3 16: Chapter 16: What, want to chase me?
3 –I can’t do it, but Ethan Herd can?
–That’s right, he can.
Scarlett Glenn’s words kept ringing in Jim Caldwell’s ears, making him irritable and restless, and an unnamed fire jumped in his heart.
He couldn’t see where he was inferior to Ethan Herd.
Suddenly someone asked, “What’s the matter with Young Master Jim today?
He’s in a bad mood and doesn’t even hug the tender little sister.
Are you afraid of your woman at home getting jealous?”
Jim Caldwell’s mind shifted and he smiled, “Nothing, I just ran into an old acquaintance today.
It made me a little emotional.”
That person casually asked, “Who?”
“My future sister-in-law.”
“Your little aunt?”
“Margaret Glenn’s younger sister.”
As soon as he said this, that person suddenly remembered, “Oh, I remember now.
Scarlett Glenn, right?”
Jim Caldwell was curious, “How do you remember?”
“Of course I remember.
That woman, I’ve always had a thing for her.
I heard she’s really seductive and loves to flirt with other people’s boyfriends.
I wondered why she never tried to flirt with me.”
Some people nearby joked, “Why, you want her to seduce you?”
“Of course, she’s not an ordinary woman, she should be called a stunning beauty.
Every time I see her, I get hard.
Really, otherwise, I wouldn’t have remembered her for so many years.
My biggest regret is not having made a move on her before she was sent abroad.”
“Now she’s back, and your chance has arrived.”
“You’re right.”
Jim Caldwell’s knuckles turned white as he gripped the wine glass.
It seemed there were more than just him with designs on that woman.
Someone asked, “Hey, Ethan, isn’t your fiancée Scarlett Glenn’s aunt?
Have you ever seen or heard of that woman?”
Ethan Herd was lazily leaning on the sofa, swinging the wine glass in his hand, and said indifferently, “Scarlett Glenn?
I don’t know her.”
Jim Caldwell looked at him, Ethan Herd’s face had a faint smile, but Scarlett Glenn’s name seemed to have no effect on him.
It seemed like that was indeed the case.

The roles for the TV series “Gili Palace” had been finalized, and all that was left was to sign the contract and wait for the notice to enter the filming set.
But there was still no news about the role in the “Cold Fragrance” movie.
After waiting for a whole week, it was 10 PM on the weekend, Scarlett Glenn was asleep when Sister Mei suddenly came over.
“Scarlett, quick, quick, get up.
Mr.
Gerry, the producer, and several investors want to meet you.”
Scarlett Glenn frowned, “So late?
Where should I meet them?”
“Tonight, the male and female protagonists of the movie will have a get-together with the producers, investors, and the director.
Scarlett, keep your eyes open.
Whether you can make it or not depends on tonight…
it’s crucial.”
Sister Mei did not explicitly say it, but from her tone, Scarlett Glenn knew what she meant.
Meeting so late, huh…
Scarlett Glenn nodded, “I understand.”
Seeing Scarlett Glenn agree so readily, Sister Mei felt a little guilty, “Scarlett, you are a newcomer, but you are not young.
If you don’t seize this opportunity, you may never have another one.”
Scarlett Glenn was picking clothes as she said, “Hmm…I know what I want, you don’t have to tell me.”
Scarlett Glenn knew better than anyone what she wanted.
She wanted to be strong, she wanted revenge, she had been waiting for three years.
She wasn’t too eager to wait a little longer.
Now, what she needed to do was quickly make a name for herself in the entertainment circle.
