Chapter 20: Freed Sellzen? by Harem-Fan
When Ken Gold woke up, he was confused...
When he looked around, he found himself in an apartment looking dorm room, and he saw a man he knows playing cards by himself.
The room they were in was simple and plain, like a university dorm built to house 4 students.
It had two bunk-beds on each-side of the windowless room, a small 4-person wood square table with pipe chairs, and two doors at the far end, one with a bathroom symbol, and the other with an electric lock.
The white haired man playing cards smiled and said.
"Hello brother Gold, I'm brother Kris Tempest from the Boston Church in America, nice to meet you. Haha, Solitaire is getting stale, so a card partner is good."
Ken sat up and asked.
"Wait, why am I alive, I was killed by Freed Sellzen, right?"
Ken nodded and confirmed.
"Yeah, that's what I thought too, but we're now "Guests" of Grigori. It seems Freed Sellzen only wanted our Holy Swords and not our lives. I was also told in the next couple of months, we would be released back to the Vatican."
Ken sat down and looked at their outfits.
"Why are we wearing black and white striped prisoner uniforms that you only saw in old movies?"
"Sigh, It was Freed's idea for us, something about priests should only wear black and white, he is insane."
Ken asked Kris about the treatment.
"Based on our clothing, are you treated badly?"
Kris Tempest's smile twitched, and he said in an odd way.
"Actually, about that... We're in a 5-star hotel and I have been eating chef prepared foods three times a day, and other than the clothing and being stuck here with only cards and a CD player for music, it's been really comfortable, like we aren't prisoners."

"Why did the plan to remove Asia's Twilight Healing fail? I set it up so they could gain the Sacred Gear, and I could swoop in and save the day, and make her fall?"
The blonde and beautiful Queen said.
"It seemed that the Fallen Angel Raynare you planned on dealing with was removed, and the Exorcist Freed Sellzen has kept Asia very close to him... And was even seen kissing her..."

"Then I will send you Linda, and if you can't convince Asia to come with you, then kill Freed Sellzen before returning. Now go."

As Linda was leaving, Diodora said another thing.
"Be careful, because the Gremory are our opponents of the Old Satan Faction, so try to keep your identity and presence low."

Rias Gremory and her good friend and rival, Sona Sitri, were having tea in the student council room...

Tap~! Rias was about to move her Bishop and realized if she did, Sona's Knight would come and put her into Checkmate, so she grit her teeth and moved a Knight of her own.
"Seems like only having one Bishop and one Knight has put me into a disadvantage, Sona. I was hesitant to let Issei meet your Peerage too soon, but I agree with you, Check!"
Tap~! Unexpectedly Sona's seemingly unseen Knight came over and captured her last Bishop, and Sona jokes.
"I take it you're afraid of your new Pawn seeing my girls and wanting to expand his Harem King dreams, fufu. If Issei can capture their hearts, I won't stop him."
Rias pouted at her friend and the Chess board.
"Sigh, He really is lustful and perverted, but he is kind and honest. Plus he really saved me from marrying that jerk Riser."
Sona sipped her tea and asked an unrelated question.
"After your church battle, how has the peace of your territory been lately, and problems?"
Tap~! Rias fell into Sona's well planned Chess trap, and smiled.
"It's been really peaceful, without any supernatural affairs, like the Fallen Angels and Church vanished with no issues."
Tap~! Sona moved her second Bishop over, and said.
"That's good to hear, I was afraid the Grigori would still be actively causing problems, but they seem quiet."
Rias bit the tip of her thumb looking at the board and then decided to sacrifice her Rook to take Sona's Queen out.
"Also, I heard you moved in with Issei Hyoudou, how is it?"
Rias just smiled and didn't even blush.
"A simple modern Japanese life with a Japanese boy is everything I always dreamed of. I make meals with his mother and I get to have many fun bump-ins with Issei, fufu. He is so cute, and he never crosses the line with me. Oh, I got your Queen."
Tap Tap~! Just as Rias took the Queen, Sona without hesitation moved her second Knight, and placed it near the trapped King and said with a grin.
"Checkmate! Losing my Queen to let my Knight win the game is worth it. Good game, Rias."
Rias's blue eyes were surprised, and her joy for capturing the Queen was dashed.
"Rats, it seems I fell for it, sigh. Well, I have to go, we are going to have our Peerage meeting at Issei's house, because my clubhouse is getting cleaned."
As Rias left, Sona picked up her captured Queen piece and felt it was worth it...
Achoo~! Tsubaki, who was tailing a scoundrel, sneezed out of nowhere...
She had noticed from her Familiar that Freed Sellzen was out alone today in the Town Center, a rare occurrence.
Normally Freed is with Asia Argento, or keeping to the outskirts of Kuoh Town, and after the battle the other day, she was curious why Freed would come to such a high profile place.
But due to sneezing, she missed where Freed vanished to, but the only possible place to go was a small alley between two department stores, so she ran there...
But when Tsubaki rounded the corner, she was shocked, because her King Sona was standing there with her arms crossed under her modest chest!
Just as Tsubaki was going to ask, Sona pushed up her glasses and said first.
"Tsubaki, are you chasing that Freed Sellzen again?"
"Sona, I..."
Sona put up her hand to stop her, and she said.
"Tsubaki, I'm very disappointed you made such a low level mistake in following a skilled Exorcist, what were you going to do if he had been here?"
"I just wanted to report what he was doing here, plus his actions of late have been strange... I didn't want to lose his trail."
Sona shook her head in disappointment and said.

