Got it—you’ve built the setup, the tension, and the relationships.

Now this next scene should feel like your moment: grounded, emotional, and character-driven without adding new complications.

Here’s your next screen (continuation, in your tone, block style): The night didn’t end loudly.Full novel: FINDING UNTIL FOUND — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

It faded.

Slowly.

Like no one wanted to be the first to say it was over.

Back inside, the farmhouse felt quieter now.

The earlier energy had softened into something calmer—comfortable.

Yeon sat cross-legged on the floor, leaning slightly against the couch, scrolling through her phone but not really paying attention.

Jeon sat nearby, not too close, not too far.

Ed dropped himself onto the couch with a sigh.

“I’m not moving from here.” “You’ve been sitting for the last hour,” Kel replied.

“I’m resting mentally.” “That’s not a real thing.” “It is for me.” Yeon laughed quietly.

Ana stood near the window for a moment, looking out at the dark fields.

The air felt different now.

Lighter—but also like something was slowly coming to a close.

Behind her— Kel stepped closer.

Not too close.

Just enough.

“…You’ve been quiet,” he said.

Ana didn’t turn immediately.

“I’ve been thinking.” “About?” A pause.

“Everything.” Kel nodded slightly, as if that made sense.

“It’s different now,” he said.

Ana finally looked at him.

“Yes.” No explanation needed.

That word carried everything—the past, the misunderstanding, the change.

Kel held her gaze for a second longer.

“…I’m glad you didn’t leave,” he said quietly.

That wasn’t dramatic.

But it was honest.

Ana’s expression softened just slightly.

“I didn’t want to anymore,” she replied.

A silence settled between them—but it wasn’t uncomfortable.

It was… complete.

Across the room, Ed watched.

Not directly.

But enough.

His eyes flicked toward them once, then away.

His jaw tightened slightly—but he didn’t interrupt.

Instead, he stood up suddenly.

“Alright,” he said, stretching.

“This place is too quiet.

It’s weird.” Yeon looked up.

“You’re the weird one.” “Correct.

And I bring balance.” “No, you bring noise.” “Same thing.” Jeon shook his head slightly, but there was a faint smile.

Later, when the night grew deeper and rooms were slowly claimed, the house settled.

One by one, lights turned off.

Voices faded.

Until— only silence remained.

Morning came softly.

Sunlight spilled across the wide fields, slipping through the windows.

Ana woke earlier than the others.

Not out of habit.

But because something inside her felt… clear.

She stepped outside.

The air was cool.

Still.

Peaceful.

Footsteps approached behind her.

She didn’t need to turn.

“…You wake up early,” Ed said, stopping beside her.

“Sometimes.” He glanced at her, then out at the fields.

“…You’re thinking again.” “Yes.” “What now?” Ana took a slow breath.

“About what comes next.” Ed didn’t joke this time.

He didn’t interrupt.

He just stood there.

Waiting.

That was new.

“I’m not going back to how things were,” Ana said.

“I know.” “I’m choosing my direction this time.” Ed looked at her properly now.

“…And where does that go?” A pause.

Then— “Forward,” she said.

Not specific.

But certain.

Ed let out a quiet breath.

“Good,” he said.

“Because I’m not planning to stand still either.” Ana glanced at him.

And for a moment— they both smiled.

Small.

But real.

From the doorway— Park Seo-Ah watched.

Again.

Silent.

Observing.

Not interfering.

But this time— her expression had changed.

Not just evaluation anymore.

Recognition.

Ana wasn’t just someone stepping into Rena’s world.

She was someone who had already started changing her own.

And that— was far more interesting.

Inside, Yeon stirred awake, groaning slightly.

“Why is morning so early…” Jeon, already up, placed a glass of water near her.

“You say that every morning.” “Because it’s true every morning.” He didn’t argue.

Just stayed.

And Yeon didn’t push him away this time.

“We’re going out,” he said.

“Jeon has a lake.

We’re fishing.” That— got her attention.

“…Fishing?” she muttered, lifting her head slightly.

Jeon, standing near the door, nodded once.

“It’s behind the property.” Kel sighed, already awake.

“This sounds like a bad idea.” “It’s a great idea,” Ed replied.

“You just lack vision.” “You lack logic.” “Same thing.” Ana watched from the doorway, arms crossed lightly—but this time, there was no hesitation.

“Let’s go,” she said.

And that settled it.

The lake was quiet.

Still water, reflecting the open sky, surrounded by wide land that felt untouched.

Yeon stood near the edge, looking out.

“…This doesn’t feel real,” she said quietly.

Jeon stood beside her—not too close.

“It is,” he replied.

She glanced at him.

“You say things like that too simply.” “It’s simple.” “…It’s not.” But she didn’t argue further
