In Erigor’s plan, all of his subordinate guild members were deliberately assigned as sacrifices to slow down the wizards from the Legal Guilds.

However!

Natsu’s magical rampage wiped them all out before those subordinates even had a chance to play their parts.Full novel: Fairy Tail’s Demon Dragon — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Plan A was clearly a total failure.

The only option left was to execute Plan B: sneak in and play Lullaby in the center of town.

He planned to use the station’s or the town’s public address system to broadcast the melody of death to every street corner.

After massacring everyone in the town, he would find an opening to escape safely, then figure out another way to eliminate the top brass of the Legal Guilds in the future.

Swirling winds enveloped Erigor’s body.

He glared sharply at Natsu below with a look of hatred unlike anything he had ever felt before.

“How dare you ruin my grand plan!

I’ll tear you to pieces!” With a single swing of his right hand, countless blades of wind shot out ferociously, charging right at Natsu.

Recognizing Erigor’s signature magic, Erza hurriedly shouted a warning, “Natsu!

Dodge!

Even I wouldn’t dare take his magic attack head-on!” As the Master of a Dark Guild, Erigor’s magic power was unquestionable.

His level was nearly on par with an S-Class wizard in Fairy Tail.

Even if there was a gap between them, the difference wouldn’t be too vast.

Erza knew full well just how lethal the man’s signature magic was; even with the protection of her armor, she wouldn’t recklessly try to tank it with her physical body.

On the other hand, Gray was already preparing to dash forward.

Both of his hands emanated a crystal-clear, icy chill, indicating his magic was ready to be fired in support.

However, Natsu merely swung his right hand calmly.

Dragon scales slowly appeared around his eyes, then spread until they covered both of his hands.

“Go after Lullaby!

Don’t let his lackeys play that flute in the middle of town!” Natsu ordered firmly.

“Let me finish this guy off!” Flames exploded from the soles of his feet.

Facing Erigor’s storm of wind blades, Natsu launched himself into the air, charging forward without the slightest intention of dodging.

Realizing he wouldn’t be able to catch up to Natsu’s speed, Gray stopped in his tracks and cursed in frustration.

“Hey!

Don’t be stubborn!

Are you planning to throw your life away in such a stupid way?!” “The problem is, your punches might not even break through his shield!

The guy is nicknamed the Grim Reaper, you know!” Erza stared intently at Natsu’s figure in the air.

Through her magical perception, she could feel the young man’s magic energy skyrocketing as the reddish dragon scales appeared on his temples!

“Although I don’t know why Natsu gets hungry so easily lately, his magic power has clearly increased tremendously.

This level of power…

is almost catching up to mine.” With a swift motion, Erza summoned a pair of swords into her hands.

“We’ll leave that guy to Natsu!

Let’s go after the others; we can’t let them play Lullaby!” “Natsuu!!” Lucy cried out anxiously, watching in horror as Natsu’s body nearly collided with the storm of wind blades.

Seeing Natsu had no intention of backing down, Erigor focused all his concentration, controlling his storm of wind blades to brutally slash the young man from all directions.

He let out a low roar, “How dare you underestimate me!

This storm will shred you into mincemeat!” Hundreds of wind blades battered Natsu’s body relentlessly.

However, instead of injuring him, the lethal attacks couldn’t even slow down Natsu’s momentum in the slightest!

“What?!

How is this possible?!” Erigor instantly trembled in terror.

His invincible signature magic, which had claimed the lives of dozens of wizards…

was now unable to harm even a single hair on this brat’s head!

“What kind of monster are you?!” Erigor shrieked in panic.

The physical endurance of a Dragon Slayer intrinsically far exceeded that of a normal wizard.

Coupled with the scale protection from Dragon Force mode, magic on Erigor’s level was only fit to tickle Natsu’s skin!

And most importantly!!

The flames Erigor had prepared to surround the station earlier had left Natsu incredibly full, allowing him to utilize 60% of Dragon Force’s raw power without fear of running out of energy.

Dragon fire erupted massively from Natsu’s body.

The young man shooting into the sky suddenly brought himself to a halt in mid-air.

The distance between them was now absolutely perfect.

“FIRE DRAGON’S ROAR!” A savage firestorm blasted straight up, piercing the sky and turning the air above the entire town a blazing red.

Erza, who was running in pursuit of Erigor’s remaining subordinates, felt the terrifying atmospheric change and immediately stopped in her tracks to look.

The dragon fire, blazing like a sun, bloomed in the sky, leaving Erza gaping in disbelief.

“Natsu…

since when did you become this strong?” She always knew that Natsu was strong, but she had never imagined that her junior’s power could reach this terrifying stage.

The giant pillar of fire soared high from dozens of meters above the ground, piercing the clouds until its peak was out of sight!

If the magic hadn’t been fired vertically into the sky, Natsu would have undoubtedly leveled the entire town with this single lethal attack!

A faint smile slowly bloomed on Erza’s face.

“Natsu has grown this strong.

It looks like I need to train even harder too!” In the sky, Erigor, now trapped within the sea of flames, desperately maintained the wind magic armor around his body using the entirety of his S-Class magic power.

Sweat flooded his entire face—whether it was cold sweat from absolute terror or sweat from the scorching heat burning his skin.

“Impossible!

How is this possible?!” “My wind magic…

can’t hold back his flames at all!” “What kind of monster is this kid?!” “What kind of terrible luck forced me to face a crazy monster like him?!” His magic power drained incredibly fast, and his wind shield grew thinner by the second.

The searing heat burning his skin spiked sharply.

Even though he was protected by an endlessly swirling vortex of wind, his clothes slowly began to scorch and burn from the outside.

“NOOO!!” Accompanied by a heart-wrenching scream of despair, Erigor’s wind shield collapsed completely.

The firestorm instantly swept through, mercilessly devouring the man’s body.

The extreme temperature gave Erigor no opening to fight back whatsoever, turning the ambitious man into ash amidst the raging fury of the flames.

Sensing that Erigor’s presence had been completely erased, Natsu landed back on the ground.

“I told you, if I say I’m going to kill you, then I will actually kill you!” he said coldly.

“Anyone who dares to target Happy…

I won’t let a single one of them from the Eisenwald guild live!!” ————————————————————————
