A refreshing breeze swept past, dispersing the gloom that had shrouded their hearts.
“A year of fear and worry has finally ended.” Krillin sighed deeply.
“Tomorrow is a new beginning.” He recalled the arduous and extraordinary training he had undergone at Kami’s Lookout over the past year.
In the end, however, it was still Goku who delivered the final blow and resolved all the trouble.
“Goku, how did you train in the Other World this year?
Your power is unbelievably great.” Krillin felt Goku’s strength was like a beautiful and fleeting dream.
The sense of unreality was overwhelming.
The days when they were young, learning martial arts together under Master Roshi, were still vivid in his memory.
Now, in terms of martial arts training, Goku had left him far behind, completely out of sight.
Piccolo, Tien Shinhan, Yamcha, and the others all turned toward Son Goku.
They also considered this question extremely important.
Son Goku did not keep them in suspense.
Concealing the truth about his reincarnation, he recounted his training experiences in the Other World in detail.
“Dad is so amazing!
And Grandpa King Kai is so kind.” Gohan shouted happily.
What child had never dreamed of having an invincible and omnipotent father?
Gohan naturally shared that dream.
His innocent words immediately made everyone burst into laughter.
The joy and happiness of victory filled the land after the great battle.
Gohan looked around in confusion, vaguely wondering what the adults were laughing about.
“King Kai taught me everything he knew.
That’s why I was able to achieve what I have today.” In the end, Son Goku summarized his training experience.
Everyone listened attentively before letting out sighs of admiration.
“Goku, you benefited greatly from training with King Kai.” Recalling the events of his previous life, Son Goku said, “Vegeta and Nappa have been dealt with, but there is still one urgent matter we need to handle.” “What is it?” Krillin asked in confusion.
The Saiyans had already been driven away, and Earth was currently peaceful.
Son Goku raised his head toward the vast starry sky, as though he could already see a lush green planet floating among the stars.
“Since Vegeta failed to obtain Earth’s Dragon Balls, he will go looking for the Dragon Balls on Planet Namek.” In the previous timeline, Vegeta returned from Earth in defeat.
After recovering, his strength increased dramatically.
In pursuit of immortality and a chance to overthrow Frieza, he followed Frieza to Planet Namek and even slaughtered an entire Namekian village.
The remaining Namekians were massacred by Frieza’s forces.
Only later were they revived through wishes made using the Namekian Dragon Balls.
“We need to stop that from happening.” Son Goku thought silently.
Setting aside the wish-granting power of the Dragon Balls, the peaceful Namekians should not suffer such a calamity because of events that originated on Earth.
Krillin clenched his fist firmly.
“Given Vegeta’s ambition and cruelty, he will definitely go.
We have to stop him.” As he spoke, he looked toward Son Goku.
Among everyone present, only Son Goku possessed the strength to stop Vegeta.
Piccolo’s ears twitched as he listened carefully to every word.
“If Vegeta refuses to give up, then we’ll beat him until he does.” Piccolo snorted coldly.
“I regretted not getting the chance to fight him earlier.
If he’s going to cause trouble on Planet Namek, then Planet Namek can serve as the battlefield instead.” “Son Goku, take me to Planet Namek.” Piccolo’s eyes blazed with determination.
Son Goku turned and stared at him without blinking.
That unwavering and openly curious gaze immediately made Piccolo uncomfortable.
“Son Goku, what are you staring at?” Son Goku burst out laughing.
After a moment, he spoke meaningfully.
“Piccolo, are you worried about Planet Namek?” Piccolo snorted coldly.
“Me?
King Piccolo?
Someone with no family and no friends?
Why would I have such feelings?
Stop flattering yourself.
Only battle interests me.” “Oh?
Is that so?” Son Goku clearly did not believe him.
The others suppressed their laughter.
Piccolo’s contradictory attitude was strangely amusing.
Who would have imagined that the former Demon King who once sought to conquer Earth would one day react this way?
Piccolo turned his head away expressionlessly.
Despite constantly maintaining the demeanor of the mighty King Piccolo and acting as though he were the most important being in the universe, he was actually only a few years old.
His emotional world had always been empty and lonely.
Training Gohan over the past year had filled some of that emptiness.
Now that he had learned he was an alien and a Namekian from another world, it was only natural that a subtle sense of concern and yearning for his ancestral home would emerge.
“Harming innocent lives is wrong by nature.” Son Goku nodded slightly.
“Vegeta will not easily abandon his obsession with immortality.
More importantly, he isn’t the only one coveting the Namekian Dragon Balls.
There is someone even stronger.” The news of Earth’s Dragon Balls had most likely already reached Frieza.
Knowing Frieza’s ambition, Son Goku was certain he would never ignore the opportunity to obtain eternal life.
Although reincarnation had changed many things, Son Goku believed it would not affect Frieza’s decision.
The trip to Planet Namek was inevitable.
“Ah?” Krillin cried out in surprise.
“Other aliens know about the Dragon Balls too?” Yamcha looked equally stunned.
Piccolo’s eyes narrowed as he reviewed the day’s events.
“The enemy you’re talking about…
could it be Frieza, the one Vegeta mentioned?” Son Goku glanced at Piccolo in surprise.
Piccolo truly possessed a sharp mind.
He could piece together an entire situation from the smallest clues.
“Yes.
It’s Frieza.” Son Goku nodded approvingly.
Seeing that they still lacked context, he continued his explanation.
“Frieza is known as the Emperor of the Universe.
He has countless powerful subordinates under his command.
Strictly speaking, Vegeta and Nappa are both members of the Frieza Force.” “For decades, the Frieza Force has rampaged throughout the universe.
They slaughter native populations on beautiful planets and then sell those planets to wealthy races for enormous profits.” Piccolo’s expression subtly changed.
