Pov – Lan Fozi…

A month passed quietly.

During that month, Godzilla finally figured out the background of the little whale who had been visiting him every day.Full novel: Douluo Dalu: Reincarnated As Godzilla — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

She belonged to the Deep Sea Demon Whale clan.

And according to what Godzilla had learned, this was genuinely one of the most vicious Spirit Beast races in the entire ocean.

A single Deep Sea Demon Whale with a hundred thousand years of cultivation was already capable of turning enormous stretches of ocean into dead zones, slaughtering countless creatures and completely destroying the ecological balance of an entire sea region.

Godzilla sincerely hoped that this clan would hurry up and leave the waters surrounding Sea God Island.

Considering their hunting habits, the fact that the ecosystem around Sea God Island still existed was practically a miracle.

They were not merely predators.

They were walking ecological disasters.

One day, while Godzilla was silently lurking in the depths of the ocean, he suddenly noticed enormous pieces of ice floating across the distant sea.

Icebergs.

Godzilla’s golden eyes narrowed slightly.

He immediately understood that he was approaching the Far North Frozen Sea.

Apparently, the migration route of the Deep Sea Demon Whale clan had already brought them this far.

Godzilla had originally planned to leave once he finished dealing with the situation around Sea God Island, but after thinking about it for a moment, he decided to wait.

He would leave after Little Whale came to play with him one more time.

During this month, Lan Fozi had come to find him almost every day.

Sometimes she would dive into the deep sea during daylight hours to look for him.

Occasionally, she would even sneak away from her clan during the night just to come and play with him.

For a gigantic existence like Godzilla, a single month was barely worth mentioning.

His lifespan and scale of existence were simply too different from those of ordinary creatures.

Yet he still cherished this brief period of companionship.

After all, apart from Bo Saixi and Xiao Bai, Lan Fozi was probably the creature he had communicated with the most since arriving in this world.

“Roar!”

Godzilla released a low roar toward the distant sea.

He had been waiting for her.

Why was this little one so late today?

A moment later, Lan Fozi finally appeared.

She hurriedly swam toward him, her expression noticeably more nervous than usual.

“Big guy, the Coral Palace is just ahead!”

She immediately approached Godzilla and rubbed her head affectionately against his enormous body.

“Father decided to launch the attack tonight, so hurry and find somewhere to hide with me!

Make sure nobody discovers you!”

“Coral Palace?”

Godzilla was slightly stunned.

He had never heard that name before.

Lan Fozi did not wait for him to think about it.

She immediately turned around and swam toward another direction.

“I found a huge cave when I arrived here, and you definitely won’t be discovered if you hide inside!”

She quickly swam several hundred meters away before looking back.

Godzilla was still standing exactly where he had been.

Lan Fozi became anxious.

“Big guy, why are you still standing there?

Hurry up!

Father and the others definitely won’t let you go if they see you, so hide quickly!”

She immediately swam back.

After reaching Godzilla, she gently nudged his enormous face with her head before turning around and leading the way with her tail.

“Roar…”

Godzilla released a low sound.

Forget it.

He would wait one more day before leaving.

At least he could see what kind of trouble this little whale was talking about.

Godzilla followed Lan Fozi toward the cave she had discovered.

When he finally saw the entrance, he fell silent.

The cave had obviously been roughly remodeled.

Its interior had been widened in several places, and traces of excavation remained scattered across the surrounding stone.

“Big guy, hurry and get inside!”

Lan Fozi swam toward Godzilla’s tail and tried to bite it, apparently intending to drag him into the cave.

Unfortunately, reality was rather cruel.

Godzilla was simply too large.

His body became firmly stuck at the entrance.

Lan Fozi stared at him.

Then she stared at the cave.

Then she stared back at him.

“Wow!

Why are you still so big?”

She sounded genuinely frustrated.

“I clearly spent the entire afternoon remodeling this place, so why can’t you fit inside?”

Godzilla remained motionless.

