Drops of blood accumulated onto the ground and all of a sudden everyone could recognize the victim.
The tubby man fell on the ground holding his chest.
His eyes were red and furious.
Panting hard, he looked back instead.
A young boy within his group stood right back of him with his hand still aiming with a gun.
“RASCAL!
You…you…piece…of shit…” After completion of the sentence, the tubby man lost consciousness and lied onto the floor; lifeless.
Everyone of the group looked intensely to the boy holding the gun.
All of their eyes seemed raged with determination to kill the young boy who just now killed their boss.
One of the lackey, a servile follower and a sycophant, came forward with rage.
“You piece of shit!
Whose boots did you lick to do such a heinous crime?
Did you decide to be a rotter?”
The hands holding the gun were shivering yet determined.
He was unquestionably unswervable the way he stood adamant and fixed in his position.
Another one rushed forward and grabbed his collar, “Dumbwit!
What have you done, you bootlicker?” And the very next moment a punch landed on the young boy’s face.
Instantly the gun dropped on the ground and the young boy was pushed back a little with the tremendous force applied suddenly.
But he wasn’t angry.
His solemn face, devoid of any humor, wasn’t raged at the person who punched him.
Instead there was some kind of contentment and victorious pride appeared on his face.
The young boy sedately held his composure.
With one hand, he massaged his cheek that was burning hot.
He could even feel the imprints of that muscular hand as he massaged with his fingertips.
Calmly, he grabbed his gun from the ground and put it back inside his waistband holster timidly.
With a low and speculative voice, he spoke “Before calling me dumb, look at your front.
Do you know who this person is?”
The angry man, agitated, rushed near him and again grabbed his collar, “Whatever the fuc*ing reason you give, no one shall spear you mercy for what blunder you have caused.
It’s a crime that you caused today.
Did you forget our boss was the one who picked up a rat like you from the gutter and made you live like a human?” He spoke gritting his teeth.
Evidently he was someone who would unquestioningly obey his boss, carrying out his orders and doing the menial tasks for him, often in hopes of gaining personal favors.
Over-all he was the ‘Yes-man’ of his boss.
But the young boy had his priorities set.
He didn’t lose his calmness and again spoke in a low tone, “I did whatever was good for all of us.”
“Good?
Do you think killing our boss was good for himself?” The angry man’s tone seemed sarcastic yet his face had no trace of humor.
“Of course!
Didn’t you hear what they suggested?” The young boy answered pointing his fingers to Scorn’s direction.
“Hugh!
Did you really believe your opponent’s words and killed your leader?
Our boss was the top dog in this city.
Who could defeat him?” The angry man publicized his words.
“If I hadn’t killed my boss, this man standing right here would’ve mercilessly killed him.
In the later days our boss would have been labeled as someone who got killed by his opponent ruthlessly.
But now that I’ve killed him, people would recall his name as someone who died by his treacherous lackey.
Don’t you think I’ve already paid off my debt to him?” The young boy asked the man staring straight at his eyes.
“So you’re now polishing your deceptive deeds this way?
Do you think we all are fools over here?” The man crumpled the collar of the boy he was holding in ire.
He still wasn’t convinced; there was insistent questioning coming from him.
“Do you think this man would acquit all of us?
Nothing can move an inch without his permission.
We’d have been vanished from here in a single blow.” The boy stated his facts valiantly.
The angry man loosened the grip from the collar, looking confused.
“Hugh!!
What do you mean by that?”
“He’s Mr.
Scorn aka Tsunami.” The young boy announced finally.
“Huhhhh!!” The shocked man instantly looked at his front.
His lips parted with bulged eyes.
“Re…really?”
Along with the man, all of his other mates too looked shocked as well as confused.
No one of them had ever seen the person the boy was talking about.
So for them it was partly hard to believe what the young boy was spouting.
“For a dumbwit like my boss who doesn’t even know when to open his mouth, don’t you think he deserves to get killed?” The young boy screamed at his fellow mates with confidence this time.
“We would have been killed by them for his unawareness.
Now don’t be a knuckleheaded and ask for any certification.”
“But how did you know him?
No one has ever seen legendary Mr.
Tsunami.
He never appears in some random place without any benefit.
For a young kid like you, how do you even know such a great personality?” The angry man looked sober now.
The young boy turned to Scorn and bowed his head, “Boss!” Then he looked at his fellow mates and continued, “Mr.
Tsunami helped me when I was a kid.
He might not remember me now but I’ll always be indebt to him for what he did.”
After the boy finished his talk, he looked back at Scorn.
The gaze in his eyes looked surreal.
His eyes twitched and exhaled shakily.
The angry man, who was now sober, took few steps closer to Scorn and bowed his head, “Boss!”
Instantly, the whole group bowed yelling, “Boss!”
Suddenly the intense scenario faded and the whole air was calm with only one word echoing, “Boss!”
“Hahahaha!” A loud laughter echoed amidst and everyone looked at Scorn.
“I like you.
You’re brave and quick-witted.
From now onwards, you’ll lead your team under me.” Scorn announced looking at the young boy.
