In the small courtyard in front of the new house, Su Yue looked around in disbelief.

It wasn’t until Di Kun nudged her, asking if she wanted to go back first to pack their things, that she snapped back to reality.

The three of them set off quickly.

There wasn’t much to pack in the old rental, and with Su Yue’s spatial storage, they soon had everything ready.

Di Kun accompanied Su Yue to see Mrs. Zhu one last time to notify her that they’d vacated, then left.

Su Yue rode on the back of Di Kun’s hover motorcycle, while Su Yi drove a separate one to the new house.

“Mrs. Zhu didn’t give us a hard time this time,” Su Yue remarked.

Di Kun’s lips curved into a small smile as he drove.

He could casually mention that the Security Bureau had already fined the landlord and issued a warning, thanks to the previous complaint.

He really wasn’t stingy—but who could forgive a landlord who first reported them to the authorities?

“Mm,” Di Kun replied without elaborating.

Su Yue glanced at him but didn’t say more.

Upon arriving, Su Yi was overjoyed.

He ran straight to his room and rolled around on the bed, complaining that he hadn’t slept well last night sharing a bed with Di Kun.

Di Kun didn’t disturb him, instead taking Su Yue down to the basement sunroom.

Su Yue retrieved the equipment, sugarcane, and oranges from her spatial storage and handed them to Di Kun to juice, then went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast.

The sunroom was spacious and well-lit, making the working conditions far better than in the old rental.

Following a message from Tao Fu, Di Kun quickly tidied up the area and got to work.

Before long, Su Yi joined them, and they all started working together.

Meanwhile, in the kitchen on the first floor, Su Yue had already familiarized herself with the household robot.

She arranged for it to assist her with cooking.

In this timeline, while technology was highly advanced, most people still couldn’t cook Chinese food well, so robots weren’t much help with it either.

At most, they could handle very simple Chinese dishes, like cooking rice in a rice cooker or frying eggs.

By contrast, they excelled at Western cuisine.

Su Yue was satisfied.

Apart from seasoning and stir-frying, the robot could handle nearly everything, making her workload much lighter.

Breakfast was ready quickly.

Su Yue called the two men down from the basement for the meal.

In the sunroom, Di Kun and Su Yi had already juiced a significant amount.

Di Kun, especially, had processed over five boxes of orange juice and was still filling cups from the rest.

Su Yi’s pace was nearly as fast, with almost four boxes of sugarcane juice already filled and more left in the large container.

Seeing their progress, Su Yue offered to help.

“Let’s package everything together. Once it’s all done, we can go upstairs to eat and then register with the property management.”

“Mm,” both Di Kun and Su Yi agreed.

Su Yue joined in, taking over the cup-sealing task.

Di Kun and Su Yi filled the containers, and she handled sealing.

Efficiency skyrocketed.

Before long, the sunroom work was temporarily complete.

Su Yue directed the two men to tidy the area, while she stored the processed juice and the leftover peels and pulp in her spatial storage.

With the workspace clean, the three went upstairs to eat.

Breakfast was simple: millet porridge, fried eggs, and a few stir-fried dishes.

Not a truly authentic Chinese breakfast, but plenty enough.

The two men devoured everything like big eaters.

After eating, Su Yue took them to the property management office to complete the move-in registration.

Once the formalities were done, Su Yue suggested that the two men accompany her out of the city to pick the oranges left from yesterday.

Di Kun immediately mentioned his pending bulk orders.

“The amusement park owner ordered another sixty cups of orange juice and forty cups of sugarcane juice.”

“And the administrative building wants a total of 240 cups delivered.”

“The Security Bureau requested sixty cups, with ten more to be added tonight.”

“We won’t be back until at least noon if we go out to pick oranges,” Di Kun explained.

“And most of these orders need to be delivered by 3 PM. Plus, we have to sell juice tonight.”

“If we all leave, there won’t be anyone at home to juice, and we might not have enough to sell tonight.” He looked at Su Yi.

“Why not let my brother stay at home and make juice for half a day?”

“And the household robot can assist him as well.”

“In half a day, he can easily prepare plenty of juice.”

Su Yue nearly froze hearing this.

She hadn’t expected Di Kun to have negotiated such large orders.

But the latter part of his suggestion annoyed her a little—it was clear he didn’t want Su Yi to come along.

“Big brother, what do you think of my suggestion?”

“Don’t worry. Once you leave the city, I’ll take good care of Yue Yue. With Zhan Feng here, we can handle any wild beasts,” Su Yi replied.

He had been slightly reluctant at first, but hearing Di Kun had Zhan Feng, his reluctance vanished.

“You go with Yue Yue,” he said.

Juicing was easier than picking oranges, and the new home environment made staying back comfortable.

Seeing his unforced expression, Su Yue nodded.

Though a bit displeased at Di Kun’s intention, it was the best arrangement.

Once tasks were divided, they set off.

Su Yue rode on Di Kun’s hover motorcycle toward the west city.

After leaving the west gate, they headed straight to the location of the orange trees Su Yue had previously marked.

Upon arrival, Di Kun didn’t use the hoverboard Su Yue had prepared; he released Zhan Feng instead.

Su Yue watched in awe as Di Kun controlled Zhan Feng to extend its height, revealing a giant concave compartment on its body, along with eight massive scissor-like mechanical arms.

What happened next was astonishing: the transformed Zhan Feng began picking oranges at a rapid pace.

Its eight scissor arms worked continuously, placing the oranges into the large concave compartment.

This wasn’t a humanoid combat mech—it was clearly a giant agricultural machine.

More precisely, it was designed for harvesting giant crops.

To Su Yue’s knowledge, no such agricultural mech existed in the star system.

After all, wild plants on barren planets were generally inedible to interstellar humans.

Amid her shock, Zhan Feng even conversed with Su Yue while picking, quickly filling the compartment.

When Di Kun lowered it in front of her, she quickly suppressed her astonishment and, using her mind, selected all the oranges from the compartment and stored them in her spatial space.
