The three of them stepped out into the courtyard.

Tien’s expression shifted into dead seriousness as he took to the sky, hovering high above the ground.

He placed his right hand over his left, his pinky and index fingers touching, and pressed his thumbs together to form a diamond shape.Full novel: Dragon Ball Super: The Lazy Master Gets Double Rewards — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Aiming through the gap at a nearby mountain peak, he breathed in.

Following Alex’s instructions, he reined in his ki, guiding the flow of energy smoothly through his meridians as it built up to a terrifying density.

“Super—” he shouted, “Tri-Beam!”

BOOM!

A blinding beam of golden light erupted from his hands, tearing through the air with devastating force.

The blast slammed dead-center into the mountainside.

A deafening explosion shook the earth, kicking up a massive cloud of dust and debris.

When the smoke finally cleared, a terrifying, crater-like hole dozens of meters deep had been gouged straight into the solid rock.

Flocks of birds and wild animals scattered in sheer panic.

Tien stared at his hands in absolute disbelief.

“I…

I did that?” he muttered.

‘My normal Tri-Beam could do that kind of damage…

but only if I pushed myself to the absolute limit.’ Usually, firing a blast that powerful would leave his veins bulging and drain his stamina dry.

But by applying his new master’s ki circulation method, he had easily reached maximum output without any of the agonizing physical blowback.

It was absurdly powerful.

‘Did I really just pull that off?’ Looking from the smoking crater in the mountain back to his trembling hands, he had to accept the reality.

It was all real.

He descended quickly, landing next to Alex with a look of pure joy.

“Thank you for your guidance, Master!” he said respectfully.

“Is there anything else I need to focus on?”

“Not bad,” Alex nodded.

“Keep practicing.

Once you perfect your energy control, the destructive power will increase, and the charge time will drop even further.”

“Understood, Master!”

Alex turned his attention to the floating little psychic.

“Your turn, Chiaotzu.”

“Yes, Master!”

Chiaotzu floated a few meters forward, raised his right hand, and pointed his index finger at a massive tree in the distance.

Energy surged around his small frame.

“Giant Dodon Ray!”

Zing!

What was normally a finger-thin laser instantly expanded into a blast the size of a boulder.

It charged just as fast as his standard attack, but the sheer volume of energy had multiplied dozens of times over.

The beam obliterated the ancient tree, blowing the trunk apart with a thunderous crash as the heavy canopy collapsed to the ground.

Chiaotzu stared wide-eyed at the splintered remains, looking utterly stunned.

He never imagined his Dodon Ray could do something like that.

Calling it ‘Giant’ was definitely an understatement.

He floated back to Alex and bowed deeply.

“Thank you, Master!”

“Chiaotzu, I can tell you’re not a fighter at heart,” Alex said gently.

“You prefer just being here to support Tien.

So, you can take a more relaxed approach to your physical training.

Honestly, you’d be better off focusing on your psychic abilities.”

Alex knew Chiaotzu had incredible utility skills—precognition, telepathy, and ki sensing.

If he actually developed those properly, he would be a massive asset.

Forcing Chiaotzu to focus purely on destructive moves like the Dodon Ray would be a waste of his true talents.

Chiaotzu felt a wave of relief, as he never really liked intense physical training anyway.

“Yes, Master.”

After a brief pause, Alex turned back to Tien.

“Tien, I have one more treasure to give you.”

Rather than asking what it was, Tien immediately bowed.

“Thank you, Master!”

It hadn’t even been an hour since he took Alex as his teacher, but he already knew one thing for certain: whatever this man gave him was going to be absolutely extraordinary.

Alex raised an eyebrow.

“Aren’t you even a little curious about what it is?”

“I am,” Tien replied honestly.

“But since you’re about to show me anyway, I wouldn’t want to waste your breath asking!”

Alex laughed.

“Fair enough!”

He raised his hand, gathering a soft glow of energy in his palm, and pressed it directly against Tien’s chest.

Both Tien and Chiaotzu looked on in confusion, wondering what kind of technique this was.

But neither of them interrupted.

Mentally, Alex gave the command.

‘System, use the Three-Eyed Celestial Bloodline on Tien!’

The system responded instantly.

“Ding!

Three-Eyed Celestial Bloodline successfully applied to Tien Shinhan!”

In that exact moment, a violent shudder ran through Tien’s body.

He could physically feel every cell in his being undergoing a radical transformation.

Standing nearby, Chiaotzu gasped as an overwhelmingly dominant aura erupted from his friend.

The third eye on Tien’s forehead suddenly burst with a strange, brilliant light, as if it could pierce through the very fabric of reality to see the truth of the world.

Hearing the system prompt, Alex slowly pulled his hand back.

“I’ve just awakened the Three-Eyed Celestial Bloodline within you,” he said casually.

“Make sure you put it to good use.”

Tien’s jaw practically hit the floor.

He stared at Alex, completely paralyzed, before finally managing to stammer, “M-Master…

what did you just say?

The Celestial…

Bloodline?”

Being a descendant of the Three-Eyed clan, he knew exactly what that meant.

It was the absolute highest, purest lineage their race possessed.

Every single member of his clan dreamed of holding that bloodline.

Not only did it guarantee a massive surge in potential, but it was also a supreme symbol of status.

Any ordinary Three-Eyed clan member who encountered a Celestial would have to drop to their knees and worship them as a god.

So, when Alex casually mentioned handing him the ultimate genetic inheritance, Tien’s brain simply stopped working.

A cold shock ran through his veins, leaving him rooted to the spot like a statue.

Alex knew perfectly well what this meant to Tien.

It was the equivalent of a commoner suddenly being crowned emperor of the universe.

He smiled faintly.

“You heard me.

The Three-Eyed Celestial Bloodline.”

Hearing the confirmation, Tien’s legs gave out.

He dropped to his knees with a heavy thud, bowing frantically in sheer overwhelming emotion.

“Thank you, Master!

Thank you!” he choked out.

“I swear I will never betray your expectations!

I’ll train harder than ever—I won’t waste a single second!”

This was exactly the kind of motivation Alex wanted.

The harder his disciples trained, the faster his own power level would skyrocket.

“I believe you,” Alex smiled.

“Which is why I have one more gift prepared for you.”

Another one?

Tien’s head snapped up.

He was already drowning in gratitude, but now his eyes shone with eager anticipation.

“Thank you, Master!”

“Don’t thank me just yet,” Alex smirked.

“This next gift is going to leave you completely drenched in sweat.”
