Wen Ruchu went to various gold shops again to purchase gold. She bought from many different stores, almost sweeping through every gold shop in Hua City, and in total purchased another fifty jin of gold.

This time, however, the change in the Dimensional Space was not as dramatic as before. The space only expanded by about one third, and an additional room appeared on the third floor of the house. It seemed that in the future, if she wanted to continue expanding the Dimensional Space, she would need even more gold.

Wen Ruchu felt that time was of the essence. She should leave immediately and start fleecing the foreigners. Buying large quantities of gold domestically was too eye-catching. If things went badly, people might even suspect her of illegal dealings.Full novel: Dominating Apocalypse: Big Sis Is Still the Boss — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

After returning home, Wen Ruchu began booking plane tickets. Her plan was to first go to Ugly Country to stockpile gold, weapons, and her sea-land-air treasures. After that, she would go to the rich brother’s country to stockpile oil and natural gas. Finally, she would make a trip to Savadika to stockpile fruit.

Before leaving, Wen Ruchu called the restaurant owners she had been ordering from and told them she would be away for a while. Once she returned, she would continue ordering meals. Only after making these arrangements did she board the plane and fly abroad.

Wen Ruchu estimated that she would be away for quite some time—at least half a month. She also needed to reserve one month later to learn how to operate her sea, land, and air vehicles.

…

Ugly Country.

The moment Wen Ruchu stepped off the plane, she felt the scorching heat that seemed capable of melting a person. It was almost the same as when she had been in Dragon Nation.

The disaster was global.

It seemed that even Old Ugly Country was not faring well.

Under normal circumstances, Ugly Country should have been cooler than Dragon Nation, but now the temperature was extremely high even for them.

Wen Ruchu first checked into a five-star hotel and booked the most luxurious Presidential Suite.

After carefully inspecting the room and confirming that there were no cameras, she took out dishes from the Dimensional Space—kung pao chicken, tomato scrambled eggs with beef, braised prawns, oyster-sauce lettuce, and a bowl of rice—and happily began eating.

No need to ask why.

The food in Ugly Country simply didn’t suit her Dragon Nation stomach.

After eating her fill, Wen Ruchu put on heavy makeup that gave her a rebellious street-girl appearance. She darkened her skin, wore dreadlocks, and completely disguised herself.

Even her own mother probably wouldn’t recognize her.

Ugly Country was chaotic, with complicated forces intertwined everywhere. Moreover, the things she wanted to buy were extremely illegal.

Using a code she had previously found on the dark web, Wen Ruchu contacted Old K, a middleman from the Underground Black Market. She told him that she wanted to purchase a large amount of gold as well as weapons and ammunition.

Old K looked at Wen Ruchu’s dark-skinned appearance and delinquent image. The racism in his bones made him reveal a look of disdain.

“How much do you want? The Underground Black Market isn’t child’s play. You think this is a game? Be careful you don’t lose your life.”

“I want two tons of gold. For weapons, I want pistols, submachine guns, sniper rifles, and all kinds of firearms. I also want grenades and smoke bombs—every type you have. As for cold weapons, I want Tang swords, military knives, and anything similar. I want a warehouse full of goods. The largest warehouse you have.”

Old K’s eyes widened when he heard this.

“Are you serious?”

Wen Ruchu nodded.

“Yes.”

The rule of the Underground Black Market was simple: never ask about the source and never ask about the destination.

Old K was shocked, but he didn’t ask further questions. Instead, he arranged for her to collect the goods one week later.

As he watched Wen Ruchu walk away, curiosity grew in his mind.

Why would this young woman buy so much gold and so many weapons? He could understand the weapons, but why so much gold? And the gold in the Underground Black Market wasn’t cheap.

After returning, Old K investigated Wen Ruchu’s background. The only thing he found was that she came from Dragon Nation.

She probably didn’t have any powerful background.

That thought gave Old K the idea of robbing her.

In Ugly Country, robbing other criminals was common. Whether you could take the goods away depended on your own ability.

…

During that week, Wen Ruchu didn’t remain idle.

She went to the best car dealership in Ugly Country to buy vehicles.

In the apocalypse, sports cars were nothing more than jokes.

The moment she saw a Marauder, she fell in love with it. Its design was fierce and wild, known as the “land tank.” It gave Wen Ruchu an incredible visual impact.

Of course, the price was not cheap.

In addition, Wen Ruchu also bought a Knight XV and a Brabus 6×6.

All of them were essential apocalypse war vehicles.

They looked incredibly cool and powerful—though they consumed a lot of fuel and were extremely expensive.

She also bought recreational vehicles. Wen Ruchu picked out two of the largest models.

Why the largest?

First, they were sturdier and less likely to flip over during unexpected situations.

Second, they gave the impression that many people were inside, making others less likely to provoke them.

Each RV could accommodate nine people. That way, when traveling outdoors, she wouldn’t need to struggle to find a place to stay or set up tents.

Wen Ruchu chose the highest-end configurations and bought many spare tires and other parts.

The total cost was nearly four hundred million yuan.

However, the dealer also gifted her ten tons of gasoline.

She was very satisfied.

Over the next few days, Wen Ruchu searched the dark web again to see if anyone was selling helicopters.

Aircraft were not easy to purchase. Usually only wealthy elites owned private helicopters. Ordinary people couldn’t buy them.

But yachts were easy to buy.

Originally, she had wanted to buy a cruise ship, but it was far too expensive—completely beyond her budget.

So she settled for two yachts.

She also bought ten assault boats, ten jet skis, and ten inflatable boats.

After much searching, she finally found a powerful figure willing to sell a helicopter.

But the price was ninety million Ugly dollars.

Ninety million.

Converted to yuan, it was more than six hundred million.

Damn it.

But she had no choice.

This was life-saving equipment.

Who knew what kind of disasters might happen ten years later? Aircraft were the fastest means of escape.

After settling her sea, land, and air equipment, Wen Ruchu went on a massive shopping spree in the Ugly Country market.

Everything she had bought in her home country, she bought again here—multiplied several times.

Why not buy more?

One hundred tons of rice.

One hundred tons of flour.

Various grains and coarse cereals.

Clothing, household items, and everything else imaginable.

Stockpile, stockpile, stockpile!

Since meat was cheap in Ugly Country, she bought large quantities of it as well.

Then she suddenly remembered that she hadn’t stockpiled seafood.

She would do that after returning home.

Previously, the Little Island Nation had polluted the ocean, making seafood inedible.

But that problem couldn’t stop the great Dragon Nation.

Biologists and scientists had developed artificial seawater, allowing seafood to be cultivated even inland.

Still, seafood from coastal cities was more authentic.

As for why she didn’t buy seafood in Ugly Country?

She was worried about genetic mutations.

What if the fish grew two heads?

…

Soon the agreed date arrived.

At the designated warehouse, it would be a simple transaction—payment and delivery.

Wen Ruchu arrived early and waited at the delivery location.

Before long, Old K arrived with two heavily tattooed men.

“Miss Wen.”

Wen Ruchu didn’t waste time with pleasantries.

“Where are my goods?”

“They’re in a warehouse about one kilometer from here. The gold and weapons are all inside.”

“Take me there. Once I see the goods, the money will be transferred to your account.”

Wen Ruchu followed them without hesitation.

She wasn’t worried at all.

She had already considered the possibility of being robbed.

But they hadn’t received the money yet.

Even if they planned to harm her, they would wait until after the payment was made. Otherwise, Old K wouldn’t be able to explain things to the people above him.

After all, he was only a middleman.