Lan Fozi immediately began slapping his enormous body with her tail.

Then she activated her devouring ability and began gnawing at the edges of the cave, swallowing the loosened stone before spitting out the useless fragments.

Godzilla watched her work.

“…So this is how you dug the cave?”

He could not help finding it both amusing and novel.

Lan Fozi was apparently using her devouring ability as a primitive excavation tool.

Godzilla gave a low roar.

Lan Fozi instinctively moved backward.

Then Godzilla’s dorsal plates began glowing.

A concentrated spiral of energy rapidly gathered before his mouth.

The surrounding seawater trembled.

The next instant—

Boom!

A Spiral Heat Ray erupted.

The devastating beam tore through the rock around the entrance, cutting and melting the stone with terrifying precision.

The narrow cave entrance was instantly expanded.

“Wow!”

Lan Fozi’s eyes lit up.

“I didn’t know you had this ability!”

She excitedly swam around Godzilla.

“So amazing!”

She had originally assumed that this big guy was somewhat stupid and had survived simply because he was enormous and knew how to hide.

She had never expected him to possess such a powerful ability.

Lan Fozi’s opinion of him immediately improved.

However, even after witnessing the Spiral Heat Ray, she still did not think he could compare with her father.

After all, her father was the Deep Sea Demon Whale King.

And right now, her father was extremely hungry.

If he discovered a gigantic Spirit Beast like Godzilla, there was absolutely no chance that he would simply let such prey escape.

“Hurry and get inside!”

Lan Fozi urged.

This time, Godzilla finally fit into the enlarged cave.

Lan Fozi carefully looked around before finally relaxing.

She then remained there and chatted with Godzilla.

The two creatures stayed together until dusk.

Only then did Lan Fozi reluctantly leave and return to her clan.

Meanwhile, the camp of the Deep Sea Demon Whale clan was already approaching the territory of the Mermaid race.

“We have arrived at the territory of the Sea Princess clan.”

The Deep Sea Demon Whale King’s enormous body floated silently in the darkness.

His voice carried unquestionable authority.

“According to our plan, those with more than a hundred thousand years of cultivation will follow me and besiege the Coral Palace.”

“That Sea Princess will definitely call for reinforcements once she realizes what is happening.”

He paused before continuing.

“Lan Fozi, you and the others will intercept the Spirit Beasts that come to rescue her.”

The strategy was simple.

Besiege the Coral Palace.

Force the enemy to summon reinforcements.

Then annihilate those reinforcements before they could arrive.

By controlling the battlefield and eliminating the enemy’s support, the Deep Sea Demon Whale King could maintain complete initiative.

“Understood!”

The members of the clan immediately nodded.

The Demon Empress also approved of the plan.

“That Sea Princess possesses approximately six hundred thousand years of cultivation.”

Her voice was calm as she analyzed the situation.

“In terms of cultivation alone, she is comparable to you, but with me joining the battle, we definitely have a chance of defeating her.”

The Deep Sea Demon Whale King nodded.

After giving several more instructions, the members of the clan scattered.

One by one, they disappeared into the darkness of the deep sea.

They formed a concealed encirclement around the Coral Palace and waited quietly for nightfall.

The Deep Sea Demon Whale King and the Demon Empress also moved into position near the Coral Palace.

Neither of them made a sound.

The ocean gradually became darker.

Night descended.

The deep sea was soon swallowed by almost complete darkness.

A group of pitch-black Spirit Beasts slowly swam through the water.

Their bodies varied in size, with the largest exceeding ten meters in length.

A faint pale-blue halo surrounded their bodies, and each creature possessed two long, sharp fangs protruding from its mouth.

The moment the Deep Sea Demon Whales hiding nearby noticed them, their eyes immediately lit up with greed.

“It’s the Sea Demon Elephant!”

“There are more than twenty of them!”

“We’re going to have a full meal tonight!”

