Beneath the star-filled night sky, the three of them set up a small campsite.

“So, you’re from another world?” Stelle’s eyes widened slightly, a hint of surprise showing at the girl’s identity.

Lumine, this blonde girl, was actually like her—also a visitor from another world.Full novel: Genshin Impact: Succubus Stelle — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Most importantly, this girl had come here by her own will.

In other words, she possessed the ability to travel between worlds.

If that was the case, Lumine might even be able to help her find the train…

“Mm.

A strange god took my brother away, and I was sealed by that same god, losing my original power.

We used to travel across many worlds, but now we’re trapped here.” Lumine nodded, her expression slightly downcast.

The campfire illuminated her face, tinting her cheeks with a faint blush.

“Trapped here…” The excitement that had just risen in Stelle’s heart gradually faded.

In the end, she helplessly reached up and touched her smooth gray hair.

That meant the girl in front of her was in the same situation as her.

“Then…

Miss Stelle, what about you?” Lumine looked at Stelle cautiously.

Her already flushed cheeks seemed to grow even more bashful.

For her, it was rare to feel so drawn to someone upon first meeting them.

Deep down, she had already begun calculating how many Primogems she would need to save to take this girl with her.

“Just call me Stelle…

I’m actually like you—also from another world.” After a brief hesitation, Stelle chose to be honest about her background.

“I’m a Nameless…” After some explanation, Lumine and Paimon roughly understood Stelle’s origins.

They didn’t seem to doubt her.

Stelle wasn’t sure whether they were simply very accepting, or if people in this world were already used to such things.

“How rare.

Running into two people from beyond the world in such a short time,” Paimon spread her tiny hands and sighed.

“So, Paimon, do you know the way into the city?” Stelle looked curiously at the floating white companion.

“Of course!

I’m the best guide in Teyvat.

Leave something this simple to me!” Paimon puffed out her small chest confidently.

“Oh~” Stelle clapped lightly, playing along.

“But from the slope near Starfell Lake, you should be able to see Mondstadt in the distance.

Didn’t you notice?” Paimon asked, puzzled.

“…I didn’t go up that slope.” Stelle gave an awkward smile.

She had been too focused on the statue, and then she ran into the two of them.

“I see.

It’s fine.

From here to Mondstadt, it should only take about a day at most,” Paimon nodded, not making much of it.

“Alright, it’s getting late.

Let’s rest.” Lumine reached out, pulled the floating Paimon into her arms, and rubbed her head.

“Good night, Stelle.” “Ah…

mm, good night.” Stelle hesitated before nodding.

In truth, she couldn’t fall asleep at all.

She still wanted to ask Lumine more about traveling between worlds.

But since Lumine had said so, she didn’t press further.

…

The night passed in silence.

Camping in the wild—especially with nothing at all—was a very difficult experience.

Sleeping under the open sky sounded simple, but in reality, it wasn’t comfortable at all.

Fortunately, the weather wasn’t too hot or too cold.

The climate was mild, and the patch of grass they had settled on was soft enough.

Lumine, however, seemed to sleep quite well.

She quickly fell asleep under a tree, hugging Paimon.

It seemed that over the past two months, this had been their routine.

Hearing Lumine talk about their previous experiences, Stelle found it hard to imagine what kind of life the two of them had been living.

Still, no matter what, this was Stelle’s first night in this world.

Lying on the soft grass last night, she simply couldn’t fall asleep.

As a result, she felt completely exhausted now, yawning repeatedly.

“Stelle, didn’t you sleep well last night?” Paimon asked with concern.

“Mm.

These conditions…

I’m not used to them yet.” Stelle rubbed her head.

Her memories were somewhat fragmented, but even so, she knew she had never slept under such rough conditions before.

At the very least, she had always had a place to stay.

“It’s okay.

Like Paimon said, we should be able to rest inside the city tonight.” Lumine, having finished washing up, walked over and looked at the gray-haired girl.

Today, she didn’t seem to behave as strangely as she had yesterday.

But it felt more like she was forcibly suppressing her impulses.

Stelle didn’t notice this subtle difference.

“Right, let’s get going.

If we move fast, we won’t even need to wait until nightfall,” Paimon said, smiling expectantly.

“Hehe, once we reach the city, we have to eat a big meal!” Along the way, Stelle and Lumine chatted intermittently.

Stelle asked many of the questions she had wanted to bring up yesterday but hadn’t had the chance to.

Unfortunately, Lumine remained vague in her answers.

Stelle didn’t get what she was hoping for.

A trace of disappointment appeared on her face.

But to Lumine, she looked like a little puppy that had been abandoned by its owner, making Lumine’s heart pound uncontrollably.

Even so, Lumine remained rational.

She didn’t understand why she felt such an indescribable flutter toward this gray-haired girl, but in the end, they had only just met.

She couldn’t possibly trust Stelle completely.

There were some topics she simply wouldn’t talk about.

“Ah, look!” Paimon, who had been flying ahead and quietly leading the way without paying attention to their conversation, suddenly cried out.

The two of them followed her gaze.

Not far ahead, there seemed to be something unusual…

They exchanged a glance and, with tacit understanding, quietly moved behind a large tree.

From there, they could hide themselves while peeking out with just their heads.

“Don’t be afraid…

It’s alright now, I’m back.” A boy dressed in green spoke softly to the dragon beside him.

“What is that?

A dragon?” Stelle asked quietly, a hint of confusion in her voice as she looked at the scene.

As a Nameless who had seen many things, the creature before her reminded her of dragons.

In her memory, even the Doomsday Beast of the Antimatter Legion had a somewhat similar form.
