Three of the chimpanzees were pierced by the golden scales, coughing out blood before falling from the trees.
Lizarius, still invisible, lunged toward the remaining chimpanzees.
They turned their heads in every direction, desperately trying to find where the attacks were coming from.
Lizarius continued approaching them while remaining invisible.
The mutated chimpanzee also turned its head around, just like the others, searching for the attacker.
Suddenly—
Its eyes locked with Lizarius’s.
Lizarius was still invisible and rapidly approaching.
The moment their eyes met, the mutated chimpanzee’s body suddenly began falling.

Lizarius remained invisible.

Slowly, Lizarius began standing.
He spread his wings and held them forward, covering his face.
Still invisible, his glowing yellow eyes looked through the gap between his wings.
He watched the chimpanzees jumping down from the fallen tree and slowly walking toward him.

The chimpanzees continued approaching.
They came closer to where Lizarius was standing.
Lizarius looked downward through the gap between his wings.
He could see the legs of the three chimpanzees.
The golden-brown fur of the mutated chimpanzee was on his right side.

Lizarius swung his tail.
**PIERCE!**
His golden scales pierced directly through the mutated chimpanzee’s chest.
Its eyes widened.
It coughed out blood.
Lizarius began releasing lightning from his horns and body.
At the same time, he slowly became visible.
The mutated chimpanzee continued coughing out blood, with Lizarius’s tail still piercing through its chest.

Lightning struck the chimpanzee.
Its body was roasted by the powerful electricity.
Steam rose from its body.
Lizarius pulled his tail out of the roasted corpse.
Blood covered his golden scales.
Lizarius flicked his tail, removing the blood from it.
His yellow eyes glowed.
He spread his wings and swung them, lunging toward one of the two remaining chimpanzees.
The chimpanzee was shocked to see its companion killed by a creature that had suddenly appeared out of nowhere.
It was unable to react.
Lizarius opened his jaws wide and bit down on its head.
At the same time, blue flames erupted from his mouth, engulfing the chimpanzee.
**WHOOSH!**
The chimpanzee was completely engulfed in blue flames.
The remaining chimpanzee saw both of its companions killed in an instant.
It quickly turned around and began running.
Lizarius saw it fleeing.
He swung his tail.
**WHOOSH!**
Golden scales shot toward the fleeing chimpanzee.
They pierced through its body.
The chimpanzee suddenly let out a low growl of pain and coughed out a mouthful of blood.
It stumbled forward before collapsing to the ground.
It was dead.
Lizarius was still biting down on the burned corpse of the chimpanzee.
He tore off a piece of flesh and began eating.
After a while, the system announced,
**”Gain 1,600 Evolution Points and 19 Red Eyes Chimpanzee Gene Points.”**
Lizarius licked his mouth.
He stood beside the remains of the chimpanzees.
He spread his wings and swung them.
**WHOOSH!**
Lizarius took flight and flew away.
