Xingchen rubbed his chin. This little streamer was really pretty. After this PK ended, he’d go hang out in her livestream and give her some “medical fees” or something.
Maybe they could even develop something further.
These small streamers couldn’t resist temptation—just give them a sports car or something, and they’d be over the moon.
When the time came, wouldn’t it just be… hehe!
Lily had no idea what her big brother was thinking. She forced a smile and said to Ye Sheng, “Let’s hear it.”
In her heart, she was cursing Xingchen: Old fox (old pervert)! Can’t take his eyes off a woman!
“You probably already know what kind of streamer I am, right? Let’s have a food challenge. Oh, by the way, can you handle spicy food, sis?” Ye Sheng asked, as if she’d just thought of it.
A food challenge?
What kind of PK was this?
It was the first time she’d heard of this kind of competition. Lily was curious but still replied, “I can handle a little.”
“That’s good. Let me explain the rules first. We’ll both eat the food at the same time. You can only drink water after one Sexy Years, otherwise no water is allowed. If you drink water without earning a Sexy Years, you lose. The one who finishes first wins, or the one with the least left in their bowl wins.”
Lily frowned slightly. Having to drink water meant the food must be extremely spicy. She felt a hint of hesitation.
She wasn’t great with spicy food. During company team-building events, she could only take a couple of bites of the really spicy dishes. This competition was clearly disadvantageous for her.
But there was another issue: the streamer on the other side couldn’t possibly send her the food. She’d have to prepare it herself.
Maybe she could pull something off here.
Make the food look extremely spicy but not actually taste that spicy.
Then, put on a performance in the livestream to get her big brother to send more Sexy Years. That way, she’d earn money and win the competition.
It was a win-win situation.
Ye Sheng saw through her thoughts, a faint smile playing on her lips. “Now for the punishment. The loser has to send the winner one Sexy Years. Is that acceptable to you, sis?”
No one could resist the temptation of a Sexy Years—it was the top-tier gift among all gifts.
Even this Lily was no exception.
Lily was indeed tempted.
No matter how she looked at it, she was in a winning position. She immediately agreed to Ye Sheng’s proposal.
“Then, sis, send me your address via private message. The delivery will arrive soon.”
Ye Sheng had just checked the task notes: during a food challenge, deliveries could be sent to any region in the country.
This would perfectly prevent the opponent from cheating.
Lily’s expression stiffened. If the other side was ordering the delivery, she wouldn’t be able to pull any tricks!
But if she refused, the viewers in her livestream would notice something was off.
Reluctantly, she opened her private messages and sent her address.
After receiving the address, Ye Sheng smiled. “The delivery will arrive soon. Everyone, please wait a moment.”
Ye Sheng disappeared from the livestream. She walked into the kitchen and returned holding a takeout paper bowl.
Ye Xiaotian craned her neck: ??
What did her sister bring out from the kitchen?
When did they have something like this in their kitchen? She had no idea!
Ye Xiaotian stared at the bright red, intestine-like things in the bowl and swallowed hard.
So red!
It must be super spicy!
This was what her sister was going to use for the competition with the other side. How terrifying!
The chili on these intestines was on par with the chicken wings from this morning, a scene she still vividly remembered.
Her sister had eaten the chicken wings this morning, her lips slightly swollen from the spiciness. She’d drunk so much water that her stomach was round and full of it.
You could almost hear the water sloshing when she walked.
Ye Sheng held the extra-spicy chicken intestines right up to the camera.
“Everyone, do you see this? This is the dish we’ll be competing with later—spicy chicken intestines.”
“Chicken, you’re too beautiful. If you’re going to eat, eat spicy chicken intestines. Don’t be petty and narrow-minded.”
“Long-time fans who have watched my livestreams know that I’m a genuine food streamer—no tricks here. This is the same spiciness level as the spicy chicken wings from this morning. See the chili peppers on top?”
“Just ask yourself—is it spicy or not? Is it terrifying or not?”
The old fans in Ye Sheng’s livestream had seen it all before. They weren’t too shocked; instead, they felt a bit sorry for the opposing streamer.
How could you agree to the streamer’s challenge just for a Sexy Years gift?
You brought this suffering upon yourself! This morning, they witnessed the streamer’s face instantly turn red from the spiciness.
「Lv4. Tu Bieshu (The Most Handsome Guy on the Internet): This is going to be a good show (smirking yellow bean emoji).」
「Lv2. Yang Xiaxing: Sympathizing with Lily for 1 second, using the remaining 999 seconds to mock her. Waiting for the streamer to crush the opponent (yellow bean emoji wearing sunglasses and smirking).」
「Lv2. Mo Chu: What a line—’Chicken, you’re too beautiful. If you’re going to eat, eat spicy chicken intestines. Don’t be petty and narrow-minded.’ The streamer sure knows how to talk (dog head emoji).」
「Lv5. After the Storm: Holy crap! It’s that red?! It really is a bit terrifying. Are you sure this isn’t a lethal dose?」
「Lv10. Boss Cao: As an old fan, I’m telling you, it is terrifying. But the streamer isn’t an ordinary person—she’s someone who’s been through the spice before, hahaha!」
Watching this scene, Xi Yang felt pleased.
This little girl was standing up for him.
Although Lily hadn’t managed to trick him, she had indeed affected his mood.
He never expected that someone he’d just met, and a streamer at that, would stand up for him.
The feeling of being defended wasn’t bad at all.
Lily’s livestream.
Lily and her fans were stunned.
So spicy!
Are you sure this is okay?
“Is it really okay to eat something this spicy? What if it hurts Lily’s stomach?”
“Could it just look terrifying but actually be only medium spicy or something?”
“Later, big brother, make sure to give Lily plenty of Sexy Years gifts so she can drink more water and not get hurt by the spice.”
“Right, with Big Brother Xingchen here, how could Lily possibly suffer from the spiciness?”
“Lily, don’t be afraid. We all support you. What does that female streamer on the other side think she is? Big Brother Xingchen, you have to protect Lily!”
Xingchen, urged by the livestream viewers, got a bit carried away. Patting his big belly, he spoke confidently, “Eat without worry. I won’t let you lose. It’s just a Sexy Years gift—a small gift, easy to handle.”
Lily couldn’t believe it. Later, she had to eat something this spicy!
If she ate it, wouldn’t she end up in the hospital?!
To earn this money, she might even risk her life. One Sexy Years gift wouldn’t even cover the hospital fees.
Just as she was starting to hesitate, she saw Xingchen’s message on the screen.
She breathed a sigh of relief in her heart.
The door was knocked, and she returned to the livestream with the takeout, only realizing it afterward.
Lily: !!
She suddenly looked toward the door.
No way!
How did the delivery person bring it up here?!
This is the company’s livestream suite—how did he get up here?!
Takeout is usually left at the front desk, and the assistant brings it up.
This was the first time takeout had been delivered directly to the door, and it scared her quite a bit.
But with so many people watching the livestream, she couldn’t say anything.
Seeing that Lily had received the takeout, Ye Sheng immediately said, “Since the young lady has her takeout, let’s begin. We shouldn’t keep the livestream viewers waiting.”
The PK began.
Both of them took a bite of the spicy chicken intestines.
Ye Sheng’s face instantly flushed red, her complexion changing faster than her mood.
Lily, overwhelmed by the spiciness, lost control of her expression and coughed violently, wanting to drink water but having to hold back.
“Lv56. Xingchen gifted the streamer Sexy Years ×1.”
