[Мiaо Miaо Doesn’t Еаt Fish: Whо beat my wife up like this!]
[Miaо Мiao Doesn’t Еаt Fish: Was it you, Вrоther Ze?]
Zhou Jingze thought: I’m innocent!
Immediately, Zhou Jingze also started sending gifts to prove his innocence.
Carnival special effects continuously filled the screen as 35 Carnivals were sent out in an instant, successfully rescuing Jiang Fu.
The moment the host announced the successful rescue, Gu also sent out a Carnival. His comment appeared on the screen shortly after.
[Gu: Impressive]
Gu was an Assassin who kept his word.
With this wave of Carnival rain, the number of viewers in the livestream rose again, reaching around 9,000.
Jiang Fu took the microphone:
“First of all, thank you to everyone who crowdfunded and sent Little Hearts for me. Thank you, Meow Meow Wife, for defending me. Thank you, Brother Ze, for the Carnival rain. Tower Defense has been a bit challenging since today. I know Brother Ze tried his best in that last round~ Carrying the banner of defense all by himself, so cool!”
“Thank you for Brother Gu’s support. Brother Gu, you’ve spent too much~”
After speaking, Jiang Fu’s fifth round of the day’s stay-or-switch PK began.
The host’s voice rang out again: “Welcome back, Brother S. This is Fu Fu’s thirty-fifth round of Tower Defense.”
Upon hearing this, Fu Siyan typed:
[I’m late.]
After sending the comment, Fu Siyan tapped on the screen and sent out 10 sets of Only Love for a Lifetime.
Accompanied by the special effects of Only Love for a Lifetime on the screen, Jiang Fu blinked gently at the camera, sending a charming wink.
After sending gifts as an apology, Fu Siyan didn’t forget the main task. He immediately sent out 50 sets of 1314 Little Hearts before giving his fingers a brief rest.
Reading the scrolling comments, Fu Siyan learned that Ze Hui had been defending Jiang Fu earlier. However, no extra emotion showed on his calm face; he simply sent out several more sets of 1314 Little Hearts.
Simultaneously, Zhou Jingze also made his move, sending out 52 sets of 1314 Little Hearts.
In front of the screen, Zhou Jingze rubbed his buzz cut, feeling that since he had initially been targeting Fu Fu, he needed to step up his efforts to salvage his image.
At this moment, the “Assassin” Gu seemed not to have expected Jiang Fu to have another defender. He didn’t make a move first this round, only sending a few sets of 1314 Little Douyins before observing from the sidelines.
The final score for the thirty-fifth round was displayed as Stay 135,800 vs. Switch 2,651.
Amidst calm and smooth progress, Jiang Fu reached the 40th round of Tower Defense.
“Now, this is Fu Fu’s crucial 40th round of Tower Defense. Little Hearts for those who like Fu Fu, Little Douyins for those who want to see the next person. Countdown, begin!”
As the countdown started, Fu Siyan felt that this round of Tower Defense would definitely not be easy.
The points for Little Hearts on the PK bar steadily increased, but there was no movement at all from Little Douyins.
“Something unusual is bound to happen, everyone. Stay alert, stay alert. The Assassin Big Brothers are holding back their big moves!” the host actively rallied votes. The comments echoed in agreement. Fu Siyan and Zhou Jingze simultaneously sent 52 sets of 1314 Little Hearts, seemingly testing the Assassin’s next move.
At this moment, Little Douyin’s health bar was almost completely depleted.
The countdown reached 5 seconds, 4 seconds, 3 seconds, 2 seconds, 1 second—the PK ended, with Little Heart winning by an overwhelming margin.
The Assassins hadn’t made a move! This left everyone present utterly surprised.
Just as the host was about to congratulate Fu Fu on her 40th Winning Streak, Gu’s message popped up:
[Gu: Double points for the Assassin? Is that allowed?]
Seeing Big Brother Gu’s comment, the host immediately changed his tune:
“Of course! Below the health bar, it’s double points for both the Assassin and the rescue. Right now, Fu Fu’s Little Heart points total 140,000. If you choose to assassinate, that would be 280,000 points. What do you say, Big Brother Gu? Will you make a move?”
[Gu: Yes, start the assassination.]
As soon as the comment was posted, the gift display showed, “Gu sent Urban Ranger × 14.”
“Thank you, Big Brother Gu! 14 Urban Rangers for a direct assassination! Everyone, type 666 in the chat.
Now, to rescue Fu Fu, we need 560,000 points. Everyone, it’s time to act! Don’t wait until the beauty is gone to feel regret!”
Jiang Fu couldn’t help but admire the host’s skill in rallying support, though she wondered if the two guardian Big Brothers might be displeased, as the double-points assassination rule hadn’t been in place initially.
So, Jiang Fu waved at the camera, signaling that it was okay if no one rescued her.
Now, it was up to the two Big Brothers to decide.
Hearing the host’s rallying comments, the chat erupted in laughter, and soon many began sending small gifts.
Fu Siyan; Zhou Jingze: ……
Fu Siyan didn’t comment in the public chat. Instead, he simply tapped the screen as usual, and the gift display showed, “Simon sent Carnival × 20.”
Seeing that Simon had already over-rescued, Zhou Jingze typed in the chat:
[I’ll raise the stakes.] Then, he also sent 20 sets of Carnivals.
With this, the rescue points reached 1.2 million. To assassinate Jiang Fu now would require 2.4 million points.
The hidden rules of the livestream were truly being played out by these Big Brothers.