Two Deep Sea Demon Whales immediately rushed out from the darkness.

Their enormous jaws opened wide as they charged toward the Sea Demon Elephant group.

The surrounding darkness made visibility extremely poor.

The Sea Demon Elephants did not realize that danger was approaching until the Deep Sea Demon Whales were already right in front of them.

By then, it was too late.

Several Sea Demon Elephants were torn apart in an instant.

Their blood rapidly spread through the seawater.

“Enemy attack!”

“Enemy attack!”

The leader of the Sea Demon Elephants roared in panic.

He frantically waved a golden conch, causing a deep vibrating sound to spread throughout the surrounding sea.

The sound was meant to summon nearby allies.

But when the leader finally saw the attackers clearly beneath the faint moonlight, his expression turned deathly pale.

Deep Sea Demon Whales.

He immediately turned around and attempted to flee.

How could the Deep Sea Demon Whales possibly allow their prey to escape?

Their enormous mouths opened simultaneously.

The remaining Sea Demon Elephants were swallowed one after another.

The Deep Sea Demon Whales continued chasing the fleeing creatures until the last trace of life disappeared into the blood-red waters.

The entire hunting operation was brutally efficient.

And this was merely the beginning.

Meanwhile, deep beneath the ocean, inside the Coral Palace, a tense confrontation was already unfolding.

Hundreds of mermaids gathered together.

Standing before them was the ruler of the Mermaid race, the Sea Princess.

Her body was approximately three meters long.

She possessed long water-blue hair and wore a silver crown upon her head.

Her upper body was that of an elegant human woman, while two jade-white shells covered her chest.

Below her waist was an enormous fish tail covered in deep-blue scales.

Her entire body radiated an aura of coldness and majesty.

She stared coldly toward the two enormous Deep Sea Demon Whales before her.

“Leave immediately.”

Her voice contained no warmth whatsoever.

“Otherwise, don’t blame us for being impolite.”

If another Spirit Beast race had intruded into her territory, the Sea Princess might have attempted to persuade them to retreat peacefully.

But these were Deep Sea Demon Whales.

There was no need for courtesy.

The Deep Sea Demon Whale clan was infamous throughout the ocean.

Wherever they went, slaughter followed.

Entire ecosystems could be destroyed simply because they had passed through an area.

The Sea Princess knew very well that once this clan began hunting, they would not stop until the surrounding waters had been completely emptied of prey.

The Deep Sea Demon Whale King did not waste time with words.

His enormous body suddenly churned through the water.

His gigantic tail lashed outward.

A terrifying purple-blue energy fan immediately erupted from his body.

The powerful impact tore through the seawater, creating enormous cavities and shockwaves as it surged toward the Coral Palace.

The mermaids immediately reacted.

They rapidly formed a defensive formation.

Ice-blue ice crystals spread through the surrounding water, intersecting and layering over one another until they formed an enormous wall of solid ice.

The Sea Princess intended to use the combined defensive power of her people to block the attack.

Then—

Boom!

The purple-blue energy crashed into the ice wall.

The supposedly solid defense shattered instantly.

Ice crystals exploded in every direction.

The enormous shockwave swept through the mermaid formation, sending countless mermaids flying backward.

Several of them spat blood.

Their faces became pale from the impact.

Even the Sea Princess, whose position beneath the silver crown allowed her to withstand most of the force, could not avoid being affected.

Her body staggered.

A wave of dizziness washed through her mind.

She barely stabilized herself before raising her head.

Then she looked toward the enormous creature lurking within the darkness.

Two gigantic eyes stared back at her.

Cold.

Hungry.

And incomparably enormous.

The Sea Princess felt a chill run through her entire body.

At that moment, she finally understood.

The Deep Sea Demon Whale clan had not come here merely to hunt a few Spirit Beasts.

They had come prepared to destroy the Coral Palace.

And judging from the overwhelming pressure radiating from that enormous body, this battle was going to be far more difficult than she had imagined.
