Shen Yanzhou truly possessed zero strength left. His frame as white and clean as jade was draped lazily along the bathtub edge. His silver long hair stuck damply against his long neck and shoulder blades, a few strands draping inside his collarbone hollows, leaking a breathtaking fragility. His chin rested across his crossed hands, half his frame submerged within the water. Along with his breathing, the water rippled, faintly exposing his flexible waist beneath the surface.
The man pulled up a low stool to sit by the tub edge, holding that bowl of congee at a perfect temperature.
That congee was simmered with immense execution. The rice grains had long melted into the broth, transforming into a milky-white gelatine, floating with a layer of bright, golden chicken oil that wasn’t greasy. The chicken meat, shredded as fine as hair strands, blended with massive, plump dried scallops from Japan, along with exceptionally finely sliced ginger and crisp green scallions; merely looking at it, that rich aroma tunneled straight into the nose.
“Master, open up.” The man’s low voice sounded exceptionally magnetic within the water mist. He ladled a spoonful, carefully blowing away the heat until verifying it absolutely wouldn’t scald that delicate tongue tip, before feeding it over.
Shen Yanzhou tilted his head a fraction. The mouth that usually spat out biting words opened compliantly out of exhaustion and hunger, taking in the white porcelain spoon.
A warm current slid into his stomach, so fresh and sweet it caused one’s brows to unravel. “This congee… how did you make it?”
The man lowered his eyes, blowing on that spoonful of congee again before saying low: “Didn’t make it anyhow… just expended some time.”
“The type of pressure cooker inside the kitchen is too fast; the rice pressed out isn’t fragrant. I went to find an old-style clay pot.”
“A clay pot absorbs heat relatively slowly; someone needs to constantly keep watch.” The man lifted his head, looking at Shen Yanzhou with intense innocence. “I simply brought a stool to sit right there, keeping watch for four hours. Didn’t dare lose focus, fearing it would burn at the bottom Master would find it bitter upon drinking.”
“What about this chicken meat?” Shen Yanzhou took another mouthful, the texture嫩 smooth to an incredible degree. “How did you get it this shredded?”
The man pressed his lips together, intentionally retracting the large hand holding the bowl a fraction. Shen Yanzhou’s eyes were sharp, locking a grip around his wrist. “What are you dodging for?”
Shen Yanzhou narrowed his eyes, his focus settling onto the man’s fingertips a patch was red, even rising with several transparent blisters, clearly scalded by high temperatures. “What’s wrong with your hand?”
“N-Nothing,” the man twisted his head, frantically wanting to pull his hand back. “As long as Master is willing to return every night, none of this counts as anything.” The darkness deep within the man’s eyes rolled as he ladled another spoonful, this time adding a few more fine strands of shredded chicken meat.
He feared Shen Yanzhou wouldn’t come home, going to see other men, returning completely covered in a wild man’s scent like today. His master was far too beautiful, always attracting the covetousness of other men.
He fed him spoonful by spoonful like this, and Shen Yanzhou truly was starved ravenously; before long, the small bowl of congee hit the bottom.
As the final spoonful was fed.
The corner of Shen Yanzhou’s mouth was stained with a speck of crystal rice oil, hanging near his flushed lips. Falling into the man’s eyes, it was both sensual and innocent. He slowly extended his thumb, his finger print bearing thin calluses, gently pressing onto his soft lips to slowly wipe that speck of rice oil away, his gaze so deep it looked as if it would suck a person in.
He retracted his hand exceptionally naturally, yet his focus remained nailed deathly onto Shen Yanzhou’s face, slowly delivering that finger the one stained with Shen Yanzhou’s lip cosmetic and rice oil into his own mouth. His tongue tip swirled across the finger print, his adam’s apple rolling, his gaze deep as if he wanted to swallow the person before him down whole along with it.
Shen Yanzhou felt a sting from the heat in his gaze. The more he looked, the more he felt the man… resembled a dog. At night he absolutely had to wait for his master to return before being willing to sleep; seeing something stained near his master’s mouth, he would disregard everything to approach and lick it clean. A bit clingy, truly a piece of trouble.
But having clothes delivered to his extended hands and food delivered to his open mouth, without even needing to walk himself, also saved a massive amount of hassle.
“Full…” Shen Yanzhou tilted his head away, dodging the spoon delivered to his lips.
With warm food inside his stomach, his blood circulation accelerated, and the anomalous sensation that had been suppressed finally exploded. It wasn’t simple heat, but rather two dominant forces launching a slaughter within his blood vessels one was the pungent rum flavor remaining inside his lungs, and the other was the cedar scent radiating from the man before him. The two S-class Alpha pheromones used his body as a battlefield, clashing intensely.
“Uh…” Shen Yanzhou let out a muffled grunt, his previously pale skin instantly flushing with a bizarre tidal red. The dry heat charged rampantly along his blood, gathering onto that damaged gland on his nape, leaving him in such misery his toes curled tight. That sensation felt exactly like a fruit forced to ripen, desperately requiring someone to harvest it.
“Hot, so hot… probably caught a fever from blowing in the cold wind today.” He panted with misery, pushing away the feeding spoon, the edges of his eyes completely red. “Thirty Million, go help me fetch the fever medicine.”
The man looked at his eyes which were blurred by the sensory tide, setting down the bowl. “Alright, I’ll fetch it.”
