The remaining boar, which was at the late stage of Rank 8, was still standing.

Steam rose from its body.

The golden scales had only left a shallow wound across its flesh, but the lightning had still struck it.

Lizarius continued hovering in the air, watching the boar.

Suddenly— the boar began foaming at the mouth.

Its body collapsed to the ground.

Dead.

I thought it would still be alive.

Lizarius turned toward the other two crocodiles.

They were swimming toward the boar’s corpse, which was floating downstream.

The crocodile corpse drifted behind them.

Seeing this, Lizarius swung his wings.

Multiple wind blades shot through the air toward the two crocodiles.

The wind blades struck them.

**BOOM!**

An explosion erupted across the surface of the stream, sending water shooting upward.

Lizarius released lightning from his horns and quickly flew downward.

As the water settled— the wind blades had only left several cut marks across the crocodiles’ scales.

Both crocodiles looked up at Lizarius hovering above them.

They let out loud roars.

Lightning suddenly struck both of them.

Lizarius released another surge of lightning from his horns, sending another powerful strike toward them.

The lightning struck their bodies.

Both crocodiles roared in pain.

Lizarius lunged toward them.

He landed on the body of one of the crocodiles.

Lizarius swung his tail.

His tail pierced directly into its eye.

The crocodile let out an even louder roar as it violently thrashed its body around. Follow the newest chapters on g.com.

Lizarius pulled his tail free.

He immediately swung his wings and flew away from its body.

Then—

Lizarius swung his tail again.

Several golden scales shot toward the other crocodile’s eye.

The crocodile closed its eye just in time, managing to block the golden scales with its eyelid.

However— the golden scales still managed to cut into its eyelid, leaving a wound.

Meanwhile, the crocodile whose eye Lizarius had pierced had already died from the poison coating the golden scales.

Its corpse floated along with the stream.

The remaining crocodile opened its eye.

It looked toward Lizarius hovering above the stream.

It let out an angry roar.

Lizarius released lightning from his horns and body.

He swung his tail.

Lightning-charged golden scales shot toward the crocodile’s open mouth.

The golden scales pierced into its mouth.

Lightning surged through them.

The crocodile let out a deafening roar of pain.

Steam billowed from its body.

It suddenly lunged toward Lizarius with its jaws wide open.

Blue flames gathered inside its mouth.

The flames condensed into a brilliant blue fireball.

Lizarius launched the fireball directly into the crocodile’s open maw.

The fireball struck deep inside its mouth.

**BOOM!**

A violent explosion erupted.

Smoke poured from the crocodile’s mouth.

Its body staggered before finally collapsing.

After enduring Lizarius’s relentless attacks— the crocodile was dead.

Seeing that it was dead, Lizarius thought,

It was tough.

He turned toward the corpses of the boar and the other crocodile, which were drifting farther away with the stream.

Lizarius beat his wings powerfully and flew toward the carcasses.

He landed on the boar’s corpse.

Then he beat his wings again, pulling the corpse out of the stream.

A while later—

Lizarius stood beside the crocodile’s corpse, with the boar’s body lying beside it.

He had retrieved all of the corpses from the stream.

Lizarius walked closer to one of the crocodile corpses.

He opened his jaws wide and bit down.

His acidic saliva immediately began melting through its scales.

Lizarius tore off a piece of flesh and began eating without delay.

After an hour and fifteen minutes— only bones remained of the crocodiles and the boar.

Lizarius had just finished devouring the boar.

The system announced.

**”Gain 5,400 Evolution Points and 24 Blue Scale Crocodile Gene Points.”**

**”Gain 38 Iron Boar Gene Points.”**

Lizarius licked the blood from his mouth.

His body slowly became invisible.

He spread his wings and swung them powerfully.

Then— he flew upward, completely vanishing from sight.

Lizarius continued flying.

Along the way, he encountered more Blue Scale Crocodiles and Iron Boars beside the stream, gaining more Evolution Points and Gene Points.

He also came across several Earth Tortoises.

Night eventually fell.

Lizarius, still invisible, flew downward and landed on a tree in the forest beside the stream.

He lay down on the branch and curled up his body.

His eyes slowly began to close.

Suddenly—

Lizarius saw a white figure perched on a tree four trees away.

His eyes snapped open.

He stared intently at the figure.

It was a white owl.

Its golden eyes were staring directly at Lizarius.

Is it looking at me?

But I’m invisible…

Maybe it’s just looking.

Lizarius spread his wings.

He swung them silently.

Then— he flew from the tree toward another nearby tree without making a sound.
