Soon afterward, Karan escorted her to a city hundreds of thousands of kilometers away.
Then, he returned alone to a desolate wasteland.
“Super Saiyan 4.”
“As long as I overcome this hurdle, there’ll be few people in this universe capable of threatening me.”
Karan clenched his fists, excitement shining in his eyes.
Without hesitation, he acted immediately.
Raising his right hand, he condensed a dazzling silver sphere of energy.

Taking a deep breath, Karan threw the sphere into the sky.
The brilliant orb transformed into a full moon, bathing the wasteland in silver light.
Karan stared at the artificial moon.

After only three seconds, it felt as though electricity had surged through his mind.
The primal instinct hidden deep within his Saiyan bloodline awakened completely.

His heart pounded violently.
All the hair on his body stood on end.

His heartbeat grew louder and louder, resembling the beating of war drums.
His blood boiled like molten lava.

In an instant, his clothing burst apart.
His facial features twisted, and his eyes turned blood red.
Thick black fur rapidly spread across his body.
“ROAR!”
A savage howl erupted from deep within his throat.
It was as though an ancient beast had awakened.
He transformed into a gigantic Great Ape resembling a moving mountain.
His entire body was covered in dark fur as hard as steel needles, while sharp fangs protruded from his mouth.
“ROAR!”
The Great Ape pounded its chest and roared toward the sky.
Boom!
A terrifying shockwave spread in all directions.
Several nearby mountain peaks were instantly crushed flat by the overwhelming pressure.
Dust filled the air.
“I’m still conscious?”
“How is that possible?”
The enormous Great Ape was not consumed by madness.
On the contrary, Karan’s mind had never been clearer.
He was genuinely surprised.
From what Vegeta had boasted in the past, only Saiyans of royal blood could retain their reason after transforming into Great Apes.
Even Son Goku and Gohan had completely lost themselves after transforming.
Perhaps his soul, strengthened by transmigration, was responsible.
Or perhaps it was the work of the System.
Either way, remaining sane was the best possible outcome.
At least he didn’t have to worry about destroying the planet.
“Since I can still control myself, I’ll go straight for Super Saiyan 4!”
Karan tightened his mountain-sized fists.

Brilliant golden energy erupted from his massive body.
In an instant, the giant Great Ape became enveloped in dazzling golden light.
