Spopovich 10: Chapter 10: Videl vs.

Spopovich Videl frowned and said, “I suggest you surrender now.” “Otherwise, you’re going to get hurt.” Spopovich merely grinned before charging straight at her with a roar.

Without the slightest fear, Videl rushed forward to meet him head-on.Full novel: Dragon Ball: Reborn as Supreme Kai — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Bang!

Spopovich was knocked to the ground.

But only moments later… He stood back up.

Despite the injuries covering his body, he was like an unstoppable beast that couldn’t feel pain.

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

Again and again, Videl sent Spopovich crashing to the ground.

Yet every single time… He simply stood back up as if nothing had happened.

As the battle dragged on, Videl’s stamina rapidly dwindled.

Soon, she was breathing heavily.

⸻ Backstage The Z Fighters also realized something was wrong.

The carefree expression on Goku’s face disappeared.

His expression turned serious.

“Gohan.” “If you tell her to withdraw now…” “It might still not be too late.” Krillin nodded.

“That big guy is really strange.” “He’s obviously covered in injuries…” “But he acts like he can’t feel any pain.” “None of those injuries seem to affect him.” “And after fighting this long…” “His stamina hasn’t dropped at all.” “But that girl’s almost exhausted.” ⸻ On the Tournament Stage Videl panted heavily.

Looking at the Spopovich she had just knocked down once again, she thought, Surely… He won’t get up this time.

Unfortunately… Reality betrayed her expectations.

The battered Spopovich slowly climbed to his feet once again.

Like an indestructible cockroach.

A flicker of fear crossed Videl’s eyes.

Even so… Her stubborn personality refused to let her retreat.

“What an annoying guy…” She gritted her teeth as Spopovich charged toward her once more.

Feeling that very little stamina remained… Videl realized she could no longer hold back.

She suddenly leaped into the air.

Her foot smashed into Spopovich’s face.

Then she spun in midair and drove a powerful elbow into his chest.

BOOM!!

Spopovich crashed heavily onto the arena floor.

Videl gasped for breath.

Those two attacks had contained every ounce of strength she had left.

She had deliberately targeted vital points.

He shouldn’t be able to stand up again.

In fact… He ought to be spending the next several days in the hospital.

But… Something unbelievable happened.

Spopovich slowly stood back up once more.

Grinning.

As though nothing had happened.

Videl stared at him in disbelief.

Clenching her teeth, she rushed in again.

After another relentless barrage of punches and kicks… She knocked him down once more.

She hadn’t held back in the slightest.

She was certain… There was no way he could get back up again.

But after unleashing that relentless assault… Her remaining stamina was nearly exhausted.

She bent over with her hands on her knees, gasping for breath.

⸻ Seeing Spopovich lying motionless, the announcer immediately began speaking excitedly.

“After Videl’s terrifying combination of attacks…” “I’m afraid Spopovich must be…” Before he could finish— Spopovich slowly crawled back to his feet.

The announcer froze.

Then let out a cry of astonishment that echoed throughout the stadium.

The audience was equally stunned.

A normal person who had suffered so many devastating blows would have spent months recovering in a hospital.

At the very least… They wouldn’t be standing up again.

Yet Spopovich merely grinned.

He wiped the blood from his mouth and stared at the exhausted Videl with a twisted smile.

⸻ “Videl!” Gohan shouted anxiously.

He finally realized just how serious the situation was.

There was something terribly wrong with Spopovich.

“Withdraw!” “Please, Videl!” ⸻ “Gohan!” Videl looked backstage.

She saw Gohan desperately signaling for her to surrender.

Turning back toward Spopovich… She gritted her teeth.

Simply raising her arms now required tremendous effort.

But… Her pride refused to let her surrender.

Not while the entire audience was watching.

“Hah!” Spopovich threw a massive punch.

Normally… Videl could have dodged it effortlessly and counterattacked.

But now… Her stamina was completely depleted.

Even avoiding the attack had become difficult.

Bang!

His fist crashed into her face.

Videl cried out as her slender body was launched through the air.

She hit the ground hard.

Refusing to give up, she forced herself back onto her feet with the last of her strength.

But the instant she stood… Spopovich rushed forward.

Bang!

His heavy kick slammed into her body.

“Ah!” Videl screamed as she was blasted toward the edge of the ring.

If she fell outside the arena… The match would be over.

Her expression changed.

Using every last bit of strength she had left… She desperately gathered her Ki.

She intended to use Flight.

⸻ Backstage Divine light flickered within Shin’s eyes.

His gaze pierced through the thick walls, allowing him to observe everything happening in the arena.

When he saw Videl attempting to use Flight… Knowing exactly what would happen next— And unwilling to waste any more time— A faint divine light flashed in his eyes.

⸻ On the Arena Videl’s expression changed dramatically.

The Ki she had just gathered… Suddenly dispersed.

The Flight technique failed before it could activate.

Instead of recovering herself… She fell completely out of bounds.

Lying on the grass outside the ring, Videl stared blankly upward.

What happened…?

Why did my Ki suddenly disappear?

Was I simply too exhausted…?

Thinking that… A look of bitter frustration appeared on her face.

The announcer stared at her for a moment before raising his microphone.

“Out of bounds!” “Videl has fallen outside the ring!” “The winner…” “…is Spopovich!” His announcement echoed throughout the stadium.

The crowd responded with disappointed sighs.

⸻ “Videl…” In the audience, Videl’s best friend, Erasa, watched worriedly.

Although she felt sorry that Videl had lost… She was also relieved.

At least… The fight was finally over.

She wouldn’t have to continue facing such a terrifying opponent.

⸻ “Raaaah!” Despite winning… Spopovich showed no joy whatsoever.

Originally… He had intended to brutally torture Videl.

He despised Mr.

Satan.

And because Videl was Mr.

Satan’s daughter… His hatred extended to her as well.

He had never expected to accidentally kick her out of the ring so quickly.

Now… He regretted ending the match.

A murderous gleam flashed in his eyes.

Ignoring the tournament rules… He prepared to attack Videl anyway.

At that moment— “Spopovich!” His tall, thin companion shouted sharply.

Spopovich turned toward him.

The man glared coldly.

“Don’t ruin the mission.” “Or I won’t forgive you.” Although unwilling… Spopovich forcibly suppressed his killing intent.

He slowly stepped down from the ring.

Even so… His vicious gaze remained fixed on Videl.

As though he wanted to devour her alive.
