“Honey, This Is a Wake-up Call…”
Yun Zhixue sat on the bed, his knees pressed tightly together. He bowed his head, tugging at his white shirt in embarrassment.
His voice was thin and shy: “Is it really necessary to do this, System?”
The System coughed a few times. It did not want to, but the original host had contributed quite a lot of amusing material to the original plot. Everyone loved this kind of dynamic where the gong was cold and ruthless to others but melted like an iceberg in front of the shou. “Yes, the original plot is exactly like this. It says the host should strip off his clothes to seduce Qi Qian. However, I think as long as the effect is achieved, wearing a shirt will suffice.”
Even the System did not notice that it used to be eager to have the host follow the plot point by point, but now it was automatically finding loopholes for him.
At these words, Yun Zhixue’s slender, white fingers, which had been gripping the hem of his shirt tightly, loosened slightly. This allowed the taut fabric to ride up a bit, exposing his tender, tightly squeezed thighs. The skin, soft as cream, was bunched together, and the delicate inner thighs were faintly visible.
The plump, soft flesh on the inside of his thighs was pressed into a delicate curve, gleaming with a soft, moist luster under the light. Perhaps because he was pressing his legs so tightly together, the skin was flushed pink from the friction.
Even so, Yun Zhixue did not relax his legs. He squeezed them tightly, seemingly afraid that something might leak out.
Although Yun Zhixue relaxed a little, it was only a small amount. The idea of taking photos wearing only a shirt made him feel incredibly shy. How could he not even wear undergarments? With the hem wide open and the drafty feeling, it was strange. Moreover, he had to take these photos for Qi Qian.
The most critical part was that Qi Qian truly disliked him. Would Qi Qian think he was a pervert? Every time Yun Zhixue thought about sending the photos, imagining Qi Qian frowning with disgust and labeling him a massive pervert, he felt awkward.
However, things are all about comparison. The System’s words made him feel that wearing a shirt was not so bad. As long as he squeezed his legs tight and covered himself with his hands, no one would be able to tell.
Yun Zhixue lowered his head and covered his upper thighs with his hands, his palms resting near the triangular area, adding a touch of ambiguity to the scene. It looked as if someone were about to lift the shirt, and Yun Zhixue was hurriedly clamping his legs to hide it. It was a case of the more you try to hide, the more you reveal. It made people think this little boy really knew how to charm others.
But Yun Zhixue’s thoughts were innocent. He even felt a bit more at ease, believing that if he covered up, it would not be seen. He thought that from the photos, one would not guess he was not wearing underwear; they would probably just wonder why his shirt was so short.
Comforting himself this way, Yun Zhixue managed to convince himself. His thighs relaxed just a little, revealing a narrow gap.
He took out his phone, used his hand to provide some cover, and casually hit the shutter button, taking many shots.
After taking the photos, he immediately relaxed his thighs. His soft, supple flesh trembled, and he quickly covered himself with a quilt before rolling under the covers. A moment later, a fluffy head poked out, resting on the pillow to support his face while he carefully selected the photos with the System. Soon, Yun Zhixue felt a bit dizzy from the selection process; the photos all seemed mostly the same, and after looking at them for so long, he felt they were fine and not particularly revealing.
Dizzily, he muttered: “System, the photos all look the same. I will just send one randomly.” After all, Yun Zhixue looked at them and felt that if nothing was exposed, there was not much to see.
Indeed, as Yun Zhixue said, these photos were taken in the same pose, only two seconds apart.
The actions were almost identical, but to someone with an eye for detail, the differences were massive.
For example, the System. The System was shocked: “They are not the same! Look at this one: your palm is squeezed between your thighs. In this one, the corner of the shirt shifted, revealing a bit of your hip bone. And this one, your toes are curled up from shyness. This one is the most dangerous; the gap is exposed!” The System was so anxious it felt like it might smoke.
“Xiaoxue, wake up!”
Yun Zhixue blushed at the System’s words, though he thought it was overreacting. He mumbled in rebuttal: “No way. Everything is covered properly.”
However, he still listened as the System deleted the photos until only one remained. Even as the System continued to lecture him, Yun Zhixue had no choice but to send the photo to Qi Qian.
The System was critical, but accepted it. Finally, Yun Zhixue copied and pasted a message:
“Brother Qi Qian, this is today’s sleepwear. Goodnight.”
After sending it, Yun Zhixue felt a wave of belated shyness. A red flush bloomed on his face as he slowly laid his head on the pillow, rubbing his cheek against it. His heart was pounding, half from shame and half from the fear of the upcoming reaction.
“He will not block me, will he?” a muffled voice came from under the quilt.
Elsewhere, in the study.
The moment the message was sent, he clicked on it without a moment’s hesitation. He took one glance.
At that single glance, his blood seemed to rush to his head with a hum.
Clean, youthful, and carrying an unconscious, natural allure.
