——————– From Suguru Geto’s perspective, it all happened too fast.

Himmel noticed.

The man seemed genuinely preoccupied with his hair, at least half his attention on it, only drawing his sword when the attack was almost on top of him.

Then streams of light tore through the air.

Geto caught several of them: straight, intersecting lines, crossing and gone.

The first, bottom to top , Nobusuma split lengthwise from its abdomen to its crown.

The second swept horizontal.

Third, fourth, fifth , All appearing in the same instant.

All vanishing in the same instant.

Fast enough that only the afterimages were real.

Nobusuma’s body broke apart midair, dozens of pieces raining down, black Cursed Energy residue bursting outward like spilled ink before the gale caught it and took it all away.

The light kept going after the Cursed Spirit was dead.

The wooden cage fell open, cross-sections smooth as polished glass.

The Ubume — spread wide to shield the Kaba Sisters , lost both arms at the shoulders in that same instant.

Both legs severed at the knees.

Her body lost its support and pitched forward to the floor.

Still the light extended.

The walls.

Cut open.

The roof.

Cut open.

In a single moment, the room stopped being a room and became scattered pieces of one.

Only then did the wind pressure from the sword swing catch up, blooming outward in a slow, inevitable swell, and the entire house flipped over.

That was now.

(What kind of speed was that?!) (Physical technique , or a Cursed Technique?!) Either way.

That physical ability.

That leisurely, one-handed, almost casual swing.

It reached into Geto and found something.

Thin Cursed Energy.

Impossible physical output.

Certain memories he didn’t want surfaced.

Himmel’s face suddenly overlapped with that man’s.

“!!” Geto’s expression shifted.

He bit down.

The Cursed Spirits surrounding him multiplied.

Himmel, for his part, was mildly puzzled.

“Strange.

Why are we fighting?” Different positions?

He could see it clearly enough , Geto had no hostility toward the sisters.

None at all.

But the moment he laid eyes on Himmel, his first move was to attack.

Was he always this quick to boil over?

Or was this narrow-eyed kid with the topknot just built impulsive?

No.

It really did seem to just be the temper.

Reading people was something Himmel had always been good at, a habit built over a lifetime as a Hero.

He’d noticed it from the start: Geto was already standing at the edge of something about to break.

Whether it was seeing the state of the Kaba Sisters, or something else entirely , the overflow was already imminent.

Watching Himmel draw his sword had simply been the last push.

What Geto was running on right now wasn’t logic.

It was venting.

Given that , “Let’s calm him down first.” The Hero’s mouth curved.

He said it like a settled fact.

The correct choice, for someone with the ability to make it.

Of course , Geto was strong.

Himmel could see that too.

The elderly Himmel, before his ‘summoning,’ might have actually felt some pressure here.

But.

Right now, he was wearing the body of his peak youth again.

And as a Servant, he carried the Goddess’s blessing with him.

At the same moment Himmel made his declaration, the Kaba Sisters , his Masters , saw something appear in their vision.

— Servant Status Panel True Name: Himmel Class: Saber Alignment: Lawful · Good Parameters: Strength: B+ Endurance: B Agility: A+ Mana: E Luck: EX Noble Phantasm: A++ [Class Skills] [Magic Resistance: C] As a Hero who defeated the Demon King, few legends speak to his resistance against sorcery specifically.

His protection against magical attack is not exceptional.

[Independent Action: A] As a guardian chosen by the Goddess, his Mana supply draws more heavily from the Goddess’s side than from any worldly Master.

He can sustain himself independently for a considerable duration without a Master’s support.

However, because the Goddess cannot directly intervene in the world, the total Mana available and its output limits are tied to the specs of the world itself.

[Personal Skills] [Infinite Martial Prowess (Pseudo): A+] The refined martial arts of an era in which he was called unrivaled , a complete unity of mind, technique, and body.

Allows him to familiarize himself with nearly any weapon rapidly and draw out its full potential within a short window.

[Eye of the Mind: A] Himmel’s most defining trait as a Hero is his extraordinarily sharp intuition, backed by equal depth of hard-won insight and combat theory.

Even cornered in an impossible situation, he can find the calm step that turns it around.

[Charisma: C+++] He was an adventurer, not a king.

He has no gift for commanding armies or ruling kingdoms.

As a Hero who slew the Demon King and opened a new era, the only context in which he is a true leader is the party of four known as the Hero’s Party.

Within that context, he is without equal.

With the Demon King as the objective and four as the unit, this skill carries the additional effect of turning “impossible” into “possible.” [Noble Phantasms] First Noble Phantasm: [Tausend Forms] Rank: A (A++) Type: Anti-(Unit/Army/Fortress/Country/World) Noble Phantasm [Noble Phantasm Details] Unlike other heroes, Himmel never wielded a divine weapon.

What he carried was a replica of the Hero’s Sword , a gift from a merchant.

There are even accounts suggesting he never received the true Hero’s Sword’s recognition.

And yet, he defeated the Demon King.

He turned the [impossible] into [possible] and accomplished what no one believed could be done.

Because of this, anything Himmel touches can be conceptually transformed into the Hero’s Sword.

When facing an enemy bearing the “Evil” attribute who surpasses him in strength , [Effect Unsealed].

Second Noble Phantasm: [Astraeum Crus] Rank: EX Type: Anti-Unit Noble Phantasm Range: Self [Noble Phantasm Details] The blessing of the Goddess , and her acknowledgment of the Hero’s Party’s deeds.

Two modes of activation exist.

Upon Noble Phantasm activation , [Unsealed].

[Active Armament: Unsealed] [Passive Armament: Unsealed] — Much of the text was blurred beyond reading.

Most of it meant nothing to them.

But the Kaba Sisters understood the feeling of it.

The blue big brother was probably really, really strong.

“So — what are your names?” Gravity was still doing its work.

They were falling.

Himmel held the two girls against his chest and asked.

“A-ah — I’m Nanako!

My little sister is Mimiko!” Free of the house’s dim interior, Himmel could finally see them clearly.

Nanako was the livelier of the two: light brown skin, short blonde hair, eyes round and bright.

Mimiko was fair-skinned, with slightly drooping outer corners to her eyes, clearly the quieter one.

Her small hands gripped her sister’s hem in a white-knuckled hold , though she kept sneaking glances at Himmel when she thought he wasn’t looking.

He smiled back when he caught one.

Mimiko turned red and looked sharply away.

“Alright.

I’m Himmel.” “Don’t talk now, and keep your tongue back.

You’ll bite it.” They’d been falling this entire time.

In the few seconds it took to exchange names, the ground had come up fast.

He caught debris at different heights on the way down, using the scattered pieces of the house to bleed off speed in stages.

At the end he dropped the remaining distance clean, toes touching first, both knees bending deep as his body rotated through the impact.

Smooth.

Total absorption.

The Kaba Sisters felt nothing.

An instant later, both of them were on his back.

“Arms around my neck.” “Mm!” Nanako and Mimiko grabbed hold.

Himmel moved the moment he finished speaking.

Toes drove into the ground.

Arms swung.

His waist loaded and his whole body snapped forward.

One blink.

Less than one blink.

He’d already closed the distance to Geto.

“!” He was being underestimated.

Geto’s body reacted before he’d decided anything.

Every Cursed Spirit he had came flooding out at once.
