In truth, what Satoru had just done was a teleportation-like application of Blue, using its gravitational pull on space.

Beidou, however, was not so easily fooled.

Movement bordering on teleportation was absolutely not something an ordinary martial artist could pull off. As expected, the Kamisato Clan’s eldest young master was a top-tier schemer who had hidden his true abilities extremely well.Full novel: Genshin: The Limitless Gojo — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Ayaka also stared at her brother in astonishment.

For that brief instant, even she had felt that the man standing before her seemed strangely unfamiliar.

But after only a few seconds, she shook her head and let it go.

No matter how much he changed, as long as he was still the Brother Satoru who bought her desserts and ruffled her hair, that was enough.

"Woooo—!"

A low, urgent warning horn suddenly blared across the deck.

"All hands, Level Two battle stations! Some deep-sea monsters with a death wish are climbing aboard!"

The sailors of the Alcor instantly shifted from their relaxed state into combat readiness.

Everyone rushed to their assigned positions, while the defensive cannons began turning with the deep grinding of gears.

"You two, get below deck and stay there. Once I’ve slaughtered these beasts, I’ll call you back out for a drink."

Beidou’s expression turned remarkably calm, her words carrying the domineering confidence of someone who had long since stopped fearing death.

For people who spent their lives at sea, monster attacks were as ordinary as eating and sleeping.

"I can help!"

Ayaka’s eyes were resolute, and the Cryo Vision at her back had already begun glowing with a deep blue light.

"Lady Ayaka, these things in the sea fight dirty. One careless move and they can make you pay for it."

Beidou hesitated.

After all, if so much as a single hair on this young lady’s head was harmed, explaining it to the Kamisato Clan would be troublesome.

"Hehe, Captain, you’re underestimating my little sister. She’s a proper Vision bearer, and her Kamisato Art swordsmanship isn’t just for show."

Satoru smiled from the side, smoothing things over.

"Besides, it’s too late to leave now!"

Dense black silhouettes had already climbed over the sides of the ship, surrounding the four of them.

Some were misshapen creatures formed entirely from pure Hydro energy.

Mixed among them were grotesque humanoid monsters.

Their bodies were covered in disgusting blue-green scales. Fin-like ears protruded from either side of their heads, their tiny red eyes gleamed viciously, and the ends of all four limbs were tipped with sharp hooked claws.

"Ugh—!"

"These things are hideous enough already, but they smell this bad too? This is practically a biological weapon!"

Satoru made an exaggerated gagging face in disgust.

The air was saturated with an overpowering fishy stench, as if several thousand pounds of dead fish had been left baking beneath the sun for three straight days.

The delicate pastries he had just eaten were threatening to come right back up.

"If you’re all in such a hurry to die, I’ll gladly oblige! I’ll turn every last one of you into charcoal!"

Beidou snorted coldly.

Her Electro Vision instantly erupted with dazzling arcs of violet lightning.

With a backward sweep of her hand, she pulled an enormous claymore out of thin air and drove it into the deck. Dense electrical charges immediately formed a ring of Electro protection around her.

The heavy blade moved through her hands in broad, powerful arcs.

Every sweep brought with it a deafening crash of thunder, overwhelmingly fierce and domineering.

"Rise upon the wind!"

Kaedehara Kazuha moved as lightly as a swallow, leaping into the air with a Fillet Blade in hand.

Anemo energy surged violently around him and instantly transformed into a ribbon-like miniature whirlwind.

Red maple leaves spun and danced through the flashing blade light as several monsters were swept straight into the air.

"Kamisato Art: Soumetsu!"

Ayaka elegantly unfolded the folding fan in her hand, as though beginning a dance of death upon the freezing deck.

A formation beneath her feet burst into bloom with magnificent ice flowers.

Terrifying cold erupted in an instant, freezing several unfortunate Hydro monsters solid.

Against people who had awakened extraordinary powers, an ordinary horde of monsters simply was not enough.

"Now it’s my turn to put on a show!"

A playful smile tugged at Satoru’s lips.

His entire body blurred like an illusion, and in an instant, he appeared directly in front of one of the scaled monsters.

Smack!

He casually slapped it.

The strike looked limp and almost completely devoid of force.

Yet the instant the monster came into contact with his palm, its entire torso exploded like a rotten watermelon struck by a sledgehammer, bursting on the spot into a heap of blue-purple chunks.

Filthy blood sprayed outward like a fountain.

But when it came within a few centimeters of Satoru’s body, it seemed to strike an invisible wall and slid eerily away to either side.

This was a form of spatial defense created by the Limitless.

Simple as it appeared, maintaining it required extraordinarily precise manipulation of Cursed Energy.

Other than a freak possessing the Six Eyes, no one in this world could possibly imitate it.

What followed was practically a one-sided slaughter.

Everywhere Kamisato Satoru passed, the grotesque monsters were left without even intact corpses, exploding directly into organic debris that scattered through the air.