The photo was likely taken by Yun Zhixue himself. One could only see his tender, red lips, which seemed a bit swollen, and his pointed chin. His long hair was draped loosely, winding down to his calves, instantly fixing the viewer’s attention on those full, fleshy thighs. They were so white, shimmering with a moist luster under the light, while his thin fingers covered them in a coy, refusing but welcoming manner.
It felt as if, in the next second, he would pull the shirt aside, inviting one to reach out and touch whether it was as soft and smooth as it looked.
Qi Qian had seen Yun Zhixue’s legs earlier that day. They were legs with beautiful lines, with thin calves that clung to the bone. That was what he had thought when he looked at them today.
But from this top-down angle, sitting in a duck sit pose, those beautiful, pressed-together legs pushed out soft, plump flesh, the kind of flesh that seemed like it would melt in one’s hand if pinched.
Qi Qian stared, a trace of confusion and urgency flashing in his eyes.
He slid his fingers, zooming in and out. Yes, it was correct.
Qi Qian’s breathing suddenly halted, and his knuckles turned white from gripping the phone so hard. His heart felt as if it had been grabbed by an invisible hand, then suddenly released. The frantic rhythm made his eardrums ring. A scorching, unfamiliar heat surged from the base of his spine, rapidly attacking his whole body, even causing his fingertips to go slightly numb.
Yun Zhixue was actually not wearing anything. He looked incredibly innocent, yet his behavior was so bold.
His fingers holding the phone trembled as he cursed “shameless” under his breath, his voice hoarse and terrifying. He did not know who he was scolding, but he was aroused.
Before this, he had always thought he was asexual. But in just two days, every time Yun Zhixue sent him a photo, he could not control his body. He felt as if he had lost control, like a wild beast in rutting season that could not stop itself after catching the scent of a female.
He wanted to delete the photo immediately, block the number, and pretend nothing had happened.
But his finger hovered over the delete button, unable to fall.
Finally, he slammed the phone face-down on the desk with a dull thud. He turned around, facing the thick night outside the window, his chest heaving violently.
It was too abnormal. Perhaps he was sick, jumping from one extreme to another.
He needed a physical exam and a psychologist.
Immediately.
Xu Chi returned to his room and took the underwear out of his pocket; he could not bring himself to wash it. He laid out the clothes from the paper bag one by one. The white shirt was stained with his nosebleed and needed to be washed, so he set it on the table. The other clean clothes, still carrying a faint scent, were hung up on hangers before he walked to the wardrobe.
His own clothes were pitifully few, hanging in the empty cabinet and looking lonely and pathetic. But Xu Chi did not think so; he just found them an eyesore. He swept his clothes to the corner and carefully placed Yun Zhixue’s clothes inside. He instantly felt his wardrobe had moved up several tiers of quality.
Afterward, Xu Chi took the blood-stained white shirt into the bathroom, washed it thoroughly, and hung it up to dry. Then he gave himself a thorough cleaning; tomorrow was his date with Yun Zhixue, he had to be clean.
When he went to sleep, he pressed the underwear against his face and entered a sweet dream.
It was truly sweet. He dreamt of his baby wearing a maid outfit with cat ears, sitting on top of him. He lifted the little skirt to show him; there was nothing underneath, and he said obediently, “Honey, this is a wake-up service.” Then, a little bottom sat on his face, damp and warm.
He was a bit delirious, his hands blindly touching his wife’s waist, but he felt something fluffy and smooth. His wife whimpered, and there was more moisture. He swallowed, realizing what it was. It was his wife’s cat tail. Was the tail that sensitive, too? He felt dizzy, the corners of his mouth rising. “A wake-up service? Can I have this every day?”
Ding-a-ling. Xu Chi opened his eyes and took a deep breath. The scent was fading. He took the underwear off his face, tucked it under the pillow, and checked the alarm clock.
Six o’clock sharp. Plenty of time. He had booked a private image consultation.
He finished washing up at lightning speed and went downstairs, where he heard the butler sighing. The butler was rambling about how the young master was too busy with work, causing his immune system to decline, and that he had been in a huge rush to get a physical examination last night, which made him feel terrible—he had not been able to sleep all night. He had watched the young master grow up and treated him like his own child.
Xu Chi raised an eyebrow. “With that kind of health, you want to give Yun Zhixue happiness? Keep dreaming. Truly an old fogey.”
By the time Xu Chi finished his haircut and arrived at Yun Zhixue’s house, it was only 8:30.
Morning sunlight is always gentle. It spills softly, landing first on the leaves at the very top of the trees. The leaves shivered, as if just kissed awake, revealing thin golden veins. The light slid down the veins, dripping onto the layer of leaves below, and then another, and another. Finally, it reached the concrete ground, shattering into a shimmering, warm, pale-gold lake.
Yun Zhixue was sleeping soundly. His sleeping posture pushed his cheek flesh out, softly pressed against the pillow. The lake of sunlight finally flowed over the window sill and reached his bedside.
Sunlight spilled onto his bangs, and those slightly curly strands turned a translucent golden brown. The light continued to explore, falling onto his closed, long, curled eyelashes, casting fan-like shadows beneath his eyelids. His eyelashes trembled, and then he turned over.
