The hatch slammed open, and a large group of heavily armed warriors poured out of the spaceship.
Without hesitation, they walked straight toward Vegeta and knelt down.
“Greetings, Lord Vegeta!”
Hundreds of voices rang out simultaneously, their attitudes extremely respectful.
“What are you people?”
Vegeta crossed his arms and coldly examined the uninvited guests.
The crowd parted, allowing a burly man with a long scar across his left eye to step forward.
“It’s been a long time, Prince Vegeta.”
The scarred man smiled.
“Oh?
You’re a Saiyan too.”
Vegeta frowned and clenched his fists.
Just how many Saiyans had survived?
Originally, he believed that only himself, Kakarot, and his useless younger brother Tarble remained.
Then Karan, a freakishly powerful monster, had appeared.
And now another Saiyan had shown up.
Apparently, more than a few Saiyans had escaped Frieza’s destruction of Planet Vegeta.
“Your servant, Paragus, greets Your Highness.”
Paragus knelt on one knee.
“What do you want?” Vegeta snorted impatiently.
Sensing the other’s ki, Vegeta found Paragus’ power level insignificant and felt no hostility toward him.
If it had been another monster like Karan, he would have exploded in anger already.
“Your servant has come to invite Your Highness to New Planet Vegeta and ascend the throne as king.”
Paragus lowered his head respectfully.
“As long as you lead us, the Saiyan race will once again make the entire universe tremble and restore our former glory.”
“New Planet Vegeta?”
Vegeta curled his lip in disdain.
Years ago, this news would have thrilled him.
But now, he no longer cared.
Ever since leaving Planet Vegeta, he had learned that the universe was filled with terrifying monsters.
His only goal now was to train until he could crush Kakarot and Karan beneath his feet.
As for becoming king, he had no interest.
“Get lost!”
Vegeta turned away.
“I don’t care about some worthless throne.
Never come back to Earth again, or I’ll make sure you never leave.”
Paragus frowned.
A trace of ruthlessness flashed across his eyes, but he quickly hid it.
“King Vegeta, the Legendary Super Saiyan is currently wreaking havoc throughout the South Galaxy.”
Paragus smiled faintly.
“I’m afraid only you can defeat him.
If you don’t intervene, New Planet Vegeta will eventually be destroyed.”
“What?”
“The Legendary Super Saiyan?”
Vegeta immediately turned around.

Future Trunks hurried over.

“Get out of my way!”
Vegeta shoved his son aside and headed toward the spaceship.
Ever since Kakarot and Karan had appeared, they had stolen all the glory.
This time, he would personally defeat the Legendary Super Saiyan and prove himself.
“Prince Trunks, since you possess the royal bloodline, please board the ship as well.”
Paragus gestured respectfully.
“Gohan, let’s go together.”
Future Trunks felt uneasy and wanted additional support.
“Okay.”
Gohan nodded and boarded the spaceship with him.
Meanwhile, inside a prestigious middle school in West City, Goku and Chi-Chi sat together during Gohan’s entrance interview.
Chi-Chi had dressed up especially for the occasion, while Goku struggled to stay awake through the principal’s endless speech.
“Goku!
Hurry over!
Something terrible has happened!”
King Kai’s anxious voice suddenly rang out in Goku’s mind.
“Huh?
King Kai?”
Goku blinked.
Everything on Earth seemed peaceful.
Why did King Kai sound so panicked?
“Stop wasting time and come to my planet immediately!
This isn’t something I can explain quickly!”
King Kai shouted.
“I can’t, King Kai.”
Goku lowered his voice.
“If I run away now, Chi-Chi will definitely starve me.”
“This concerns the fate of the entire universe!”
King Kai yelled.
“As for food, leave that to me!
I’ll make sure you eat your fill!”
“Is it really that serious?”
Goku’s eyes immediately brightened.
“Alright then!
As long as there’s food!”
Without another word, Goku placed two fingers on his forehead.
Whoosh!
Using Instant Transmission, he vanished, leaving behind an infuriated Chi-Chi.
“So what happened, King Kai?”
“If this isn’t important, Chi-Chi is going to kill me when I get home.”
Goku shoveled food into his mouth at an unbelievable speed.
King Kai sighed helplessly.
“You glutton.”
His expression quickly became serious.
“Goku, remember when I told you that South Kai was killed and Bojack escaped?”
Goku nodded while chewing.
“I remember.”
“The one who killed South Kai was the Legendary Super Saiyan.”
Pfft!
Goku sprayed rice all over King Kai’s face.
“The Legendary Super Saiyan?”
His eyes lit up immediately.
“Someone even stronger than me?”
“Of course!”
King Kai frantically wiped the rice off his face.
“He’s a monster that appears only once every thousand years!”
“He rampaged across the South Galaxy, destroyed countless planets, and even killed South Kai!”
“His next target will most likely be the North Galaxy!”
“He’s that strong?”
Instead of fear, Goku grinned excitedly and began stretching.
“Hearing that really gets my blood pumping!”
“Idiot!
Don’t get excited yet!”
King Kai angrily poured cold water on him.
“This madman’s power is unfathomable.
He’s definitely stronger than you and Vegeta.”
King Kai paused before continuing.
“If things go badly, even Karan, who recently appeared on Earth, might not be his match.”
This wasn’t an exaggeration.
A Legendary Super Saiyan who appeared only once every thousand years was far beyond ordinary Saiyans.
