Gazing at Oryon’s handsome features, Bulma took a long moment to compose herself before picking up a box of Capsules and walking out of the room.

With a bang, the Capsule popped open, and out came an opulent, high-end aircraft.

This was Oryon’s first time seeing a Capsule in action, and he found it utterly fascinating.

He’d have to get himself a big Capsule House someday — that way, even traveling the world, he’d never have to compromise on living standards.

Bulma suddenly called out, urging him, “What are you standing around for? Get in already!”

“Coming!”

Oryon boarded the plane, heading straight for the back seat.

But Bulma patted the seat beside her — the copilot’s seat.

“You’re playing my boyfriend right now, so sit here… And remember, once we get there, you’d better act the part. Blow my cover and you’re dead…”

The corner of Oryon’s mouth twitched.

Guess since there was no chance of him actually becoming her real boyfriend, she didn’t feel the need to hold that temper back, huh?

What a fierce woman.

No wonder nobody wanted her.

Bulma slammed some kind of ignition switch, and the plane shot off the ground and rocketed into the sky.

From the copilot’s seat, Oryon looked out the side window, taking in the full sprawl of bustling West City below.

This world really was beautiful!

Skyscrapers rose in dense ranks, scattered points of elegant architecture glittering under the sunlight…

It was beautiful enough to send his imagination running wild.

Of course, his previous world had been beautiful too — it was just that an ordinary guy like him had never had the means to enjoy most of what it had to offer.

After all, he’d just been a workhorse who didn’t make much money, and enjoying life took plenty of cash.

He’d grinded away for years before realizing that even working himself to the bone wasn’t going to get him a house, a car, or a wife…

So he’d been forced to give up on starting a family.

Then he’d discovered that the moment he stopped caring about marriage and homeownership, the whole world opened up!

He started going to bed early and getting up late, cutting out overtime and all-nighters, spending his weekends gaming and watching anime…

Aside from being broke, dodging every kind of date, and having basically no in-person social life, three thousand a month was more than he could spend.

Though after a while, he’d gotten a bit…

useless.

But it had all been out of necessity.

In short, his past life had made him a slave to money — it had been rough.

Oryon pulled his gaze back inside.

Now that he’d transmigrated into this world — and had a cheat besides — he was determined to live it up.

Even if he turned out to be a Saiyan, he wasn’t going to fall for it — he’d stay cautious.

No way was he becoming a slave to power levels!

Otherwise he’d end up like Vegeta or Goku, wasting every single day training just to get stronger — and then what would be the point of transmigrating at all?

Wasn’t it so much better to bully the weak now and then and pick up a few more girls on the side?

As Bulma flew the plane, she kept sneaking glances at Oryon out of the corner of her eye.

His profile, his silhouette — everything about him was flawless, and it set her long-dormant girlish heart pounding all over again.

But…

Why couldn’t a handsome guy ever be faithful?

So frustrating!

The rest of the flight passed in silence, and the plane soon reached Kame House.

Bulma and Oryon got off the plane.

Oryon took a look around Kame House.

The place wasn’t big, but it faced the sea, warm with spring and blooming flowers.

There was already sun and sand here — throw in a few beautiful women, and what more could life possibly offer?

Master Roshi really knew how to live.

Just as Oryon was taking it all in, something soft looped around his arm.

He turned to find Bulma holding onto him with a resentful look, her eyes tinged with something distinctly jealous.

“Hey, don’t forget — you’re my boyfriend right now. Be a little more affectionate in front of my friends. I don’t want this falling apart!”

Oryon nodded, took the gift box from Bulma’s hand with his right, and caught her hand with his left.

Bulma froze for a moment, her lashes fluttering, and her eyes visibly softened.

“That’s more like it. We’re a couple now, so I’ll allow you to be as affectionate as you like — but only for today, only here!”

“All right, then I won’t hold back!”

With that, Oryon slipped his left hand free and wrapped it around Bulma’s slender waist, and the two of them walked toward Kame House together.

The practiced ease of the move made Bulma’s body shiver, a flush rising to her cheeks even as a faint bitterness stirred inside her.

The touch felt good, sure, but…

he was a little too smooth at this.

Just how many women had he wrapped his arm around before her?

Surely he hadn’t lost count already?

Whatever.

It was all just an act anyway — it didn’t matter.

Bulma pushed open the door to Kame House.

“Hey, long time no see, Master Roshi, Krillin, and Lunch!!!”

The three people inside — and the sea turtle — all turned their heads, and their faces lit up at the sight of Bulma.

“Oh-ho, Bulma’s here!”

“Morning, Bulma!”

Bulma smiled.

“I brought some food — everyone, help yourselves!”

Oryon immediately held out the gift box.

Master Roshi got up on his own and took the box from Oryon’s hands.

“Oh my, oh my, it really has been ages. All these years and you never once came to see us — how heartless!”

Lunch looked at Oryon, then turned to Bulma.

“Bulma, is this your boyfriend?”

Bulma nodded.

“Yep, that’s right. Let me introduce him — this is Oryon!”

Oryon glanced around at everyone and offered a polite greeting.

“Hello, everyone!”

Lunch looked Oryon over with bright eyes and complimented him.

“Bulma, your boyfriend’s so sunny and handsome — he really lives up to his name!”

Bulma smiled faintly.

“He’s decent, I guess. I mean, with my money and looks, the line of guys chasing me practically stretches from West City to Antarctica — what can I say?”

Lunch laughed.

“Bulma, I can’t believe after all these years, you’re still just as funny. Heh heh heh…”

“Come on, take a seat wherever. Goku should be here any minute…”
