Oryon’s mouth twitched for an instant.

Krillin spoke up at once.

“Hey, Lunch, what are you doing? He’s Bulma’s boyfriend — poaching another woman’s man right in front of her isn’t cool!”Full novel: Dragon Ball: But I Get Stronger by Taking Girls to Bed — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Lunch shot Krillin a glare, pulled a machine gun out of who-knows-where, and snapped, “That’s none of your business, Krillin!”

Krillin’s expression softened at once, and he backed off from her line of fire.

Lunch turned to Bulma.

“Bulma, didn’t you say the boys chasing you stretch from West City all the way to the South Pole? Losing one wouldn’t matter to you. But I’m different — I don’t have many young years left. Why not hand him over to me?”

Bulma’s mouth twitched again.

“Ah… well, this…”

Seeing that Bulma didn’t sound entirely firm, Lunch put on a pleading look.

“Can you, Bulma? Aren’t we old friends? Can you really bear to watch me grow old alone?”

Bulma looked into Lunch’s eyes.

That this blonde girl could actually swallow her pride and beg like this gave her pause, and she fell silent for a moment, weighing it.

Besides, she’d only brought Oryon along today to put on a show — once they got back, they’d go their separate ways anyway.

Handing him over to Lunch now would give her a graceful way out, and she wouldn’t need to explain anything later.

Wasn’t that the best of both worlds?

“Fine, I accept!”

Lunch hadn’t expected this outcome at all.

Overcome with excitement, she threw her arms around Bulma.

The two girls pressed together in an embrace — a genuinely lovely sight.

“Bulma, you’re the best. I’ve decided — you’re my best friend from now on…”

Oryon scratched his head and looked at Bulma.

“Wait, so are we broken up now?”

Bulma let go of Lunch and turned to Oryon.

“That’s right, we’re through. I dumped you.”

Oryon: “…”

I played along as your fake boyfriend to spare your dignity, and you dump me in front of everyone?

Doesn’t my dignity count for something?

Just as Oryon was about to lose his temper, Bulma continued, “But don’t worry — I’m not the irresponsible type.”

“As compensation, I’ll pay you fifty million as a breakup fee once we’re back. And remember — no clinging to me afterward!”

That was way more than he’d expected — Oryon’s anger vanished on the spot.

Lunch grabbed Oryon’s hand, her face flushing.

“You’re my boyfriend now. I’ve always liked men like you…”

“Hold on, Lunch, actually, I…”

“It’s fine, I don’t mind!”

“Bulma was generous enough about it, so I can’t be petty either.”

Lunch shot Bulma a sly glance and went on, “Even if the old spark between you two flares back up and you sneak around behind my back, I won’t mind.”

Bulma’s face went red.

“What are you talking about? I’d never do something like that…”

Lunch threw an arm around Bulma’s shoulder, beaming.

“Bulma, you really are my best friend!”

“Don’t worry, next time I rob someone, I’ll split the cash with you…”

Bulma quickly pried Lunch’s arm off and shook her head.

“No, no — my family isn’t short on money, you don’t need to give me any…”

Krillin stared at this bizarre scene between Bulma and Lunch, stunned into silence.

“Today’s a real eye-opener. Since when can you just give away your boyfriend?”

Bulma turned to Oryon.

“Listen up, you little punk — I may have just dumped you,”

“but Lunch is a great catch too, just a notch below me. You’re getting the better end of this deal!”

Oryon sighed helplessly.

“For fifty million, I’ll take it.”

Right at that moment, a tall figure dropped down in front of the group.

Everyone turned to look at the tall man.

He wore a Scouter on his face, and his hair stood up in spiky, hedgehog-like spikes — yet it was long, cascading loose all the way down to his waist.

Aside from the wrong hair color, he looked almost exactly like a Super Saiyan 3.

It was none other than Goku’s older brother — Raditz.

The moment he landed, his eyes locked onto Son Goku.

“Heh heh heh, you’ve grown up, but I recognized you at a glance, Kakarot!”

“You look exactly like your father.”

At the mention of resembling his father, Goku froze.

Who was this guy?

The others, too, caught the mind-blowing implications in Raditz’s words and turned to look at Goku.

Krillin asked, “Goku, who is this guy? What’s he talking about?”

“Goku, do you know him?” Bulma asked, just as curious.

Raditz frowned.

“Kakarot, don’t tell me you’ve forgotten your own brother.”

“Brother?”

The whole group startled.

“Since when does Goku have a brother?”

Krillin sized Raditz up in surprise.

Their auras felt completely different, but there was a faint family resemblance in their overall look.

Chi-Chi asked, just as curious, “Goku, why didn’t you ever tell me you had a brother?”

Raditz swept his gaze over the crowd, and seeing that Kakarot seemed to be on good terms with all of them, his brow knit.

“Hey, Kakarot, what’s going on with this planet?”

“Don’t tell me you’ve not only forgotten your own brother, but also forgotten your mission to wipe out the humans on this planet?”

“What?”

“A mission to wipe out humanity?”

Master Roshi felt a faint sense of foreboding.

“What exactly does that mean?”

Hearing him interrogate Goku like that irritated Krillin.

Goku was the man who’d beaten King Piccolo — who on this Earth could possibly be his match?

He stepped forward, shooting Raditz a look of contempt, and snapped, “Hey, you arrogant bastard, what nonsense are you spouting?”

“Pretending to be Goku’s brother is one thing, but going on about some mission to kill all humans? Did you get drunk in broad daylight?”

Seeing Krillin close in on Raditz, trying to chase him off, Goku’s face went pale with alarm.

“Krillin, don’t get close to him!”

But it was too late.

Fwip!

Raditz’s tail lashed out, and Krillin went flying.

With a sharp crack, Krillin’s body slammed backward into the wooden wall of Kame House, and everyone gasped in shock.

To take down Krillin in the blink of an eye — this man’s strength was on another level entirely.

Goku cried out, “Krillin!”

Oryon happened to be standing closest to Kame House, so he reached over and pulled Krillin free.

He wasn’t injured, but his energy had clearly taken a serious hit.

“Ow… what a monster. I didn’t even see how he hit me…”

Oryon explained, “He swept you with his tail.”

Realization dawned on Krillin.

“A tail — so that’s it. He’s got a tail just like Goku. What in the world is going on…”
