The second semifinal match that followed, though equally exciting, felt a touch more immature in comparison to the display of “grandmaster’s bearing” from Son Gokai’s earlier match.

Son Goku and Krillin, master brothers who knew each other inside and out, fought with unusual intensity.

Krillin brought out everything he had, even using the “Afterimage Fist” and “decoy tactics.” But unfortunately, in the face of an absolute gap in strength, clever tricks could only stall for time, unable to change the outcome.Full novel: Dragon Ball: 12 Talisman, Girlfriend Bulma And 18 — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

In the end, Goku relied on a Saiyan’s tremendous resilience to withstand one of Krillin’s flying kicks, then countered with a heavy punch that sent Krillin flying out of the ring.

With that, the finals lineup was set.

Son Gokai versus Son Goku.

A battle between brothers!

In the rest room.

The unconscious Jackie Chun finally stirred awake.

He rubbed his aching neck, his eyes somewhat dazed, but soon the memories came flooding back like a tide.

“I…

lost?” Master Roshi looked up at the ceiling and let out a bitter laugh with a sigh.

“I didn’t even have the qualification to force that kid to go all out?” He could sense that Son Gokai’s final strike had still been held back.

If that strike had been even slightly heavier, or landed a bit off, these old bones of his might have been finished right there.

“Sigh, the young people these days really are terrifying.” Master Roshi took off the disguise of the Chinese tunic suit and tore off the fake wig, revealing his true appearance.

He walked to the window and looked out at the platform, which had already been freshly repaired.

There, two figures were facing off against each other.

One was his proud disciple, Son Goku.

The other was a monster who left him feeling deeply powerless, yet immensely proud, Son Gokai.

“Let me see it then, Gokai.” Master Roshi put on his sunglasses, hiding the complicated emotions in his eyes.

“Just how high a place you’re standing at right now.” “The finals, begin!!” With the referee’s command, the atmosphere of the entire venue was pushed to its peak.

“I’ve finally been waiting for this moment, big brother!” Son Goku struck the opening stance of Turtle Style, the fighting spirit in his eyes burning to its utmost, the very air around him seeming to warp from the heat wave radiating off his body.

“Come on then, Goku.” Son Gokai kept one hand behind his back, extending only his right hand in a gesture of invitation.

“Let me see what you’ve accomplished this past year.” “Yaaaaah!!” Son Goku let out a roar, and his figure vanished instantly.

So fast!

The spectators only saw a blur before their eyes, and Goku had already appeared right in front of Son Gokai, a storm of punches and kicks pouring down!

“Bang bang bang bang bang!!” The sound of fists striking flesh crackled densely like firecrackers.

Son Gokai still used only one hand.

Blocking, deflecting, catching.

No matter how fierce or tricky Goku’s attacks were, that single hand of Son Gokai’s was like an insurmountable natural barrier, fending off every single attack.

He hadn’t even moved his feet a single step the entire time.

“Still not enough.” Son Gokai said flatly.

“Too slow, and your power is too scattered.

Gather your energy together!” “Damn it!!” Son Goku gritted his teeth, whipping his tail against the ground to launch himself into the air, delivering a heavy, powerful flying kick straight at Son Gokai’s temple.

“Now that’s more like it.” A flicker of appreciation flashed in Son Gokai’s eyes as he raised his left hand for the first time.

“Bang!” He caught Goku’s ankle firmly.

“But the opening you left was far too big.” Before the words had even finished, Son Gokai gave his wrist a flick and swung Goku around in a full circle, smashing him straight into the ground!

“Boom!!” The stone platform was smashed into a large crater, debris flying everywhere.

But Goku’s reaction was incredibly fast, and the instant he hit the ground he used his tail to push off, springing back up like a coil to put some distance between them.

“Huff…

huff…” Son Goku panted heavily, staring intently at his brother, who still stood in the exact same spot, not even a single wrinkle on his clothes.

The gap between them, it was too vast.

He had already grown so much stronger, so why did he still feel as helpless as a baby in front of his brother?

It wasn’t just Goku, everyone at the edge of the platform was left dumbstruck.

Bulma clutched her chest with both hands, her eyes filled with stars.

“Gokai…

so cool!” Meanwhile, Master Roshi, hiding in the corner, wore an expression of extreme seriousness.

‘That composure, that absolute control over the flow of the battle.’ ‘He isn’t fighting a match at all, he’s…

teaching.’ Master Roshi could see it clearly.

Every block, every counterattack from Son Gokai was forcing Goku to correct his own movements, to squeeze out every last drop of his potential.

Was this even an opponent?

This was clearly the most demanding of mentors!

“Like some kind of monster…” Master Roshi muttered to himself.

“This child’s level in the martial way has probably already touched the threshold of ‘God.'” (PS: The “God” mentioned here is not the God that appears later in Dragon Ball Super) On the platform.

Son Gokai seemed to feel that the warm up was about enough.

He lowered the hand that had been resting behind his back, the smile on his face gradually fading, replaced by a seriousness never seen before.

In that instant, the energy around him changed.

If a moment ago he had been a still, silent mountain, then now he was a volcano on the verge of eruption, a tsunami about to sweep across heaven and earth.

The terrifying pressure was so intense that the referee standing closest to the platform couldn’t help but stumble back several steps, his legs trembling.

“Goku.” Son Gokai looked at his younger brother not far away and spoke in a low voice.

“The warm up is over.” “From here on, I’m going to get a little more serious.

Are you ready?” Hearing these words, every hair on Son Goku’s body stood on end.

That was the instinctive fear a creature feels when facing its natural predator.

But he did not back down, instead trembling all over with excitement.

“Bring it on!!

Big brother!!” Son Goku dropped into a defensive stance, fully focused, pushing all of his senses to their absolute limit.

“Good.” Before Son Gokai’s words had even finished.

“Shwa!” He vanished.

It was not the “Instant Movement” he had used against Jackie Chun, but a pure explosion of physical speed!

Yet even so, Goku’s eyes still couldn’t catch any trace of an image.

‘Where?

Left?

Right?

Above?’ Goku’s mind raced at full speed.

Suddenly, a memory flashed through his mind.

It was from a few years ago, in the forest of Mount Paozu, that masked figure with the demon face.

And just now, that same move his brother had used against old man Jackie Chun.

‘Behind me!!!’ Goku’s instincts were screaming in alarm.

Without any hesitation, relying purely on instinct and that one flash of insight, he spun around abruptly while simultaneously raising his right elbow, driving it back with all his force!

In this moment, time seemed to slow down.

Just as Goku turned, Son Gokai’s figure did indeed appear right behind him.

That signature knife hand strike was already raised high, ready to fall.

However, Goku’s anticipatory elbow strike landed exactly in the path the knife hand had to travel!

“Hm?” For the first time, a flicker of surprise flashed through Son Gokai’s eyes, still as calm as an ancient well.

‘He anticipated my movement?

And reacted using nothing but muscle memory?’ Anime: Villain Scientist Chat New Novel guys support me.
