The tide breathed with the spilled moonlight, waves crashing one after another against the isolated island surrounded by seawater.

Fine sand was swept onto the land by the silver waves, colliding with scales that flowed with brilliance.

A dragon was coiled upon this shallow beach.

The dragon on the shallows had a streamlined silhouette, covered in silver-white scales that occasionally flashed with golden lightning.

Atop its head were a pair of golden, branch-like horns, faintly marked with lightning-shaped patterns, glowing softly with every breath.

It seemed to be napping, its head resting upon its crossed claws, eyes closed.

Perhaps because its size didn’t quite match its resting place, a long section of its body remained submerged in the sea.

A sudden flash of lightning broke the tranquil atmosphere.

The Heavens grew dark; the bright moon hid its face as black clouds pressed down, and dark lightning bore down with a roar.

Thunderclaps rent the sky, casting the world below into black-and-white silhouettes.

The giant dragon opened its eyes amidst the thunder.

Golden irises lit up from the darkness; within the flowing brilliance, the heterochromatic parts were like Melted gold, slowly swirling around the black pupils, carrying a mysterious aura.

At the moment the ground was frozen in white by the lightning once more, a figure appeared within the shadow cast by the flash.

The newcomer wasn’t particularly tall, with clearly feminine contours.

She was dressed like a samurai, her clothes and braided hair an elegant purple.

She wore a bamboo hat to shield herself from the rain, as if she had known the dark clouds accompanying the thunder would bring a sudden downpour.

Most impossible to ignore was the Naginata held in her hand.

Purple lightning and Inazuma flashes danced upon the blade, and a murderous aura surged forward as she walked.

As she moved and shifted her stance, this divine weapon seemed as if it might slice through the curtain of rain.

Though her attire was simple and her entrance silent, her mere presence exerted an inexplicable pressure.

The giant dragon raised its head, a trace of confusion still lingering in its golden eyes.

Without any visible movement from the newcomer, an Gnosis adorned with a Triple Tomoe pattern opened beside the dragon, followed by a slash of indistinguishable origin.

Facing this sudden assault, the dragon’s submerged body coiled and churned.

As its head rose, the purple blade-light brushed past its side by a hair’s breadth.

After dodging the strike, it slightly opened its mouth, and a magic circle of overlapping triangles and circles appeared between its fangs.

The circle charged briefly, condensing a spinning, solid energy ball.

At its master’s command, the golden lightning orb collided with the equally sized Eye of Stormy Judgment, both vanishing into nothingness amidst the buzzing of intertwined purple and golden electricity.

This brief response gave the newcomer more opportunities.

By the time the dragon regained its focus, she was already poised in mid-air, ready to strike.

Carrying the might of ten thousand thunders, the blade-light whistled through the air, its sheer power making it feel unavoidable.

In the nick of time, the massive dragon suddenly shrank into a human form.

The drastic change in size caused the blade’s original target to miss.

The majestic strike leveled numerous reefs along the shore and whistled out toward the vast sea, quickly vanishing from sight.

“Wait, I mean no harm.

If there’s something to say, we can talk first.” Before the opponent could deliver the next strike, the woman transformed from the giant dragon was the first to speak and plead.

The bamboo-hatted warrior stood with her blade held horizontally, looking at the other with a hint of doubt.

After the transformation, the dragon was now similar in stature to her, with black hair and golden eyes.

From her appearance, she didn’t seem to be the combat-oriented type.

Even in humanoid form, the dragon horns on her head and the tail behind her remained clearly visible, displaying her non-human nature.

Although her Elemental Power fluctuations were strong, she didn’t seem to have the aura of a Archon.

From the moment they met until now, there was no sense of violence or malice.

The warrior thought this and asked accordingly.

“I am not a Archon, just an ordinary dragon.” The thunder dragon paused, then quickly explained: “I have no ill intent.

I’m just a wanderer with no fixed home and arrived here by chance.

If I’ve intruded upon your territory, it was unintentional.

I will leave shortly.” “As you can see, I’m no match for you, so there’s no need to worry about me doing anything I shouldn’t.” The warrior nodded, a trace of subtle embarrassment appearing on her face as she spoke: “Apologies, I misunderstood.

I sensed an individual with massive Elemental Power within Inazuma’s borders and thought another Archon had appeared to challenge the Raiden Shogun, which is why I attacked first.

I hope I didn’t cause you any Damage.” Having said that, she paused and added: “You don’t have to leave in such a hurry.” She seemed to want to say more, but gave up as she wasn’t good at such things.

She could only knit her brows slightly, lost in troubled thought.

Just then, a new figure appeared between the two.

The silent newcomer had an almost identical face to the warrior, the only difference being that the former wore a pale purple Kimono and held an Oil-paper umbrella in the rain.

The warrior cast a surprised look at her arrival.

She stepped forward, tilting her umbrella slightly to cover the thunder dragon as well, a gentle smile rippling across her face.

“My apologies.

I hope what just happened didn’t cause you any Damage.” “I am Baal, the Archon of Thunder of the archipelago.

This…

Miss Dragon, how should I address you?” The thunder dragon turned its head slightly to meet the gaze of this newly appeared Raiden Shogun and replied: “Just call me Clementine.”