However, when the man returned holding the medical case and hot water, pushing open the door again, his steps ground to a halt. Inside the originally clean bedroom, a concentrated white rose fragrance was diffusing rampantly exactly as if the flowering period had arrived, radiating a sweet, sticky mating signal. And within this room of fragrance, a sliver of the rum’s sharp notes was actually texturing the space without a shred of concern, looking exactly like a white rose that was supposed to be pure being maliciously irrigated with strong liquor, entirely drunk.
The blue veins on the back of the man’s hand bulged, his grip making the medical box thud. He strode to the bedside.
At this moment, Shen Yanzhou was sinking himself inside the deep gray silk bedding. Because it was too hot, he had kicked away half the duvet, his silver long hair scattered messily like a waterfall across the deep black sheets, a few damp strands clinging against his flushed cheeks and neck. Half of his long, white calves were exposed outside, his toes curled deathly from the unendurable dry heat, even his rounded fingernails flushing with an alluring pink.
“Ugh…” Hearing the footsteps, the person inside the bedding shifted with difficulty, a pale, slender hand extending from the duvet to blindly grasp at the void: “Fever medicine… give it to me, or give me a shot directly.”
Along with his movement, the duvet slid off a corner, exposing his long neck and that patch of his nape that was so red it seemed ready to ooze blood. He was thirsting for soothing.
The man’s focus settled onto his crimson gland.
Where was this a fever? This was clearly being provoked into a heat cycle by that person’s pheromones.
Simply because Fu Sihan drew close to him, it could force him into this image?
Jealousy instantly corroded his logic. Merely inhaling that person’s scent for a brief moment, and your body memorized it? What gives him the right? What gives your arrogant body the right to enter a premature heat because of that outsider?
The man casually tossed the medical case in his hand onto the rug. Immediately following, he began to strip away his own clothing, climbing onto his bed. His rough fingertips pinched Shen Yanzhou’s scalding cheek, forcing that face lost in sensory pleasure to square directly with himself.
Too beautiful. Those rare silver pupils were soaked entirely wet by the sensory tide, masked by a layer of blank water mist. The edges of his eyes were forced into a brilliant red by the heat, his eyelashes trembling with unease, every single tremor acting like a hook that left one unable to pull away.
Yet this flawless skin was currently being stirred into motion for another man’s pheromones.
Shen Yanzhou locked a grip around the man’s wrist, urging him: “Thirty Million, hurry up and give me a shot.”
The man exceptionally gently tucked his sweat-drenched strands the ones clinging against his cheek—behind his ear section by section, exposing his completely red face. He leaned his torso down, his nose bridge wantonly brushing past his tip, his lips pressing against Shen Yanzhou’s scalding ear flap: “Master, look clearly.”
“You haven’t caught a fever; you are in, heat.”
“How could it be…” According to the cycle, his heat period clearly fell on next week. Even if it was his heat cycle, he wouldn’t look like his current state; his gland was damaged, and normally he could get through it relying on alcohol to endure. Why would it look like this? It was absolutely from spending too much time with this dog.
And this white rose fragrance where did it emerge from?
“Master,” the man actively buried his head into Shen Yanzhou’s neck hollow, his high nose bridge rubbing against his snow-white neck over and over. “If it’s unendurable, do you want to inhale my scent?” As he spoke, he used a single hand to tear away the medical scent blocker on his nape.
In an instant, the cedar pheromones belonging to a top S-class Alpha slaughtered the lingering rum flavor until it was completely clean within moments. Carrying an intense invasiveness, like invisible vines, it drove manically into Shen Yanzhou’s open pores.
His frame—which could barely hold out—instantly turned as soft as mud, his entire being looking as if his bones had been extracted as he softly slid into the man’s embrace. The damaged gland on his nape, upon sensing the high-compatibility Alpha pheromones, throbbed manically, screaming to be soothed. The dry heat and emptiness plaguing his frame caused even his toes to curl tight, instinctively wanting to use his hand to press his nape, wanting to push this hazard source away.
But the exact instant his hand extended out, his wrist was snapped in the man’s grip. That hand was entirely devoid of strength, his palm packed with sticky sweat.
Looking at the person inside his embrace being tortured until his face was completely red and his consciousness was entirely gone, the possessiveness deep within the man’s eyes was too rich to dissolve. He caressed Shen Yanzhou’s crimson eye corners, saying pitiably:
“What should we do, Master? The fever medicine holds zero use, and the suppressants aren’t anywhere to be seen.”
“How can I help you?”
Shen Yanzhou let the physiological tears slide down his eye corners, yet his arms wound upward like vines, hooking around the man’s neck. He borrowed the force to rise, pressing the man’s head toward his own frame.
Their breathing instantly entangled, nose bridge pressing against nose bridge, four eyes locking.
The man completely hadn’t expected him to perform this action. Thump, thump, thump his heart suddenly hammered exceptionally fast. The blood across the man’s face burned all the way to his ear roots. The eyes that usually spent their time staring at Shen Yanzhou didn’t know where to look out of excessive shyness and excitement, his eyelashes trembling in a scramble, his adam’s apple rolling violently. That previous sinister aura and ruthless edge that wanted to devour a person vanished without a trace, leaving him pure-hearted to total helplessness instead.
Shen Yanzhou tilted his head back a fraction, his scalding lips tracing across the man’s lips as if they were barely touching.
The man’s breathing was completely wrecked, his hand clutching the sheets deathly.
The next second, he heard the person inside his embrace murmur:
“I taught you, right?”
“F— me.”
