Yu Lingqian turned his head and saw Mu Anran propping against the bathroom doorframe, only revealing a blushing face.
He indifferently withdrew his gaze, “Your clothes are on the second floor.”
Mu Anran helplessly retracted her head, “What kind of villa is this, not even a single large towel prepared.”
Inside the entire bathroom, there were only two hand-tailored white shirts in the wardrobe.
“Never mind!” Mu Anran decided, took out one, and slipped it on herself.
After she was dressed, she sneakily opened the bathroom door a bit and silently tiptoed to the second floor.
Yu Lingqian’s usually stern lips quickly curved up a hint, his peripheral vision catching her retreating figure.
Mu Anran had a great figure, her loose white shirt’s hem teased glimpses of her pale, straight legs, igniting the imagination.
The slightly transparent, quality fabric, outlined the curves beneath the shirt, sending pulses racing.
Yu Lingqian’s eyes darkened, and he set down the document in his hands.
In the master bedroom wardrobe, Mu Anran found various clothes, all in her size, mostly in warm colors.
The craftsmanship was exquisite, clearly very expensive.
She picked a milky white loose knitted dress, casually tied a belt around the waist, and with her hair draped over her shoulders, she looked very gentle.
When she came downstairs, a light flashed in Yu Lingqian’s eyes.
Before she could speak, Yu Lingqian spoke first, “Can you cook?”
Mu Anran nodded, “Yes.”
Upon receiving her response, Yu Lingqian stood up and walked towards the doorway.
Mu Anran didn’t understand his intention, not knowing whether she should follow or stay.
Not until he pushed the door open, “What are you still standing there for?”
Mu Anran’s face flushed, she hurried to the door, and upon opening the shoe cabinet, found it was full of various types of women’s shoes, all in her size.
Selecting a pair of nude pink leather shoes, she followed him.
Yu Lingqian drove a sleek black Maybach, simple and elegant, a style that was typical of him.
Even though she had changed her status, Mu Anran still felt very restrained sitting in the passenger seat.
Normally a clever little girl, she didn’t know why, but every time she encountered Yu Lingqian, the stern-faced god of death, it was as if her brain shut down.
Sneaking a glance at the man beside her, Mu Anran silently lamented in her heart:
Having grown up, she finally understood what it meant to “accompany a king is like accompanying a tiger,” and this particular tiger was also her Sugar Daddy.
Mu Anran was terrified that something she did might displease Yu Lingqian and lead him to reject her outright.
As she was caught up in her wild thoughts, Yu Lingqian spoke indifferently, “What dishes can you cook?”
Mu Anran was startled, quickly asking in return, “What dishes do you like to eat?”
After an eerie silence, she suddenly realized something was amiss, hurriedly correcting herself, “I’m best at making soup, my specialty dishes are stir-fried pork, steamed fish, Kung Pao chicken, and boiled beef… That’s about it.”
She sneaked another look at Yu Lingqian; seeing that he didn’t speak, she stopped talking.
Not until he abruptly hit the brakes, bringing the car to a stop at the largest supermarket parking lot near the villa area.
Mu Anran was stunned: Was this guy actually taking her to a supermarket?
Impossible?
His crisp black suit and his aloof demeanor really didn’t suit this kind of heavily mundane place!