The eyelashes stopped trembling, and his tightly pressed thighs relaxed.
Upstairs, everything was peaceful, but downstairs, Yun Zhixue’s brother, Yun Zhixiu, looked at the smiling Xu Chi, his temples throbbing. Yun Zhixiu had delayed his work time; he simply could not bear to leave a gluttonous wolf near his little brother.
Yun Zhixiu ignored Xu Chi; in a way, he was doing it on purpose, using his actions to tell Xu Chi clearly: “You are not welcome here.”
Yun Zhixiu looked at a recipe on his phone, planning to make breakfast for his brother personally. Xu Chi had no self-awareness that he was being ignored or annoying; he eagerly wanted to help, to curry favor with his brother-in-law, only to be chased out by Yun Zhixiu.
Xu Chi was not discouraged even when banished to the living room. He quietly noted that Yun Zhixue liked to sleep in and mapped out a date plan. In truth, he was a little nervous; he had to leave a good impression on Yun Zhixue for their first date.
He thought again of the kiss from yesterday, so soft and sweet. If he could have another one today, that would be great. Just thinking about it made him reveal a foolish smile.
Yun Zhixiu finished breakfast and came out, not even sparing Xu Chi a glance. He went straight upstairs, specifically picking out an outfit for his brother that was modest and covered him completely, which satisfied him. Then he took the clothes and gently pushed open his brother’s door.
He placed the clothes on the chair, walked to the bedside, smoothed out the messy dark hair, and cooed softly.
Xu Chi wanted to follow him upstairs, but he knew basic manners, so he could only restrain himself. He watched the staircase and his phone non-stop; time seemed to stand still, passing incredibly, incredibly slowly.
Finally, after twenty minutes, Yun Zhixiu led his brother downstairs. Yun Zhixue was being led by the hand, eyes bleary with sleep, walking sluggishly like a little cat not fully awake, his entire body leaning against Yun Zhixiu as he walked.
Xu Chi’s eyes lit up spectacularly. He could not wait to jump up and flash in front of Yun Zhixue, but he was blocked three steps away by Yun Zhixiu’s calm, unobtrusive presence. Xu Chi paused, his gaze sticking to Yun Zhixue, taking him in from top to bottom, inside and out.
Yun Zhixue was dressed particularly delicately today: a pink round-collar robe paired with fresh, light blue floral pants, looking exactly like the peach blossoms blooming in spring.
His hair was left down instead of styled, his eyes were watery, and his lips were red and teeth white. He was as elegant as an orchid and as beautiful as a peach tree, with an extreme vividness emerging from his purity.
Especially those lips—the color was even more ruddy than usual, slightly pouting. Xu Chi’s mind naturally wandered in distorted directions. His Adam’s apple rolled, and his voice sounded tight.
“Baby, I am here to pick you up.”
Yun Zhixue raised his eyes drowsily, looking at the person who had arrived. He blinked uncertainly, his long eyelashes fluttering like butterfly wings: “Xu Chi? Did you get a haircut?”
Xu Chi smiled bashfully, lowered his head, and nudged Yun Zhixue’s hand, replying: “Yeah, the stylist said this suits me. You can tell at a glance I am a robust man.”
Xu Chi had shaved his hair into a buzz cut. Yun Zhixue touched it; the short stubble was even pricklier, especially since Xu Chi was tall and robust, and his hair was coarse.
Yun Zhixue curiously touched it a few more times; it was very prickly. Yun Zhixiu watched their natural contact and felt an inexplicable sourness in his heart. He squeezed the hand he was holding and spoke softly, interrupting their interaction.
“Little Xue, let us have breakfast first, okay? It will get cold soon.”
Yun Zhixue’s attention was pulled back by his brother. He retracted the hand from Xu Chi’s head and responded obediently: “Okay.”
Xu Chi frowned; that strange feeling came again, but Yun Zhixiu was the baby’s brother, so perhaps it was not what he thought. After all, if he had a brother as cute as the baby, he would not let anyone else lay a hand on him, not even holding hands. Thinking this, Xu Chi felt relieved.
His negative opinion of his brother-in-law dissipated.
Yun Zhixue was completely unaware of the undercurrents between his brother and Xu Chi. His attention was caught by the steaming breakfast on the table. Led by his brother, he sat at the table. His sleepiness dissipated a little, and he regained some spirit, eating his breakfast slowly.
Xu Chi sat beside him, eyes unblinking as he watched Yun Zhixue eat. When he noticed a scrap of food, he did not wait for Yun Zhixue to react before quickly wiping it away with a napkin.
Yun Zhixue tilted his head in confusion. Xu Chi smiled: “Baby, keep eating, I will wait on you.”
Yun Zhixiu watched this scene unfold, looking forlornly at the fried egg on his plate. Physical reactions do not lie; Yun Zhixue was very accustomed to being served by Xu Chi. He should be happy that his brother had finally let go of Qi Qian.
He even seemed to have a new object of affection, but his heart felt as if it were being pressed by something, making the food in his mouth taste like nothing.