From Son Goku’s description alone, one could imagine how terrifying Frieza truly was.
If Frieza targeted Planet Namek for its Dragon Balls, then Planet Namek was in grave danger.
“We need to warn them.” Gohan looked anxious.
Since Piccolo’s people were in danger, he could not help feeling worried.
“Dad, can we notify the Namekians and have them evacuate in advance?” Son Goku gently rubbed Gohan’s head.
“That’s exactly what I’m thinking.” He paused before continuing.
“The Grand Elder of Planet Namek possesses a special ability.
He can unlock a person’s latent potential and greatly increase their battle power.” In the previous timeline, both Krillin and Gohan had received this gift, increasing their strength dramatically.
He did not want them to miss that opportunity this time.
“Unlocking potential?” Tien Shinhan glanced sideways.
“Is it similar to Korin’s Ultra Divine Water?” “The Grand Elder’s ability is much stronger than the Ultra Divine Water.
More importantly, it has absolutely no side effects.” Son Goku explained the Grand Elder’s ability in detail.
“We can travel to Planet Namek, receive the Grand Elder’s potential unlock, and then deal with Vegeta and Frieza.” Krillin immediately became excited.
“If that’s true, we can become stronger and stop the villains from obtaining the Dragon Balls.” Piccolo clenched his fists tightly.
Cracking sounds echoed from his knuckles as the desire to become stronger flashed through his eyes.
“Stronger.
I need to become stronger.” “A good teacher’s guidance is better than training alone.” Tien Shinhan sighed regretfully.
“Setting everything else aside, the environment on King Kai’s Planet alone is far superior to Earth for martial arts training.” “Exactly.” Krillin chuckled.
“It’s just a shame that only dead people can go there.
I wonder if we’ve accumulated enough merit to keep our bodies after death.” Son Goku recalled how, in the previous timeline, Piccolo, Tien Shinhan, Chiaotzu, and Yamcha had trained with King Kai after being killed by the Saiyans.
“If you want to train on King Kai’s Planet, I actually know a way.” A slight smile appeared on Son Goku’s face.
“Really?” Everyone immediately fixed eager eyes upon him.
Nearly everyone present was passionate about martial arts.
The possibility of training under King Kai instantly stirred their hearts.
“Of course.” Son Goku nodded.
“I learned a technique called Instant Transmission.
It’s a miraculous ability that allows travel between the living world and the Other World.” Looking around at his excited companions, he could clearly see their desire to grow stronger.
“Who wants to go?” “I do.” Krillin answered immediately.
Although Goku had surpassed him long ago, he had no intention of giving up.
Instead, he felt even more motivated.
“How could I miss an opportunity like that?
Count me in.” Tien Shinhan laughed.
“If Tien Shinhan is going, then I’m definitely going too.” Chiaotzu nodded without hesitation.
The two of them had always advanced and retreated together.
Son Goku was not surprised and shifted his gaze toward Piccolo.
Piccolo nodded calmly.
If there was a chance to become stronger, he would never let it pass him by.
“Ah…
well…” Yamcha rubbed his nose helplessly before waving his hand.
“If all of you are going, then naturally I, Yamcha, can’t fall behind.” “Haha, alright.
Once everything on Planet Namek is settled, we’ll go together.” Son Goku promised.
While everyone continued chatting, the roar of an engine suddenly echoed through the sky.
Bulma, Master Roshi, Chi-Chi, and the Ox-King stepped out of an aircraft one after another.
“Wah!
Gohan, are you alright?” Chi-Chi rushed forward with tears in her eyes and tightly hugged Gohan.
Not knowing what to do, Gohan simply let her hold him.
“Goku!
Yamcha!
Are you two okay?” Bulma hurried over and circled Son Goku nervously.
After confirming that he was completely fine, she finally relaxed.
Yamcha recalled the Saibaman’s self-destruction and still felt lingering fear.
“There was an incredibly violent energy earlier.
What happened?” Master Roshi asked curiously.
When he learned that Son Goku had transformed into a Super Saiyan and defeated the invading Saiyans, all of his worries immediately vanished.
“Good!
Good!
Good!” Master Roshi grinned from ear to ear.
“This is the disciple I taught.” He felt incomparably proud.
“By the way, where are those two Saiyans?” Krillin pointed toward the star-filled sky.
“Goku let them go.
They already left Earth.” Master Roshi merely nodded.
That decision fit Goku’s character perfectly.
Krillin then enthusiastically acted as commentator, vividly recounting everything that had happened during the battle.
The listeners were stunned.
The terrifying Saiyans who had cast a shadow over Earth for an entire year had been defeated so easily.
Yet somehow it felt natural.
After all, the person who accomplished it was Goku.
A man who constantly created miracles.
“Haha!
This is wonderful.
The Saiyan problem is finally solved.
Tonight, I’m treating everyone to a huge feast.” Bulma waved her hand grandly, displaying the generosity of the richest woman on Earth.
Everyone was invited to Capsule Corporation for a celebration.
Having rarely seen Tien Shinhan, Yamcha, and the others in his previous life, Son Goku had already wanted to do something like this.
The others also welcomed the opportunity to reunite after years apart.
Even Piccolo, who initially wanted to refuse, eventually gave in under Gohan’s pleading gaze.
Earth’s first victory celebration officially began.
Food and drinks flowed freely.
Stories from years of training were exchanged amid constant laughter.
Son Goku and Gohan ate with astonishing appetites, fully displaying their Saiyan nature and leaving Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu utterly dumbfounded.
“For those planning to go to Planet Namek, let’s meet at Kame House in three days.” After the feast ended and everyone prepared to leave, Son Goku made arrangements with Krillin and the others before parting ways.
