“So I’m planning to take you on a vacation to another planet.

Naturally, the vacation wasn’t his only goal.
There was something else he wanted to investigate.
He still couldn’t determine which timeline he had arrived in.
Was it the Dragon Ball Super timeline?
Or was it Dragon Ball GT?
Considering that the Legendary Super Saiyan Broly had appeared so early, the chances of it being closer to the GT timeline seemed much higher.
Still, that was only speculation.
He needed to explore the universe himself and gather evidence.
“We’re going to another planet for a vacation?”

Bulma walked over with a cup of coffee and greeted him warmly.
Although they hadn’t met often, Bulma’s outgoing personality made her easy to get along with.
Besides, Karan had defeated both Cell and Bojack, making him one of Earth’s greatest heroes.
“I need a favor.”
Karan got straight to the point.
“Can you make a Dragon Radar for me?”
“A Dragon Radar?”
Bulma smiled.
“That’s easy.
I already have one lying around.
You can take it if you need it.”
“Wait.
I’m not finished.”
Karan stopped her.
“What I want isn’t an ordinary Dragon Radar.
I want a Super Dragon Ball Radar.”
“In other words, an upgraded version.”
“It needs a detection range far beyond Earth’s Dragon Radar.
Ideally, something capable of scanning the entire universe.”
His goal was simple.
He wanted to locate the Super Dragon Balls.
If he could detect them, then that would prove he was in the Dragon Ball Super timeline.
And if he managed to collect one or two, they would undoubtedly prove useful in the future.
Bulma rubbed her chin thoughtfully.
“So, you want a high-end detector with a ridiculously large range?”
“That’s right.”
Karan nodded.
“How long will it take?”
“Hmm…”
Bulma thought for a moment.
“Give me three days.
If I drag Dad into the lab and make him work overtime, we might finish even sooner.”
“Fine.
There’s no rush.
Just let me know when it’s done.”

At that moment, the two of them were staying on a planet in the East Galaxy called Cupiswo.
Although sparsely populated, the planet possessed breathtaking scenery, with green mountains and crystal-clear lakes everywhere.
Sitting beside a quiet lake, Karan stared at the motionless radar in his hand and frowned.
“We’ve searched so many places and haven’t found anything.”
“It really doesn’t seem like the Dragon Ball Super timeline.”
In Dragon Ball Super, the Super Dragon Balls were scattered across Universe 6 and Universe 7.
Yet after half a year of traveling, the radar hadn’t detected a single signal.
That alone spoke volumes.
“What’s wrong?”
Android 18 emerged from the lake and walked over.
“Didn’t you find what you were looking for?”
She sat directly on Karan’s lap and wrapped her arms around him.
“Not really.”
Karan sighed and held her slender waist.
“Things are different from what I expected.”
“I guess I came up empty-handed.”
“Don’t be so discouraged.”
Android 18 gently held his face and smiled.
“The universe is enormous.
We’ve barely explored anything.”
“Maybe if we visit a few more places, we’ll eventually find it.”
“You’re right.”
Feeling the warmth in his arms, Karan smiled.
“There’s no need to deliberately search anymore.”
“From now on, let’s just enjoy ourselves and treat this as a real vacation.”
After all, whether the Super Dragon Balls existed or not didn’t matter much to him anymore.
