The lizard hovered close to the ground above the field of chimpanzee corpses.
Lizarius looked around.

He flew downward.
“How many are there?” he asked the system.
The system replied,

Lizarius was surprised.
*That many?
It’s going to take a while.*
He landed beside one of the corpses, his yellow eyes glowing.
He turned toward it.
*But I will make sure I devour every last one.*
Saliva dripped from his mouth.
Lizarius opened his jaws wide and bit down on the corpse.
He began eating.
After a while, night had fallen.
Lizarius was still eating.
By then, he had gained **35,400 Evolution Points and 413 Red Eyes Chimpanzee Gene Points.**
Lizarius had just finished eating another corpse when the system announced,
**”Gain 500 Evolution Points, 6 Red Eyes Chimpanzee Gene Points.”**
Still licking his mouth, Lizarius slowly walked toward another chimpanzee corpse.
His yellow eyes glowed.
Acidic saliva dripped from his mouth.
Without wasting any time, Lizarius opened his jaws and bit down.
He began eating again.
After a while, the clouds moved slowly across the night sky, while moonlight softly illuminated the trees of the forest.
Lizarius stood among the remains of the chimpanzees.
He had just finished eating the last chimpanzee corpse when the system announced,

Lizarius licked the blood from his mouth.

Lizarius slowly turned invisible.
He spread his wings and swung them, flying upward through the forest filled with massive trees.
Still invisible, he lay down and curled up his body.
He slowly closed his eyes.
But then—
**GRUNT!**
A deep grunt suddenly echoed through the forest.
Lizarius immediately reacted.
His eyes opened.
He stood up and looked down from the tree.
Below, he spotted a group of pigs wandering through the forest.
At the front of the herd was one that stood approximately **2.5 meters tall**.
Lizarius looked at them.
*Pigs?*
*They look like normal wild pigs.*
He asked the system,
“What kind of beasts are they, and what are their ranks?”
The system replied,
**”Iron Boar.
Likes living near swamps and riversides.
A wild pig with sharp iron tusks and iron-like fur.
Moves in herds with strong defense against physical attacks and mainly uses its iron tusks to attack.”**
**”One Rank 8 Mid Stage, two Rank 7 Late Stage, two Rank 6 Late Stage, and three Rank 6 Mid Stage.”**
Lizarius looked at the Iron Boars.
*So they’re just normal wild pigs with iron fur.*
His glowing yellow eyes remained fixed on the leader of the herd.
He spread his wings.
*I’ve eaten a lot of monkeys, but I still have room for a lot more.*
Lizarius swung his wings.
**WHOOSH!**
Multiple wind blades flew toward the boars.
The wind blades struck the herd.
However, they didn’t even leave a scratch on the leader.
Two of the other boars were killed instantly.
The remaining boars only suffered shallow cuts across their bodies.
The leader’s ear twitched.
Suddenly, it charged toward the tree Lizarius was standing on.
**BOOM!**
The massive boar slammed into the tree.
**CRACK!**
The massive tree crashed to the ground.
The other boars stood near the two dead members of their herd, letting out loud squeals.
Lizarius remained invisible in the air.
He looked toward the leader.
*Can it see me?*
Lizarius flew closer to the leader.
The Iron Boar turned its head around, searching the area.
But it didn’t react to Lizarius.
*It can’t see me.*
*It might have attacked the tree because that’s where the wind blades came from.*
Lizarius flew even closer.
The leader continued turning its head, searching for the attacker.
Then—
Its eyes locked with Lizarius’s glowing yellow eyes.
The Iron Boar’s body suddenly froze.
It was paralyzed.
Lizarius released lightning from his horns and body as he slowly became visible.
He landed directly on the head of the boar leader.
**BOOM!**
Lightning struck the paralyzed Iron Boar.
The other boars saw this and immediately scattered, running away in different directions.
Lizarius released even more lightning.
Electricity surged through the boar’s body.
He swung his tail.
**PIERCE!**
His golden scales pierced directly into the boar’s eye.
The Iron Boar let out a loud, piercing squeal of pain.
Saliva poured from its mouth as its body trembled beneath Lizarius.
