“Ding!
Current Host Base Power Level: 13.1 Billion.”
Alex smiled to himself.
‘Goku already boosted his base power by two billion?
Not bad at all.
By the time he steps out of that chamber, Vegeta won’t stand a chance against him.
Once the Prince realizes that, he’ll be desperate to join my dojo.’
Seeing the absolute shock frozen on the faces of the Z Fighters, Tien offered a reassuring smile.
“Is it really that surprising for Goku to take Master Alex as his teacher?
You all just saw how incredibly powerful Master is.”
Krillin and the others exchanged glances and slowly nodded.
He had a point.
Ring!
Ring!
Bulma’s phone suddenly buzzed.
She checked the caller ID and her eyes lit up.
“It’s my sister, Tights!”
“Answer it,” Alex urged.
Things were falling into place perfectly today.
Goku had just blessed him with a massive power level boost, and now Tights was calling right on cue.
Bulma picked up the call and immediately asked for Jaco’s contact information.
Since Tights regularly traveled with the Galactic Patrolman, she passed the details along without issue.
After a brief chat, Bulma hung up.
“I got his contact info,” she told Alex.
“Perfect.
Could you do me a favor and call him?
Ask him to bring a map of the universe to Earth for me.”
“Sure thing!” Bulma agreed without a second of hesitation.
She was a brilliant businesswoman; she knew that by helping an impossibly powerful deity with a favor, he would owe her one in return.
That kind of leverage was priceless.
“Thank you.”
Krillin and the others were thoroughly confused as to why Alex needed a universe map, but since they had literally just met the man, they knew better than to pry.
Bulma wasted no time and dialed Jaco’s number.
A few moments later, she ended the call and turned back to Alex.
“All set.
He said he’ll be dropping by Earth in a few days and he’ll bring the map with him.”
“That’s fantastic.
Thank you so much, Bulma.”
“Don’t mention it!” Bulma smiled brightly.
“You’re Goku’s master, which makes you a friend.
Alex nodded in agreement.
Internally, he couldn’t help but marvel at Vegeta’s insane luck.
The guy had essentially won the cosmic lottery with his wife.
Bulma was beautiful, obscenely wealthy, deeply supportive, and incredibly socially adept.
She was the ultimate partner.
It made perfect sense why, later on in the Super timeline, Vegeta would throw away his pride and fiercely attack the terrifying God of Destruction, Beerus, just for laying a hand on her.
Beneath that thick, arrogant exterior, the Saiyan Prince truly cared for his wife.
Alex stood up.
“Well everyone, my business here is concluded, so I’ll be taking my leave.”
Standing off to the side with his arms tightly crossed, Vegeta glared at him.
“Where is Kakarot training?” he demanded coldly.
Even if he despised the idea of speaking to this man, he hated the thought of Kakarot surpassing him even more.
It was a matter of pride.
Alex saw no reason to hide it.
“In the Super Hyperbolic Time Chamber.”
Without giving Vegeta a chance to process the answer, Alex rocketed into the sky, heading back to his dojo.
Treating Vegeta with a bit of cold dismissal was the best way to crush his massive ego.
Once his pride was shattered, he would eventually submit sincerely, guaranteeing Alex another sweet system reward.
Tien stepped forward.
“I need to get back to my training as well.
Take care, everyone!” With that, he and Chiaotzu took to the air, following Alex’s ki signature.
Vegeta stood rooted to the spot, his fists trembling.
“That bastard Kakarot…
he actually sneaked off to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber behind my back!” Without another word, he blasted into the sky, rocketing straight toward Kami’s Lookout.
“Vegeta!” Bulma yelled at the sonic boom he left behind.
She sighed in exasperation.
“Honestly, Saiyans are so reckless!
He just runs off without saying a single word!”
Krillin chuckled awkwardly.
“Looks like Vegeta’s heading straight for the Lookout.”
Piccolo, who had been standing quietly in thought, suddenly spoke up.
“He won’t find Goku there.”
“Huh?
Why not?” Krillin asked, looking confused.
“Didn’t Alex just say he was in the chamber?”
“Alex said Goku is in the Super Hyperbolic Time Chamber,” Piccolo corrected flatly.
“The one on the Lookout is just the regular Hyperbolic Time Chamber.
He specifically added the word ‘Super’.”
The group blinked.
Now that Piccolo pointed it out, the distinction was obvious.
Bulma waved a hand dismissively.
“Whatever.
Let him go waste his time.
It’s his own fault for not listening properly.”
Seeing that the drama had settled, Piccolo turned to leave.
“I’m heading back to train as well.”
Having sensed Tien’s massive leap in power, Piccolo felt a rare sting of urgency.
If he slacked off now, Tien would completely surpass him.
And getting left in the dust by someone who used to be weaker than him was simply unacceptable.
As the rest of the fighters prepared to head out, Bulma clapped her hands together.
“Oh, wait!
Before you all go, I have an announcement!
Next month is my birthday, and I’m hosting a massive party on a luxury cruise ship!”
“Congratulations, Bulma!” they cheered.
Bulma shot a sly, knowing smile at Android 18.
“18, I’m hosting a huge raffle during the party.
The grand prize is incredibly generous.
You won’t want to miss it!”
Android 18’s eyes instantly lit up.
A grand prize from the richest woman on Earth?
That absolutely meant a mountain of cash.
“Count me in, Bulma.
I’m definitely walking away with that first prize.”
“Haha!
We’ll see about that!” Bulma laughed.
Krillin smiled at his wife’s excitement, then looked back at Bulma.
“So, Bulma…
which birthday is this exactly?
How old are you turning?”
Bulma’s face instantly darkened.
Beside Krillin, Android 18 shot him a lethal glare.
“Don’t you know you never ask a woman her age?!” Bulma snapped fiercely.
“If anyone asks, I’m turning eighteen!”
Krillin chuckled nervously, rubbing the back of his head in retreat.
After chatting for a few more minutes, the group finally dispersed.
Meanwhile, high above the clouds, Vegeta touched down heavily on Kami’s Lookout.
Dende was the current Guardian of Earth, accompanied by the ever-loyal Mr.
Popo.
Seeing Vegeta storming toward them with a murderous scowl and an aura of pure ice, Dende instinctively flinched, taking a nervous step back.
“V-Vegeta?!”
