[TM] 1: Chapter 1: Like This Can Be Matched Up?
[TM] (The author’s imagination is limited when it comes to the twelve talismans, and there’s plenty of interesting ways to use them in Dragonball, so everyone can discuss it here and I will incorporate the ideas as reference.) (Initial roster for the Tournament of Power: 1.

Tien Shinhan) “Damn it!” In the rented apartment, Ned stared at the puddle of cola pooling on the desk, his composure starting to crack.
As a veteran Dragonball fan, after getting off work he had ordered a delivery meal, then opened his computer to rewatch the classic scene of Goku transforming into Super Saiyan 4 in Dragon Ball GT.
Now, the satisfying moment had been ruined by the cola that came free with this meal.
“Damn it, I just got to the part where Baby gets wrecked…” He cursed under his breath as he set the cola bottle upright again, not realizing that the cheap power strip by his feet, crammed with cables for his computer, monitor, and phone charger, already had cola seeping into it.
The liquid had already trickled along the corner of the desk and filled the sockets.
“Zzzzt, crack!” A powerful surge of electricity instantly shot through Ned’s body.
In the last moment before his consciousness faded, the final thought that flashed through his mind was, “My Delivery…
I haven’t even finished eating it…” Planet Vegeta, Sector A, lower class warrior residential district.
Inside Turles’s home, the atmosphere was unbearably tense.
Ned, no, he should now be called Negi, sat quietly in the corner of the room.
He had transmigrated.
It had taken him a full year to accept this fact.
He had gone from being an adult working stiff to a Saiyan infant just past his third birthday, with a tail.
What made it worse was that he knew exactly where he was.
“Turles, have you really decided?” A deep male voice spoke up.
The door opened, and a man and a woman walked in.
The man had unruly hair and a cold expression, with a cross shaped scar on his face.
The woman had gentle black hair, but her eyes held the resolve characteristic of a Saiyan.
Bardock and Gine.
“Bardock.” Negi’s father Turles stood up and glanced at his wife.
“I’ve decided.
Frieza is gathering all the Saiyans back, and something about this whole thing reeks of wrongness.” “I keep having a bad feeling about it.” Turles and Bardock had a bond forged on the battlefield, the kind earned by risking their lives together.
Bardock said in a low voice, “Same here.
Frieza’s been asking around about the legend of the ‘Super Saiyan’…
he’s scared.” “I just got back from the front lines, and I feel like…
the Saiyans might really be finished.” Gine stepped forward and looked at the infant inside the growth pod, Kakarot.
“So, we’re planning to send Kakarot away.” Gine forced herself to hold back her reluctance.
“We stole a small long range spacecraft, and set the coordinates for a remote planet called ‘Earth.'” Turles glanced over at his unusually quiet son Negi in the corner, a flicker of resolve crossing his eyes.
“King Vegeta is already unhappy that my son’s (Negi’s) combat power is growing too slowly, and he was planning to exile him to some garbage planet anyway.” Turles let out a cold laugh.
“Rather than let them decide for us, we might as well choose for ourselves.” He turned to look at Bardock and said, “Bardock, my closest friend.
Can we…
‘share a ship’?” Bardock was stunned for a moment, then laughed.
“I knew you’d say that.
But the ship is too small…” “We can squeeze them in, it’ll fit somehow!” Turles cut him off.
“Negi is already three years old, he’s quite sensible.
With the two of them together, at least they’ll have company!” “But…” Gine hesitated slightly.
“Just listen to me, Gine.” After a moment of thought, Bardock placed a hand on his wife’s shoulder.
“Turles is right.
One more companion means one more sliver of hope.” He looked at Turles, and both their eyes carried the same determination, the kind people have when they’ve accepted they’re going to die.
“There’s not much time left.
The gap between patrol shift changes is short.
We need to leave right now!” The barren wasteland of Planet Vegeta, the launch site.
Two pairs of parents, two infants.
Negi was held tightly by his mother in this lifetime, her tears falling onto his face.
“Negi…
my son…
you have to survive…
you must…” Turles patted Negi hard on the back, his voice hoarse.
“You’re a year older than Kakarot, take care of him!
Live on like a true Saiyan warrior!” On the other side, Gine was also crying as she gave Kakarot her final instructions.
Bardock, by contrast, seemed very calm.
He simply walked over and rubbed both children’s heads.