Tsubaki's eyes trembled, thinking she was going to get the Demonic Paddle, but she just said in resignation.
"Yes President, I'm ready."
Sona nodded and told her.
"Put your hands on the wall, and stick your butt out, I will give you three spanks."
In shame, Tsubaki put her hands on the alley wall, and leaned over for the inevitable pain.
"Good, now close your eyes and it will be over fast."
Tsubaki closed her eyes, and braced herself for the Demonic Paddle to hit, but...
Smack~ Click~! The paddle didn't hit, but a firm hand slapped her butt?!
Smack~ Click~! Just as Tsubaki was confused why Sona used a bare hand and not the painful paddle, she heard the smartphone clicks of pictures being taken?
Smack~! When the third and final smack came, Tsubaki had already opened her eyes and looked back, and her dual-colored eyes dilated in shock and shame!
Today while Asia and Raynare were home cooking for tonight's spaghetti dinner, I was sent to buy a nice bottle of red wine in the Town Center wine shop...

As she was shocked, I put my phone away and said with a face that it needed a beating.
"Devil-chan, don't be mad, I was just teasing, okay... Hey, you did it on your own, and your butt was really bouncy, hehe. In the future, be more alert of deception, you knew I was around, right?"
Tsubaki just stood there with her emotionless look, realizing I had fooled her, and I actually expected her to explode or attack me, but...
She started to have tears flow from her eyes?!
She didn't say anything, and for some reason, I felt really bad?
I took my phone back out and handed it to her.
"Hey Devil-chan, if you stop crying, you can delete the pictures, sorry..."
Tsubaki slowly took my phone, and looked through it.
When she saw her pictures, she almost wanted to laugh, but she held it in.
She did delete them, because it was her dignity on film, and her shame.
Tsubaki didn't destroy my phone but handed it back to me.
"I've learned my lesson to be more alert. If you really wanted to hurt me, I would be dead... I won't follow you anymore..."
As Tsubaki walked to the alley exit, she said without turning around.
"If you need anything from me in the future, I will do you a favor, just call me... Goodbye Freed Sellzen."
Then the stoic Tsubaki left just like that.
"Huh? How would I call you, I don't know your number or have your flyer?"
But as I was going to see if she deleted the pictures, I was surprised.
"What, she actually gave me her number? Um? But she logged it as, "Devil-chan?!"
Tsubaki doesn't remember how she got back to school, as she was so confused in her heart.
Although she got tricked, that guy seemed to really care about her feelings.
