol answered yes to that matter-of-fact voice, Seo Dohyeon turned and left without lingering. As if it were true that he had been about to go to work, he was dressed in a perfect suit.

Even after the bedroom door clicked shut, Go Igyeol did not move right away.

From beyond the door, he faintly heard the front door close.

The tension drained out of his body as if his strength had been cut loose, and he collapsed weakly.

“Hh, haa…”

Go Igyeol placed a hand near his heart, which was pounding as if it might leap out of his chest, and panted for breath before abruptly getting to his feet.

If he delayed any longer, he might be late for his hospital appointment.
