Lizarius pulled his tail out of the boar’s eye.
Blood gushed from the wound as Lizarius flew away from its head.
The lightning slowly disappeared from the boar’s body as steam rose from its scorched flesh.
Saliva pooled from the corners of its mouth as its body finally dropped to the ground— dead.
Lizarius hovered above it.
I guess it worked after all.
Iron really does conduct lightning.
He knew that because of the memories he had inherited from the human at the beginning.
Lizarius landed beside the corpse, his yellow eyes glowing as he stared down at it.
Acidic saliva dripped from his mouth.
Let me see how it tastes.
He opened his jaws and bit down on the boar’s corpse, tearing into its flesh as he began to eat.
Half an hour later—
The system announced.
**”Gain 700 Evolution Points and the Iron Boar Gene.”**
Lizarius licked his mouth after finishing the corpse.
His gaze shifted toward the other two corpses.
He spread his wings and swung them, flying closer to the bodies before immediately beginning to devour them without wasting any time.
After a while—
Lizarius had finished eating both boar corpses.
The system announced.
**”Gain 1,000 Evolution Points and 12 Iron Boar Gene Points.”**
Lizarius licked his mouth.
He swung his wings and flew toward a nearby tree.
As he landed on one of its branches, his body slowly became invisible.
Lizarius lay down on the tree and curled his body into a resting position.
Then he asked the system,
“How many points do I have?”
The system replied.
**”54,060 Evolution Points, 642 Red Eyes Chimpanzee Gene Points, 20 Iron Boar Gene Points.”**
Lizarius said,
“Fuse Gene.”
Immediately—
Lizarius felt a sharp pain in his eyes.
His eyelids slowly closed as his body relaxed.
Soon— he fell asleep.
The next day—
Invisible, he flew above the stream.
As he traveled through the air, he suddenly spotted a group of Iron Boars beside the stream.
They were being attacked by Blue Scale Crocodiles.
Lizarius remained invisible as he flew closer, hovering above the battlefield.
Below— three Blue Scale Crocodiles were attacking five Iron Boars.
Lizarius asked the system for their ranks.
The system replied,
**”Blue Scale Crocodile: Two Rank 8 Mid Stage and One Rank 8 Low Stage.”**
**”Iron Boar: One Rank 8 Late Stage, Two Rank 8 Low Stage, and Two Rank 7 Mid Stage.”**
Lizarius remained hovering above them.
Five Rank 8…
I’m only at the mid-stage of Rank 7.
Lizarius flew toward a nearby tree and landed on one of its branches, still watching the battle with his glowing yellow eyes.
I should just wait for them to kill each other.
Below— one of the Iron Boars charged forward and smashed its iron tusks into one of the crocodiles, sending it crashing into the stream.
Another crocodile opened its jaws wide and lunged toward an Iron Boar.
Before it could bite down— another boar charged forward and smashed its iron tusks against the crocodile’s jaws.
Lizarius continued watching from the tree, still invisible.
If I wait for too long, the pigs might get eaten…
Or maybe they’ll run away.
Lizarius then said to the system,
“Use 10,000 points to evolve each of these Genes: the Lightning Rat Gene, Red Eyes Chimpanzee Gene, Moonlight Bat Gene, Iron Boar Gene, and Black Viper Gene.”
The moment his command was given— a powerful shock surged through Lizarius’s body.
His entire body trembled.
He curled up as the intense sensation spread through him.
Below— the battle continued.
Both the Iron Boars and Blue Scale Crocodiles were covered in scratches and injuries.
Yet they continued fighting.
One of the Iron Boars eventually collapsed onto the ground— dead.
Another crocodile suddenly lunged forward with its jaws wide open.
It bit down on one of the Iron Boars.
The boar let out a loud, high-pitched squeal of pain as the crocodile dragged it into the water. This chapter was copied from g.com without permission.
Seeing this— the remaining creatures turned away from the crocodile and began running.
But before they could escape— multiple wind slashes tore through the air.
The sharp blades of wind struck the fleeing creatures.
At that moment— the system’s voice sounded.
**”Evolution complete.”**
Lizarius slowly became visible.
He hovered in the air as the system continued.
**”Mutated White Scale Lizard, Rank 8 Mid Stage.”**
Lizarius looked down at the Iron Boars with his glowing yellow eyes.
Then— he lunged downward.
The crocodile in the stream, still holding the dead boar in its jaws, suddenly roared in pain as Lizarius released a loud roar.
**ROOOAAAR!**
A powerful sound wave erupted from Lizarius.
The attack struck the crocodile directly.
Cracks began spreading across its scales.
Lizarius flew straight into the crocodile’s open mouth.
You dare try devouring my prey?
Die!
Lizarius released another roar from inside the crocodile’s mouth.
The sound wave violently distorted its insides.
The crocodile coughed out blood.
Its eyes slowly turned white.
Then— its body went limp.
It was dead.
Lizarius hovered above the stream, his yellow eyes glowing as he looked toward the remaining Iron Boars.
Lightning began surging from his horns and across his body.
Then Lizarius turned toward the boars.
He swung his tail.
Multiple golden scales shot through the air, each one charged with lightning, flying straight toward the remaining Iron Boars.
