An hour after they started the celebration, Do-yoon left to rest in his room.

Though, Si-woo could sense they would be having a serious chat in the morning.

Jin-woo left not long after, as he was tired and needed to get some rest.Full novel: Dragon god in the multiverse — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

By now, Si-woo was laying on the couch, scrolling through his phone when he sensed Jin-ah walking toward him.

She stood right beside him with a mischievous grin before turning around, doing a quick hop, and directly jumping onto his stomach.

Though, she did not get the reaction from him she was used to, as he just stared up at her blankly for that.

“Ah, I’ll miss seeing you struggling for breath when I would do this to you before your awakening,” the girl lamented with a shake of her head.

Si-woo’s lips twitched in annoyance at her words.

“I guess you are pretty nervous about the awakening, huh?” she muttered after a moment, raising an eyebrow at him.

“Do I look nervous?” he scoffed before turning his attention back to his phone.

“I know you wouldn’t have made all those shitty S-rank jokes if you weren’t nervous,” she commented, and Si-woo finally put his phone down.

“You wish you were half as funny as me,” he countered, though she just crossed her arms and leaned back against the backrest of the couch with an unbothered look.

A long moment of silence passed between the two, finally broken by Si-woo’s defeated sigh.

“I guess it’s a big responsibility being an S-rank, huh?” Jin-ah broke the silence at last.

She knew him well enough to tell he would start dungeon diving as soon as he was able to.

Not for the money, as she knew he gave more money to charity every year than he would ever make from clearing dungeons.

But because now that he had power, he would do his best to save as many people as he could with it.

“Just, don’t place the world on your shoulders all at once.

Take it slow, okay?” she urged gently and got up from his stomach when he nodded.

They exchanged a genuine smile as she left to go back to her own apartment.

“I should go test what I can do,” Si-woo muttered to himself the second the door closed.

He knew the little bit of healing magic he had performed earlier in the day was only the tip of the iceberg and he could do much more.

He donned a white hoodie and slipped out of the house in the quiet of the night, moving swiftly in the direction of the newest gate he knew of.

It was not finding that information as the person who had found it had posted a pic on social media, which was then catalogued into some hunter websites.

With a slight jump, he found himself on top of a roof of a neighboring house.

He crouched low, before he started jumping and running from roof to roof, until he finally found himself in a forest area with a blue, glowing gate in front of him.

He had chosen a recently discovered gate because that would mean it was not fenced off yet and just had some guards placed around it.

“A low rank one,” he muttered when he sensed the weak mana radiating from the gate.

And there was only one guard stationed in front of the gate, who was asleep at the moment.

Si-woo chuckled through his nose and entered the gate after he gave the sleeping guard a brief glance.

Not even a single moment had passed since he had entered the gate when an arrow hit his emerging figure.

Though, the projectile bounced off harmlessly, not even leaving a single mark on his clothes.

His eyes glowed in a soft light as he channeled some of his mana into them and found a shimmering layer completely covering his body.

“So I have the dragon Touki even passively,” he said to himself.

Touki was the layer of magic covering his body that gave him enhanced strength and acted as a passive armor.

He then raised his hand and imagined a solid rock forming in front of him, which it did instantly.

He then made it streamlined and pointy before channeling more mana into it as the stone started rotating rapidly and heated up enough to turn red.

With a sudden twist of his wrist, a loud bang of breaking wind reverberated around him as the rock was launched towards the goblin who had been shooting arrows at him all this time.

The goblin almost disintegrated when the rock connected with it and passed straight through its body, forming a deep crater in the stone wall behind the creature.

Si-woo fought some more goblins, testing out different magical spells or even impaling his open palm straight through some of them.

A grin formed on his face when he found a robed goblin loudly chanting a spell.

The goblin raised its green hand as a ball of fire materialized in front of it.

“Disturb magic,” Si-woo casted at that exact moment, and the spell fizzled out into harmless sparks.

The goblin looked down at its hand with wide eyes.

Its head turned back and forth between its own hand and the human who was smiling smugly in front of him.

“Cast your spell again.

I promise I won’t use disturb magic again,” Si-woo said to the creature as if it could actually understand him.

A sharp growl escaped the green-skinned creature’s lips as it started chanting again with much more fervor.

Another fireball formed in front of it, and just as Si-woo had promised, he did not use disturb magic on it this time.

Though, a small, circular gate formed in front of him, marked with intricate dragon engravings, and the fireball entered the circle and disappeared harmlessly.

“Hm.

That’s enough for now,” he muttered at last.

He crouched down, keeping his open palm in front of him as he launched himself at the goblin, and with one smooth motion, he cut it in two with his bare hand.

With the death of the boss goblin, he sensed the gate’s magic keeping it open had been severed, so he ran back to the entrance before exiting the dungeon.

He did not bother to look at the guard beside him and just ran deeper into the forest at a speed that made him look as if he were a blur.

He jumped through roofs and houses before finally landing on his room’s balcony.

Entering his room as quietly as he could, he laid down on his bed, thinking about his new abilities.

His tests had made things clear for him.

He had the full abilities of Orsted from Mushoku Tensei, with a normal mana regeneration rate to boot.

His thoughts then diverted to the five eggs he had seen in his dream, wondering what exactly they would hatch into before he finally fell asleep.