Negi raised his head, and with his clear eyes, the eyes of an infant carrying the soul of an adult, he gazed deeply at Bardock for a moment, then turned his head and fixed his stare on his parents in this world.
‘Goodbye, Goku’s father.
Goodbye, my parents in this world.’ “Quick!
Get into the ship!” The two infants were swiftly placed inside the small, cramped, round spacecraft.
Three year old Negi, and two year old Kakarot.
“Bang!” The hatch sealed shut.
“Coordinates: Earth.
Launch!” The ship trembled slightly, slowly rising into the air, then with a “whoosh” it turned into a streak of light and vanished into the dark red sky.
Gine could no longer hold back, and she collapsed into Bardock’s arms, sobbing.
Turles and his wife also embraced each other, gazing into the distance at that streak of light.
“This way…
it’s for the best.” Turles murmured.
“Ah.” Bardock lifted his head and looked toward the planet’s orbit.
There, an enormous flagship radiating an ominous aura was slowly descending.
“Frieza’s here.” Bardock untied the red headband from his head and tightened it.
“Well then.” Turles twisted his neck, producing a series of cracking sounds.
“Let’s go out with one last great fight, right here!
Let that piece of trash see the true fighting spirit of us Saiyans!” “Couldn’t agree more!” Deep in space, the ship was flying on autopilot.
“Waaah, waaah, waaah!” Inside the cramped cabin, Kakarot’s crying was like a demonic noise drilling into his ears.
Negi was getting a massive headache from the noise.
“Stop crying, stop crying!
If you keep this up, we’ll get eaten by wild beasts the moment we land on Earth!” He used his infant body, straining to try to cover Kakarot’s mouth.
However, he was just a small infant, his arms were too short to reach.
“This is so annoying!” Negi was getting a bit irritable.
He noticed that the ship’s automatic feeding system had a packet of baby formula prepared for infants, but it was stuck at the dispenser opening.
“Come out!” Negi roared internally, and instinctively reached out his hand.
And in that instant, the moment this thought arose, something strange happened.
That stuck packet of formula seemed to be grabbed by an invisible hand, trembling slightly, then with a “whoosh” it floated up into the air, drifting unsteadily over to hover right in front of Negi.
“…Huh?” Negi froze.
He looked at his own short little infant arm, then looked at the formula packet floating in front of him.
“This…
this is…” He tried again, focusing his thoughts once more: ‘Go over there.’ The formula packet drifted unsteadily over toward Kakarot.
‘Come back.’ The formula packet floated back again.
“Holy crap!” “Telekinesis!
Psychic power!
My golden finger is telekinesis!!” He was overjoyed beyond words.
He didn’t know how strong this “telekinesis” was, but in this high powered world of Dragonball, any bit of extraordinary ability could be a life saving trump card!
He had no idea that this was actually the Rooster Talisman branded deep into his soul (levitation, telekinesis) being instinctively activated.
“Waaah, waaah,” Kakarot was still crying.
“Alright, alright, here you go, here you go!” Negi used his “telekinesis” to control the formula packet, precisely guiding it into Kakarot’s mouth.
The world finally fell silent.
Negi let out a breath of relief, looking out the porthole at the stars rapidly streaking past, then looked at the little guy beside him, sucking on his formula, soon to become “Son Goku.” ‘Starting out by sharing a ship with Goku, and my golden finger is psychic power…’ ‘Bulma, Android 18, the Dragon Balls, the World Martial Arts Tournament…’ “This lifetime,” Negi clenched his small infant fist, “I, Ned, am going to live it to the fullest!” A few months later, on Earth, at Mount Paozu.
An old man in martial arts clothing was searching for something in a bamboo grove.
“BOOM!” A fireball fell from the sky, crashing down near a mountain stream not far away.
“Whoa!
What was that?
A monster?” The old man, bold despite his skill, grabbed his staff and ran toward it.
(ps: The author didn’t originally factor the infinite energy setting of the Dragon Talisman into the plan, but after seeing feedback from some readers about it, the author made a lot of revisions.
It’s just that with the chapters getting longer, some inconsistencies are bound to slip through, so if you spot a part the author didn’t manage to fix, please just disregard it.
The enemies the protagonist faces are basically all one sided stomps anyway, so it shouldn’t really affect anything.) ============================== Anime: Villain Scientist Chat New Novel guys support me.
